Some High Blood Pressure Signs Can Be Associated To Diabetes Signs Which My Doctor Told Me But I Got Tested For Diabetes But Negative During The Hypertension Screening
I was drinking beet juice that I made a smoothie out of for about two months. I have had high blood pressure for about 20 years. I have been on hypertension medications for the entire time and I am now on two different blood pressure medicines. Since I started with the beet juice smoothie, this is the first time I've ever seen my blood pressure this low. I have never had my systolic (top number) in the double digits before. It had dropped to 96/64! I contacted my doctor because I had almost passed out because my blood pressure had dropped too low. When I had my doctor's appointment, I was told because my pressure had dropped so low to discontinue drinking my beet smoothie. I thought they were going to tell me to discontinue the medication. I was shocked!!! I discontinued drinking it but will definitely talk to my doctor at my next appointment about coming off these BP meds. I am a firm believer that beets works!!
You’ve been taking hypertension medication for two decades, which is a very long time. Don’t stop taking it; you need to stay on it for the rest of your life. If you stop, you could face serious complications like severe withdrawal symptoms, an enlarged heart, a stroke, and more. I also have hypertension and have been on medication for years now. My uncle, who had been on hypertension medication for decades, stopped taking it, and just a couple of days later, he experienced severe withdrawal symptoms and had a stroke. Fortunately, he survived, but sadly, he can’t walk anymore. So, please don’t discontinue your medication. Once you start, it’s a lifelong commitment.

If there's one question I feel like physicians don't really talk through it's dynamic blood pressure. So, when you're really relaxed, one reading, you just sit down for a couple minutes, different rating, you're sore from a hard workout the next day, different readings again. How all of the dynamic factors in life affect the numbers you see on the screen
You're absolutely right! Blood pressure can change based on many factors-like stress, rest, and physical activity. It's totally normal for readings to vary throughout the day. What matters most is monitoring trends over time. Always take readings at similar times for consistency. Keep those questions coming! 😊
Could the kidney failure be the side effect of the blood pressure pills? When I decided to take medicine for my blood pressure serious. My doctor gave me a prescription. I went home and I looked up this pill. I kid you not bold print letters it said could cause death to African have not tested on any other race. I took that bottle back to my doctor and asked her why in the world would you give me something like this. So I took it in my own hands. By listening to your videos, and elderly Hindu lady video videos and variety of googling the natural subject of controlling your blood pressure. I have managed to get 125/82 and 119/75 just by staying consistent with drinking hot natural herbs. And I have to say keeping my dogs with me in the truck and doing my walking and weightlifting in the truck CONSISTENTLY😊
People need to remember that high blood pressure is not a dusease. Its a symptom if something else. Hugh unsulin levels perhaps? Maybe. But its a symptom.
Doctor,I need to know the correct way to measure blood pressure with the arm cuff. When I sit down & measure as if sitting at a desk with my left arm facing up,sometimes my blood pressure is high. But when sitting in the same position with my arm raised at or above chest level,my BP is never elevated.

mine is just about headache,if i feel the light headache from the back of my head(neck)going up i know my blood pressure is high..i will then take my machine and check...usual you find that its like 137/85 or around 138/88.....then i start to regulate it...within 3 days or a week at most i will be around 130/83 at that point headache i can feel headache once or twice a day,i can even keep it down to 114/80 ...no medication
I have normal BP at home, but every time I am in the doctors’ office, my BP is 147/90 or higher. I have taken my machine to the doctors’ office and it registers high in the doctors office. I also have a disease where my BP can go down to 60/40 and lower. I am taking a BP medicine, and my BP is still about 145/90. I don’t have headaches, I do have asthma and RA. The doctors has asked me to go to ER when my BP is 60/40. There I have had a heart stoppage. I am baffled.
@ My husband’s blood pressure would do the same when we went into the doctor’s offices. They refer to it as the “white coat syndrome.” Basically anxiety.

Consult with a physician specializing in high blood pressure. S/he can prescribe medicine to help you manage it and lifestyle changes(different type of exercises, healthy eating habits including low salt diet, etc) to make to keep it under control.

What matters most is monitoring trends over time. Always take readings at similar times for consistency. Keep those questions coming! 😊
My blood pressure is reading 138/110 and am taking losatas potassium in the morning, how do I do to reduce it?
I take it almost every day. My BP runs on average about 132/88. Should I be concerned? Thanks for the video.
Try some Celtic salt with food
Stay away from regular
NaCl table salt
@@kathleenking47 Thanks for the advice.

I check my blood pressure every morning of the day
THANK U & GOD BLESS U!
Hi Doc,
I suffered hypercalcemia and I had to remove one of my parathyroid gland. I realized that I have high blood pressure. I try to eat as natural as possible. Could it be the high calcium level that I experienced?
Thank you ❤
I take my blood pressure medication daily but the dizziness on for 3 month now any help..dr

@@delroyhawkins6225 is that good to lower blood pressure
Thank you so much doctor
mine is just about headache,if i feel the light headache from the back of my head(neck)going up i know my blood pressure is high..i will then take my machine and check...usual you find that its like 137/85 or around 138/88.....then i start to regulate it...within 3 days or a week at most i will be around 130/83 at that point headache i can feel headache once or twice a day,i can even keep it down to 114/80 ...no medication
Just checked mines 129/81
Check your iron level...
It’s because the monitor you bought online is 20 points lower than the monitors at the clinic.

I have back , sciatica, neuropathy and when I am in pain my blood pressure goes sky high. The doctor has put me on blood pressure pills but my blood pressure drop. What to u suggest
Sodium, sugar, chocolate, carob, sweeteners, dehydration, and stress elevate my blood pressure to high levels. I’m very careful about managing it.
Also, try Celtic/Himalayan salt
Stay away from table salt
With Celtic, the magnesium and potassium seems to normalize it..along with drinking water
Ive heard it from

What are the best blood pressure machines?
Great question! For reliable results, I recommend an upper arm cuff like my go-to option here: www.amazon.com/dp/B07RYBKNC2/?tag=drfrita. It's designed for accuracy, stores 14 readings, and features a wide-range D-ring cuff (fits arms 9” to 17”). Thanks for watching and taking steps to prioritize your health!
