When my gt730 was new I used to overclock The Core Clock --> +380mhz & The Memory Clock --> 300mhz (I used to give it steroids 😁😁). But sadly it's 3 years old now & it always crashes when I crank it up to that much power.

I did actually try mining with this card for the fun of it. Theoretically since the Kepler cards are using CUDA version 3.5, some mining programs should support the 2GB+ models. I only got two mining programs to start with the card however, and both of them would never find a share while mining zhash for 30 minutes or more.
what fan speed should i put? or should i leave it auto
For general use, gaming, or editing I always tend to leave cards on auto. Only with crypto mining do I ever really lock fans at certain speeds to obtain the exact temperature i'm looking for.

Gigabyte gt 730 rev.2 here, +260 clock and 200mem gives a nice boost, stable and not much heat, 474.64 drivers didnt work but maybe is my pc. Thanks for the guide men!

I overclocked my already overclocked from factory oc msi gt730 with msi afterburner to +300 core clock and +200 memory clock and it is surprisingly stable i got 0 issues at all

This was a succesful overclock. This is a really good overclocking guide. I had to downgrade to a GT 730 due of games crashing on my GTX 1650. This video helped me out to increase performance on the GT 730. Thank you so much!
DUDE SAME , I HAD A 1650 which kept showing black screen randomly and crashing , therefore i had to switch to my 730 , have you found a fix for it or did you buy a new gpu?

Just wanted to add the oc settings I tried. Core clock is at 600 and memory clock is 475 and it's running really well. Temperature is 39 Celsius or 102 farienheit. So it is running hot. But got around 100 fps in minecraft and my old world is taxing as hell due to chests, villagers, and item frames and armor stands. So it was a huge boost for me. Graphics settings were all on fancy and I kept render distance to 12 chunks. Even halving it still gave me around 80 to 90 fps on average with optifine so thank you for your video. It was awesome and perfect because it was short and to the point. As most of my games are minecraft modded playthroughs and pokemon and pokemon fan games I don't need anything too crazy but I need it to run smoother when I stream and this seems to be the best step forward till I can get some upgrades

man pc with gt730 is my first pc
i dont know why, but the gt730 is too good for oc, in csgo i play with 91.32 fps on benchmark, i overclock the gpu to +235 (1124mhz) and mem +210 (877mhz) and i achieve 122.81 fps on benchmark, almost +31,49 fps, and the gpu temperature never reach 48°. My gpu is a Colorful Geforce GT730, chipset GK208

Jeez! I have MSI NVIDIA GT 730 but the only version I could have is 391.
I overclocked my galax gt 730 4gb ddr3 by using nvidia inspector with 300+ on core clock and 200+ on memory. I used to get 35fps on 1280x720 low settings in GTA 5 now I can play 1447x831 resolution with medium settings and I can get around 45-55fps now that’s a big jump 😎😆

im running an AMD A8-9600 with the GT730 (DDR5) heatsinked, im trying to play apex on lowest settings while maintaining atleast 65°c, i have my settings on 245 core and 300 mem, is it overkill or am i not quite there yet?

I can’t over clock because msi afterburner just goes not responding and i can update drivers because it doesn’t work

@XLS Tech I'm new to the over clocking scene I have the evga version you use in the video. I have manged to get 2 of the downloads from steam but can't find the Tomb raider one. Is it really necessary to have this?

Found the max clock for mine is 1250 mhz on the core, it like it at 1150 to 1170 on the core. Unfortunately my mem does not like going past 950 mhz

Simple slide to max and put FAN speed to 100% ;)
I have the biggest KUUUUUUUUUUNT of an issue. My GT 730 bottlenecks to the moon and back. GPU is always at 100% usage, and it even places such a huge load on my CPU, legit goes to 95 freaken percent. Thankfully, I found a work around, certainly not a fix, but a work around. Disabling the card and re-enabling it removes the bottle neck, with minor glitches on the web pages that you surf afterwards. Writing and images on a page would come and go. Some sites it does it. Others it doesn't. I can live with that. Might be a code issue for a particular site, doesn't agree with the code of the GPU with this ridiculous bug. So I fix the bottlenecking, but then the CPU runs very hot. 95 constantly. I cannot change that. Wondering if overclocking the card to the settings that worked best for you would fix it? The +260 and +200. I don't know WHAT ELSE to do. What an absolute clusterfuck and a half. Cheers bro!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A6 6400K is a 2 core, 2 thread processor. Its on the FM2 socket, which is pretty old now.
You could look into getting an A10 or Athlon X4 chip that would fit into your motherboard, but it may not be worth it.
Next step would be to switch to the modern AM4 socket, but that would require a new motherboard, new CPU, and DDR4 memory. So that step is a big one.

From the example overclocks my gt730 is a zotac with 4gb vram i havent found the core overclock limit yet but its stable on +320 core clock and +145 memory clock (i tried +200 on the memory clock but it crashed)

I just overclocked to +362 on the core and +156 on the memory with that card and I got a 25% boost on the superposition benchmark on 720p low and I am now downloading 3D Mark demo to test that.
I had a spare gt 730 with the gk208 b chip, I could overclock it to about 1222 mhz (+300) core clock and 2750 mhz memory clock, it's a pretty playable experience for most modern games at low settings, 1080p

he is using the kepler type architechture which is different from the fermi architechture which doesnt support later drivers

Yes, in general higher core clock and higher memory clock values will allow for a better frame rate and/or graphics quality.

You may want to try dialing back the overclock settings slightly if you are getting crashing after playing for a time.

If you are experiencing glitching you may want to turn the overlock settings down to something less aggressive. You can also bypass MSI Afterburner from applying overlocks as it loads, by holding down the CTRL key as it starts up.

Thats because you oced it too much so, just so it doesnt harm itself it changed itself to 405 mhz default, i fixed it bt restarting the pc and ocing little bt little as he stated in the description..

That sounds normal. Some of the Fermi GT 730 are stock 700/700, such as the EVGA low profile model.

If you are stable and everything is working fine at 810, then that is certainly OK. A 110 increase is often no problem for this card. 👍

@@princekamanga the guy in video has kelper microarhitecture wich isnt end of life and support the latest drivers and u might Have the fermi microarhitecture wich does not support the latest driver, the newest driver thats works is 391.35.
