@@jzhvaeduh They used the yellow, blue & coral colored rods to give me the 4a/4b curls I wanted. It turned out great with the pattern. Now I'm trying out different products (leave ins & curl creams) to find the perfect regimen. Actually, as of today, I think I've found the PERFECT 2 minute process. I'm officially hooked! I luv my new look!

@@jzhvaeduh yes, my curls are tighter. If you go to Google and search the hashtag 'gina curl instagram', you'll see alot of people's gina curl result pics. If you scroll thru, you'll see a particular influencer's pictures (she's wearing a bright yellow shirt and has a mask on) who is called 'natral2curl'. Her exact curl tightness is what I told my stylist I wanted, hence the reason I had the smaller rods (yellow, blue & coral rods)

Tip for swimming in ocean or pools. Saturate your hair with water before and conditioner. If your hair already is soaked it can’t absorb much of the chlorinated or salt water. Also always shampoo with a clarifying after swimming. There are even specialized shampoos designed to remove chlorine and salt. Also they make swim conditioners to protect hair from the water

Hey that OGX has keratin in it, and she said anything with protein is bad for your GinaCurl!
So I think the more you use that conditioner over time you may be messing up the new chemical bonds in your hair strands that the gina curl gave you with that conditioner. I would double check with her though, but anyways I can't wait to see some detangling videos and hair styling videos and make up because your hair is gorgeous!!

Let me tell you the truth about 3A/3B hair you can swim in the sea up to 7 days straight and the sea will never damage your hair. This is due to the natural minerals salts naturally occurring in the ocean. It is much better than swimming in a hotel swimming pool, which has man made chemical in it called chlorine, which strips the hair of all its natural moisture and is damaging to curly and kinky hair. When you finish swimming in the sea make sure you bring with you a wet hair brush or very wide tooth wooden comb. Rub into your hair a rich conditioner or deep conditioning mask and place your hair up into a bun on top of your head, or put on a shower cape over your hair and let the sun naturally activate your conditioner. When returning back to your hotel room, rinse off the conditioner, "do not shampoo your hair", just apply your natural hair care products and you are good to go. Your hair will look and feel beautifully soft and shinny. If you decide to try out the hotel swimming pool only swim two time within a week and always shampoo and condition your hair and apply your regular hair care products, after a swim in the pool, because of the damage chlorine, can do to your hair. Best thing you can do is to avoid swimming pools altogether, when on holiday and stick to God own sea it's better for your hair.
