THE GOAT AS ALWAYS
do you like bananas?
Found your video today. You're a legend man. This fixed a stuttering issue I was having in multiple games
Wanted to wait until the end and after i completed the run to say it was an amazing and informative video my friend thank you very much.
Power management mode does not give you more fps when selecting “prefer max performance”. All it does is keep the gpu at max frequency regardless of the application. So basically if you’re watching UA-cam you’re gpu will be running at max frequency. Best to leave at “normal or optimal” that way you’re gpu will only boost when needed as in gaming situations and use less power surfing the web. After all it’s a power management mode not an overclock setting. No need to have your gpu maxed out watching pornhub.
Correct. I use adaptive. It worked for me, the Gpu uses max frequency when needed.
You put it into program settings, dedicate maximum performance for specific games. But for browsers and desktop keep it in under low if possible.
i do need my 4090 maxed for the hub bro
@@visionscopemx Hell Nah
@@dukapetar Fair enough but I only play first person shooters and my gpu is always at full boost in game regardless. If I was playing single player games I wouldn’t need performance. Most games are gpu bound so it’s always gonna boost anyway. Plus I’ve got a mild overclock in afterburner which overrides it. Easier to just leave it on normal/adaptive.
Thanks will try this later
I realized, while eating some chips and beef jerky and halfway ignoring most of what you said, that I have a 4080 and idk why I’m watching this.
Must be nice
Bro is just flexing😭😭😭
YOUR FOUL FOR THIS! ME AND MY NVISA 1650 DESERVE BETTER THAN THIS :(
First thing…don’t download Gforce experience!
@@newfinishautospa😂 yeah don't have drivers
Thanks it helped me a great deal I was getting so frustrated with the red x in fortnite 😎👍
Thank you for the content!
Thank you so much!
Broooo thank you soooo much love you brooo
Above works. Tested with default > power to max performance. Got a score of ~8000. Then with just the above settings I then got 8400+. Only setting that I had to change for my score to get registered on 3Dmark was to set "Texture Filtering - Negative LOD Bias" to "Allow"
that also reduces quality though
Allow means allow negative lod bias
Champ prevent lod bias.
Tested on 5 different GPUs none of these tips that everyone post worked. Like changing your personalization settings etc... The only working fps boost is debloating your pc.
you have 5 gpus?
@@wowaddict112233 yes
You trynna slide one of them gpu something better than a 1660
whats debloating a pc mean
@@grim8511 reduce windows backround apps that are not needed.
Thank you!
thank you so much I’m playing so smoothly only on 60 fps this helped so much thank you man 👊🏻
Why did you punch him
Thanks for the video! I need to test if these changes have any effect on some games randomly just freezing :)
Thank you!!!
Thx! 🐐
thank you!
thank you so much
The texture filtering (negative lod bias) I think should be in "allow" mode. You should only clamp it if anisotropic filtering is turned on. In your case, you turned it off.
Thank You That Really Help😀
Optimal power and adaptive actually give more wattage to the GPU than max performance which equates to more frames per second. There are a handful of articles where this feature is put to the test.
could you send me links to these articles?
yeah, OUT WITH THE SOURCES CHUMPY !
would you recommend image scaling for a ultrawide monitor?
Thank youuu
from 110-150 fps i got 160-250 fps thank you very much
bro thanks it been stuck for very long time thxxxxxxx
thank you for being one of the few creators to actually explain and show what each setting is doing!
you should watch raglarak, he is the most underrated, you can tell he knows his shit
quote : "thank you for being one of the few creators to actually explain....." Even explained it in a wrong way ;)
Nice video buddy, I´ll try these settings and i´ll tell you later. I really appreciate it!!
3 months passed and you didn't tell him anything. Stop giving empty promises
@@InsidePlay2023😂😂😂
It has been 10 months with no word from MGuate…you dirty liar…
Do u have to put it on every single time u Get off and on or is it always on
Thanks this halp sooooo much
❤️
4:29 the best is to use msi afterburner as it won't limit your gpu power
worked for me instantly didnt need to do anything the app did it for me and im getting 500+ frames in Warframe XD ty
code life here!
Disable vsync you never want that in any competitive title where you're concerned about getting the most frames or best latency
@@maxle95117 well that is Gsync not vsync
@@maxle951172 totally different things my dude
@@maxle95117Gsync and FreeSync are much more premium than vsync as it’s stock low end
@@maxle95117 whats ur nvidia settings?
Gsync is only for monitor that can have Gsync
thanks fella hopefully this will make cyberpunk 2077 worth playing
thanks for the video, can u please tell me how to choose a specific color like for example orange how i make this color is highest available on invidia settings?
I’d love to see a similar video for AMD
When I heard that I need to download Geforce Experience, I paused the video.... NEVER download that. 11 processes running in the background, and it connects you to the nVidia servers.
Sorry mate defo not needed! Just for ease of access I recommend it as some people can’t be bothered to find the drivers manual which is fair. But you have a fair point thank you for sharing
Anisotropic filtering doesn't lower your FPS since at least 1999 even on a GTX 960 or 760 or a GT 730...
i have a 1050 ti. will it work with the settings too or is there a riskt that my GPU will explode?
can you find out what bugha nvidia control panel is ?? like a very up to date one
Thanks to this my games run on 3 fps and i cant open my Control Panel to reset it! Thanks @Codelife
Fr?
Thank you.
Nice
Perform scaling on: Display or GPU? im using 1060 + 240hz
What driver u using on this video?
When I right click my desktop that option of control panel doesn’t show up?? How do I get to it
does this work if you use geforce now? i play on a dell inspiron so i use geforce now to play.
I have a Helios predator 300 I brought a week ago that has windows 11 and my Nvidia control panel doesn’t have half of those options.
so if you already have windows 11 do you still download it again to get the fresh reset
Thank you. For the first time, I see someone doing something good for the graphics card. I saved my card from destruction. It was not taking up the memory of the shared GPU, and I had a lot of DirectX problems. my graphics card asus gtx 970 strix 4gb and Best Settings for FPS in Battlefield 2042 low 1600x900 80-120 fps
so you were able to fix it with these settings?
@@iangpc4945 all Settings what he do and for good shared GPU fix i think by low latency mod i make it ultra
Can you make one for low-mid lappy!!
Codelife remember that we are only following you because we want better FPS & NO DELAY. So hopefully it will work out for me right now because on "FixTechGaming" youtube channel he hasn't had an updated version yet. So now whatever settings I do use in FORTNITE should have "NOT" have screen lag and stutters?
If I'm in a game while making changes, do i need to reboot the game after applying?
Can someone tell me what is the "OpenGL GDI compatibility"? I saw this in Nvidia Control Panel and Idk what it does
Put it on performance and see if it makes any difference and if it doesn’t then js keep it on auto
Does this effect temps?
thank you now getting over 100fps on tarkov
if you're on display scaling with no scaling then chosing the overide scaling set by games will force GPU scaling ... soOOO kinda defeat the purpose of chosing display scaling mate
Bro will does changing settings...will my laptop overheat?
I have a 3080 ti and play with a xbox controller but it seems more higher imput lag than my xbox around 50ms. Any help?
i have one problem in the adjust desktop size and position i have all options blocked pls help mee
Thanks man you save my computer🎉
Plz tell me any video Compressor through which i can reduce the size of my videos
For some reason under the view hdcp status mines says "this display does not support hdcp"
tnx brfo
I have dell precision 7710 model with Nvidia Quadro m5000m all games stuck at 60fps even i try low or setting or low resolution or high nothing happen how do i fix it?
this one is good
So you got rid of my stretch res nice one
these setting took my stretched res off. which setting do i have to change back?
and got 60fps like normal but after 30 sec i got 10 fps for like 20 sec and after that again got 60fps after that i quit and went in other games and it happened in all games but seems to find out before i play cs everything is alright
Thx for the video. Any idea how I might copy these settings to another PC, like a file location where the settings are saved at?
@@VolutedJoker I can't find any place to export the settings, can you tell me where it's located?
I have different types of nvidia control panel there is no feature like yours?
Most of these settings will barely make any difference if any at all, hence why videos like these pretty much never show a before and after.
this will make your games visuals look horrible fyi, trees will look smudgy rather than leafy, grass will look weird etc. not worth the performance gain you get either. makes about 5 - 10 fps difference at best depending on your gpu. You could go for a balance, leave the texture based stuff alone and anisotropic filtering alone but tweak the other settings. For instance, anti-aliasing most games do not need anymore because we have DLSS so it is a good idea to turn that off (or set it to application-controlled if you play some older games with no dlss support)
Just turn resize bar on nothing and G-Sync to 5%-frames optimization and in game use V-Sync that's all rest u now
What is Bugha's nvidia control panel settings?
i dont have display and video settings i only have 3d settings is that normal?
are these settings good for gtx 560 ti?
i have rtx4090 with i9 14900k is that normal if i am looking for more fps boost ?
bro i just did this settings but when i play valorant and press windows my pc is going blank and going to desktop and when i go back to game its going blank and the game is full destroyed , now what should i do!!!!
gsync on or off ?
Are u playing on geforce now?
People don’t know about this stuff already?
I have screen tearing when gaming quite recently last month this year, normally the vsync enabled can get rid of it but caused input lag due to limited fps (same as refresh rate). My current driver version is 528.11. Prior to this, there was no tearing on my 60Hz monitor, even at high fps (180 - 200 fps). So could one of the updates of my gpu cause it?
does your monitor have tear free settings or did your old one?
Brother I have had the exact same problem recently!!!! finally someone else
@@Omenzy it was resolved by downgrading to an older version of my GPU and the tearing effect was not very significant.
@@sodium23_YNWA I did the same thing about an hour ago and problem solved

I know it’s late but keep it on auto :)
so i have a i9 12600k and a 3070 and i did all these setting for fivem and it made my gpu be at 99%
How would you handle a 244 HZ monitor On a 2070 Graphics card that can only cap out at 144HZ? Change your Advanced display settings to 239.989 Hz and set you game to 144HZ or match them?
you have too much monitor and not enough gpu my boy
This actually made my FPS so bad I couldn’t play a single game of warzone
same all those settings suck bro i used to get 300 fps now i get 75
just reset them then.

Hi guys. I'm looking for help. I was messing around with nvidia settings in multiple display settings. My laptop is connected to my tv with an HDMI cable and now the tv and the laptom are showing different things. Can anybody tell me how to reset this to default so that both the laptop and the tv would show the same thing? Thank you

Great video. Simple, sweet and effective. I love the North East accent too as I'm from that neck of the woods.
Thank you Liam mate! I’m from Consett way but been in Newcastle for a while now
@@codelife I’m from Morpeth mate. Just tried them settings my FPS games are now running really well. I’ve got a decent PC with an entry level graphics card and these settings have helped get the most out of it. 👍
how do you make it show up in obs
uhm
when i changed some settings my pc screen like zoomed in
ambient occlusion is actually always worth whatever fps it takes away from you since it gives everything depth and without it any game will look terrible so leave it on
actually. games look flat without it. same for a bunch of the other settings that he did. at that point, just lower the game settings themselves lol....
On Low Latency mode, If you are on AMD and using free sync use the Ultra setting, if using Nvidia G-Sync have it set to On setting..
Why? Answer ASAP please? Thanks in advance mate!
By AMD you mean the monitor? mine s MSI and it says AMD Free Sync....
@@benjaminmarineanu4454 AMD GPU, use ultra setting, Nvidia GPU use on setting. If your screen is Free sync most likely it will have both options in the screen options on your monitor, most newer screens support both free sync and Gsync.
Ever since I turned these on I haven’t been able to play performance mode on fort can someone help, or maybe it’s something else idk
