Hey, I would have suggested you take a look at the JVC DLA projectors. I nearly crapped myself after seeing the black levels of that projector (bought the x790r). not even kidding you that when comparing the black levels to an LED-LCD your may pick the black levels of the projector as being blacker as JVC makes the darkest black levels of any projector much better than even sony. I don't even have a blacked out room (bright colors on floor ceiling and walls). once I bought this and built some high end speakers I have been watching 10x the amount of tv shows and movies. its so life like now, much better quality than a movie theater. Only downside is the cost of piecing this together with some near gear and some used gear the price is still around $12,500. even at half off used the projector still cost $3,000. but man oh man once you see and hear the quality you cant go back. PS, dual 24 inch custom subwoofers can be to much if you listen loud on a Godzilla movie.
Hey man, A lot of the bigger UA-cam channels gloss over a lot of practicality so I really liked how you mentioned things like the height of the projector for screen and maybe needing to change your media unit height etc. This is the stuff that matters to most of us who do not have money to burn. When we decide on a big purchase it's those things that actually matter and what you are looking for. Knowing the spec and how good the projector is is only 1/4 of what I feel is the whole process. Setup, changes and what you need to do to your home and setup, configuration and day to day use are far more important. I would like to see more on this and I liked your video here for those elements. THANKS!
Big up Villa mi love it mek me a think bout dah same move deh. I must say an interesting change I have been wondering about that change as well and genius editing I must say.
Dude with skills like yours dont ever waste your time shopping for furnitures. Not only they look perfectly designed they also look great with the finishing touches. Kudos
The quality of that projector has me gobsmacked, even watching through my phone, with the colours and sharpness of the picture. Something about that projector image appears more of a television image that a theatre image. Projectors have improved a lot since my Panasonic PTae 500
Always love your style, comedic approach and editing skills. Welcome to the world of projection. I can’t ever see myself going back to a TV for my home theater.
Love my JVC rs540u and 115" 2.35:1 scope screen. Replaced my 65" I bought end of last year and I'd never go back. Well it's a dedicated HT. That 65" now is in our regular living room.
"If you're into that and you still haven't subscribed yet.... I don't know man." I'm subscribed! That made me laugh and I love it when education is uplifting! Great video!
I have the same setup except I have the 120 in Elite screens CLR. The other ALR screens that I could find were much more expensive. I totally agree that the bigger screen size is much more immersive than a 65-70 in TV and a reasonable tradeoff for picture quality. Having said that I find the image in a darkened room is stunning, and in a well lit room is still excellent especially for sports. I played around with some calibration settings on some of the forums and it helps with color accuracy. I look forward to your in depth testing.
This video is fantastic and exactly how a review should be done, you answered every question o had about projectors. Keep up the great work, you've got bit things ahead with video quality like this
I complety agree. Great video and very detailed. I really wish I knew some of this stuff before I bought my optoma. As others have mentioned, no other videos really talks about the how low the stand needs to be depending on the screen size. Add to the fact that there is an offset for each unit and DLP has no pixel shift, no two units are going to be the same in regards to where the bottom of the image is from the stand it's sitting on. This doesn't seem to be discussed much at all so anyone thinking about UST should be aware of this. The offset makes a huge difference for UST at where the bottom of the picture will be. I ended up getting the optima p1 and for a 100 inch screen there is a three inch difference of where the bottom of the picture is. For a 100 inch screen the minimum of 14 inches (no offset) to 17 inches (max offset) from the stand the projector is on depending on the unit. The LG has a much lower offset than the Optima. The main reason the LG projector is more expensive than other UST projectors is it has no color wheel. It uses a 3 Channel Laser with Wheel-less Tech The HU85LA uses RGB separate primary colors. All others are dual Lazer with color wheels. Color wheels for DLP have the highest failure rate which is try for any moving parts. The other is probably software. Optoma built in apps are limited to 480p and there are some glitches when changing picture settings. An external source is absolutely needed. I'm amazed at my optoma p1 paired with a 100 inch Grandview Dynamique. Grandview is the only middle ground between higher end models like Screen Innovations and the Da- lite UST screens that can resolve 4k pixels. The Elite is only rated for 1080p and tests have proven that so better sharpness on a screen that can resolve 4k pixels. Pretty good deal at projectorscreen .com (no affiliation) right now.. Even though both the LG and optoma are faux 4k projectors using pixel shifting to achieve 4k, I wouldn't buy a 4k TV that can't resolve 4k pixels. I would love to see a comparison of the Elite vs the Grandview but from what I've read Grandview is every bit as good as SI and Da-lite. Screens. They are just terrible at marketing and promotion but that results in lower costs. Screens also last longer than projectors so my next UST PJ will be true 4k as I'm not going back to standard throw. Only UST pj that is true 4k is 25k. I used a Stewart Firehawk for eleven years for standard throw before getting the Grandview. I do wish I had the skills/tools to build my own stand. They sell some cabinets specifically for UST projectors but they are insanely expensive.
Subscribed. Hell yea. Been working in the Home Theater Dept of a very large and popular electronics store. Been watching videos to acquire knowledge to better help customers. This will definitely help.
So two years later, did you end up liking and sticking with the large screen projector more than your OLED TV? To do it over again, would you go with a 100 or 135" projector or the latest gen OLED at 77" or 83"? Thanks!
You could have 100 tvs for this price and picture quality won't burn your eyes. Home-theater non-enthusiast. Still I find myself self subscriped to this channel😉
Very well spoken and you cover everything. The 88" LG Oled was $59,000 recently and that still doesn't get to 120" for the cinematic experience as you say. So Laser projectors seem to filling that void.
got my hands on a venue projector, Mitsubishi UD8400U full HD.. after 150"+ onto my wall, I can no longer go back to a smaller screen now. I am done with large screen TV's. I am probably doing myself a disservice by not using a projection screen yet. Need ideas on where to get one that big while still being easy enough to pack up when it's time for me to move to another apartment.
Just bought optoma P2. And I have same issue. 1 buy ust 2 buy stand to fix screen 3. Look around for screen. Elite screen was a huge hassle to assemble with border assembly and wrinkles on the screen
They won't. MicroLED will take over. Highly modular and will do 100+ inches easily while retaining image quality of the best TV's. Projectors are all aboug size, image quality is bad. For gaming they are a complete disaster too. There's sooo many cons about projector, which is why it's a niche market.
I bought my 65” Lg C9 OLED TV a few months ago but I will tell you, these table laser 4K projectors has me thinking.. I absolutely love my C9 OLED but let’s face it, there’s just something really cool about these new projectors. Great video, my man!
Projectors have tons of cons, which is why it's a niche market. Even cinemas are slowly going away from Projectors for a reason. HDR is a joke / none existing on projectors. Input lag is skyhigh etc. Hell for dark room viewing even a cheap LCD will deliver better blacks than a projector.
Zack Heffner this is so true! Since i have an OLED TV I can‘t even look at my iPad Pro anymore without thinking that it has one of the worst screens I‘ve ever seen which it obviously does not...
Zack Heffner OLED to other screen technologies: “You ain’t black.” Sorry, don’t mean to make it sound political. Can’t help but think of the phrase when looking at TV reviews. I’m still stuck on 2008 LCD tech.
I have a 5.1 sony home theater...with 3 speakers connected to the bluray player come amp and another amp for the rear surrounds....now I want to make this system into a 5.2.4 Dolby setup....what is the best way to do it...btw the ones I have are the Sony BDV-N9200W
Hi man! I can't find comparison between Epson EB-L400U and Epson 6050UB for home theater. Could you tell something about it? (black levels, HDR?, absence of "4K" resolution, laser technology advantages) Thanks.
I think UST projectors are what I'm most excited about. Now anyone can install a projector without the nightmare of wiring ect. I just wish they weren't so expensive but I see in the future UST appealing to the average person. Faux 4k/Native 4K they both look the same and the pixels are there so I'm not too concerned about it.
Hey great review. I have a large media room and I am planning on a 120" electric floor rising screen after seeing you struggle to assemble and mount yours. I have also been thinking about a stand for this thing and my home theater system. JL Audio Fathom 13" sub to bass a little. Mostly 5:1 speaker surround. Nobody seems to make a stand wide enough to place your projector and have a 7" wide screen that rises 2" away from the wall. So you really need a stand that is about 30" wide by however long you need, and also room for your speakers, receiver, amps, and other items such as a 4K DVD player. So your choosing a butcher block and making your own stand is a great idea. I am definitely going to look into that.
Congratulations on your projector. The large screen makes even ordinary content spectacular. You'll enjoy rediscovering your games and movie collection with the scale of the projected image -- also, there's simply a wow aesthetic (beyond simply being bigger) that's unique to a projected picture.
I'm on my 2nd projector system. I sold my last home with a 100" projector system I built back in 2010. Bought my new house and I kept messing with several 4K TV's I own until I settled on my new 1080P Optima Ultra Short throw projector($1K). I didn't have the $2K+ for another really nice 4K ultra short throw projector. I have it paired with a 92" Silver Ticket Screen. My family and I could not be any happier. I did check out and demo several 70" to 80" 4K TV's but I just couldn't do it. Once you go with a good projector setup, most TV's just don't make the cut. I have a 60" 4K TV in a TV/gaming room and a 4K fire TV in my bedroom. Both with complete surround sound systems and best TV enjoyment is always with my 92" Projector setup, Day or night. Great job on getting ambient lighting comparison. Also, I have noticed a lot of glare and reflection on most large TV screens. I've seen it at family and friends homes. The actual image is so hard to see because of the mirror effect. That really ruins enjoyment of a high quality TV. I find the glare to be a much bigger problem than ambient lighting on a projector screen. Great video, I like your table saw setup too.
Dear I really need your advice, which TV I should get for my Playstation 5 between these two options: 1. Samsung Q70T 2. Sony X9000H (No VRR) thanks in advance
This is the cleanest UA-cam channel I have ever seen...lol . My 2016 model lg has hdr on Netflix but not on the UA-cam app I got a 2018 model now.and it has hdr feature on UA-cam
I just came across your channel searching for information about laser projectors; great presentation! Thank you :-) I'm about to upgrade to a third projector (previous two were ceiling mounted projectors). You have me stoked about a new laser projector.
Hey, my friend.. I love your 4k videos and you're a plethora of knowledge. I currently own a Sony 55es long throw projector that shoots onto my vutec 120 inch screen. My projector is going on 5yrs old and my screen is almost 8 yrs old. I was injured a loooooongg time ago in a car accident which left me with a severed spinal cord. I'm a quadriplegic but I'm still enjoying life thanks to home theater and gaming. 😝😝 Like you I'm 6'4 and was to be drafted via baseball back in the day. Anyway, I digress. I'm 55 yrs old now and I have this dedicated home theater in my basement. Using klipsch premier speakers, I have a 7.2.4 Dolby Atmos sound system which I thoroughly enjoy! I have a Denon AVR-x4200w receiver to power it all. I feel like it's time to upgrade to a laser projector. I short throw laser projector wouldn't be practical as my center ch rests right under the bottom of my screen which is about 16 inches off the ground. I want to replace my receiver, screen and projector. I love my Klipsch speakers. I just saw LG's new au810p front throw dual laser projector with over 2,700 lumens and excellent HDR with pop they say and tone mapping. They say you can get great black levels by adjusting this projector and it's only $3,000. I hate to go with a Sony 325es at $5,500. I'll need a screen too that's 120 inches. I really want to know your opinion. I also have a Sony 65in edge lit x930e which is over 4yrs old. I was fortunate to get an Xbox series X and it's time to upgrade due to the 120hz , Vrr, etc. You know what I'm talking about. I'm seriously considering the LG C1 77inch as it has everything I need for gaming. I've never had an OLED before but I'm trying not to worry about burn in. I will use my tv for gaming maybe an 1 to 2 hours a day if you averages it out. Can't be too crazy as I'm limited due to my injury. I also see Sony has their A80J but they're lacking some of the gaming features I'll need. The downstairs theater is so important to me and I love the idea of not worrying about bulb replacement but I do want to see star wars with a nice dark sky and I'd love to watch Batman v Superman director's cut with very nice black levels. Please, I need your help!!!!👍👍😂😊😊 I love your videos and please keep up the great work!! Pss One more thing. Digital trends just did a review of the 8k r648 75 inch by TCL and WOW were they surprised at the black levels it produced. It even had a thx optimizer for gaming. Funny how a very good tv can come in this late in the game. It wasn't the 65 in variant as that didn't get great reviews but completely different when talking about the 8k. I guess it's one way if you don't want to purchase an OLED. Thanks very much for your time. Nick
Just stumbled upon this video looking into short throw projectors. Amazing content and great video production! I wish much success for your channel. SUBBED
It is exciting you choose exactly this specific projector ... no hazzle with UHP lamps, no colour wheel, DCI-P3 with 97% coverage, 2700 ANSI lumen ... and last but not least LG's dynamic tone mapping technology (I really love it ... although it slightly modifies creators intent...means it is not 100% accurate ... but still realistic imho). I am expecting you will get very impressive movie sessions with high immersion level :-)
Great video, and nice job with the stand., I'm looking to upgrade our 8 year old 46 inch Toshiba led , I tried a Q95t, but sent it back, as, the picture on sd didn't look very good at all, and I found the screen too bright to watch comfortably, even on a low setting. I was put off an oled because the screen burn issue. Have you experienced any screen burn with your oled? And what oled would you recommend? Probably go for a 55 inch.
Sd didn't look good? Really dude? Maybe because it's sd on high resolution display? Of course it don't look good. Good grief. All content for years now is high resolution
Hi The_VillaMan, Excellent video! Can you tell me how far your projector is sitting away from the wall with the screen, and height between the the shelf where the projector is sitting and bottom of the projector? Thank-you so much!
With luxury to have an attic space above my media room, and easy access to install overhead projectors, are they better options (quality and cost wise) than shortthrow ?
Sub’d man. In the market for 75 to 80 inch screen. Have been checking out ust projectors or oled TVs. I think at sizes smaller than 100inch... TVs are the clear winner. Contrast ratio, lumens, smart tech, speaker quality etc etc. But I’ve not made up my mind yet. I’ll keep watching. Love your video style. Greetings from Ireland 🇮🇪 👋🏼
I really enjoy your videos. And I appreciate that you built your entertainment center. I am looking to build mine as well. Love that woodworking stuff. Also I’m looking at the differences between projector and oled tv
I’ve been trying projectors lately and I love the concept but I can’t get them to center properly on the wall/screen and dealing with trying to setup a screen is painful. About about ready to give up on this experiment. One thing I did learn from this is I quickly got over the larger screen wow factor. I love the idea, just not convinced it’s worth the cost of a large TV or headaches of a projector for the size increase.
great great vid villaman, i enjoyed the jokes and the overall pace. that screen looks great too, love that frame. the table you built game me some good ideas! you are due 100k subs in short order
Once you go projector you can't go back. I bought a epson 2150. It is a 1080p projector but in my opinion it actually looks sharper than my 55 inch 4k tv. It's currently at 135 inch diagonal screen.
Yes you do, because image quality is complete garbage on a projector. Input lag is skyhigh, HDR is a joke, sucks during daytime there's simply tons of cons.
Villa every time when I start watching your video for your presence of clean shave and perfect t shirt with good base voice and perfect information about what u make
Well just to be clear 4k isn't the holy grail of resolution that some of you think. A good compairison would be like you said quality vs size. Scrap the 4k idea and do a 1000-1500$ projector with a 300$ 100" Elite B2 screen vs 65-80 LED tv. I'm pretty sure more people will consider the projector setup vs a TV. When I bought my setup I knew the picture quality wasn't going to be as good as my tv. But just having such a large image in front of you makes you forget about any downsides. I use my projector as a daily..i treat it like a tv using it for everything. The only downside realistically is bulb life.i got almost 3 years outta mine using it every day i put almost 6000hrs on it before the bulb went cost me $120 for a new bulb with the housing.and for me it's completley worth it. I'm running a budget setup that i would suggest people looking into if your looking for a big screen without the big price tag.keep in mind my stuff is a few years old. I'm running a 100" Elite screen B2 sable $270 on amazon a Optoma HD142X projector $650 on amazon Amer swivel ceiling mount $30 amazon and a 35$ 50ft bluerigger hdmi cord.. The picture is amazing for a projector,no regrets.nice sharp crisp 1080p pic,3D ready... And if you wanna get serious cheap projectors that will do up to a 300" picture. projectors have come along way and I believe they will be the future of home entertainment.
Salute on the good review. Keep up the good work. Just doing research for my new living room tv project. It will either go over the fireplace (that we don't use here in San Antonio) or on the huge wall space we have. I'm definitely interested on OLED or this particular ultra short throw projector. Wife right now is in the care/but not care phase so in the mean time, I'll just keep saving up the money lol.
You could probably get a lot better projector image for that price if you skip laser and ultra short throw. But of course you would need a dark room in that case
Great video. That projector seems woefully short on HDMI inputs, thus requiring a HT preamp or receiver. A UST projector with eARC and two more HDMI inputs will get my attention. Assembling the screen is easier than I envisioned!
Great video . Short throw is convenient but choices are limited with pricing in 4k high , but TVs 85 to 75 are in $ 3k to $6k range with technology changing & screen not adjustable like Projectors 100 to 150 screens are not a bargain. If paying over 2k go projector
Honestly, I'd stay with 85" QLED tv over a projector. I don't have gigantic room and that size is sufficient. Also what do you think about gaming experience or any content with 60fps+ ? HDR ?
Ya ....when I asked you what screen was behind you a few vids ago ..... I was sad to see how much it was. I was hoping 3k is ....but it's 6500 Canadian. 😕 ... I'll have too wait till next year.
For me I would want one that supports dolby vision, 120hz for gaming, hdmi 2.1, this seems like its going backwards not forward, but if you just into movies im sure its OK, I think hisense are working on one that does the above

Splitting the video to show dark lighting versus ambient lighting is genius. You just earned a subscriber.
Great editing. Real work went into it.
Agreed, I second that, it was superb.
I subbed as well for this side by side comparisons

I cannot believe you made your own TV stand from scratch, that's crazy, that's dedication. This year will be great for your channel.
Thank you! It was a labor of love... I like doing projects like that

Do you need to mount the screen on the stud or can it be mounted on the dry wall with anchors?

I absolutely love my C9 OLED but let’s face it, there’s just something really cool about these new projectors.

I got mine yesterday, samething you have.
That laser projector is crazy like future technology. Seriously the amount of tech in that box is alien grade.
I've got an LG C9 OLED and a BenQ HT3550. I love playing games on the OLED and watching movies on a big screen with the BenQ.
How's the black levels with the BenQ compared to the oled?
@@Buzza235 The BenQ black levels are not close to the OLED but they are fine with me. The OLED gets too dark sometimes though.
You just earned a sub from an OLED fanboy. Great video.
OLED slogan should be: "Once you go black, you never go back"
Zack Heffner this is so true! Since i have an OLED TV I can‘t even look at my iPad Pro anymore without thinking that it has one of the worst screens I‘ve ever seen which it obviously does not...
Once you go 130 inch laser, you never go back...
Zack Heffner OLED to other screen technologies: “You ain’t black.” Sorry, don’t mean to make it sound political. Can’t help but think of the phrase when looking at TV reviews. I’m still stuck on 2008 LCD tech.
@@totheknee How about: once you go 130 inch laser, you cant enjoy anything else later
Quality over quantity dude. Even 66 inch oled is already too big for me.
I have a 5.1 sony home theater...with 3 speakers connected to the bluray player come amp and another amp for the rear surrounds....now I want to make this system into a 5.2.4 Dolby setup....what is the best way to do it...btw the ones I have are the Sony BDV-N9200W
Awesome video. Thank for the day, night comparison
First HLG HDR Video I'm watching on my C7.
This is the best video I've seen!!! Thanks a mil my dude! 💪🏾🙌🏽
Wow look at the black level contrast
you need a reference in the image to really see the contrast. so he needs to run the OLED next to it ;)
I watched you in my old phone in Non HDR. Now I'm watching you in HDR in my new phone. Damn does this video look wonderful in HDR🔥
Congratulations on your projector. The large screen makes even ordinary content spectacular. You'll enjoy rediscovering your games and movie collection with the scale of the projected image -- also, there's simply a wow aesthetic (beyond simply being bigger) that's unique to a projected picture.
Gaming on it is slow though
You finally made the leap into the world of projectors
Yupppp. Feels good, man
This is how youtube videos should be.. Excellent man.
Dear
I really need your advice, which TV I should get for my Playstation 5 between these two options:
1. Samsung Q70T
2. Sony X9000H (No VRR)
thanks in advance
This is the cleanest UA-cam channel I have ever seen...lol .
My 2016 model lg has hdr on Netflix but not on the UA-cam app
I got a 2018 model now.and it has hdr feature on UA-cam
Did you hook up your surround sound with the ARC input or just the subwoofer?
Dramatic reading at the end 🤣🤣 great review thanks 😊
what do you recomend! rbh sv831r sv1212n or polk l800 legend tower, thanks
I just came across your channel searching for information about laser projectors; great presentation! Thank you :-) I'm about to upgrade to a third projector (previous two were ceiling mounted projectors). You have me stoked about a new laser projector.
What about those banding tracking upwards? Are they also visible through eyes or is it just on the camera?
Hey, my friend..
I love your 4k videos and you're a plethora of knowledge.
I currently own a Sony 55es long throw projector that shoots onto my vutec 120 inch screen.
My projector is going on 5yrs old and my screen is almost 8 yrs old.
I was injured a loooooongg time ago in a car accident which left me with a severed spinal cord. I'm a quadriplegic but I'm still enjoying life thanks to home theater and gaming. 😝😝
Like you I'm 6'4 and was to be drafted via baseball back in the day.
Please, I need your help!!!!👍👍😂😊😊
I love your videos and please keep up the great work!!
SUBBED
Brilliant video. Very well done sir.
Bigger is better but not at the expense of picture quality! Hopefully you like your new setup but it’d be an 85” TV for me
It is exciting you choose exactly this specific projector ... no hazzle with UHP lamps, no colour wheel, DCI-P3 with 97% coverage, 2700 ANSI lumen ... and last but not least LG's dynamic tone mapping technology (I really love it ... although it slightly modifies creators intent...means it is not 100% accurate ... but still realistic imho).
I bet you're glad you upgraded? This is lovely.
Hi The_VillaMan, Excellent video! Can you tell me how far your projector is sitting away from the wall with the screen, and height between the the shelf where the projector is sitting and bottom of the projector? Thank-you so much!
Great Chanel, looking for the instructional video for installing the LED lights you mentioned
A very well made video man!
Thank you!
With luxury to have an attic space above my media room, and easy access to install overhead projectors, are they better options (quality and cost wise) than shortthrow ?
What a fantastic video. Everything about it is spot on.
Do you recomend a tv bigger 58 inch samsung ru7100 vs a lg nanocell of 55 inch but with dolby vision?
I will not shake the house with my surround sound system! Ha! I love it
Whats the viewing distance do you suggest for this?
Thank you so much splitting the video so I could see the difference in going to subscribe! I want one one of those screens that's so cool!
Great video! And yes it's about the cinematic experience. No small TV can bring that experience.
Next time ya have a viewing party invite me over! I can’t afford my own laser projector, but I can bring popcorn and good bro-ship 😉🙃
Great video!
Can you also make a comparaison video between the OLED TV and the Projector image quality?
I would really love to see that! ^.^
OLED is much better, espeially in daytime but also in nighttime. A projector will never be as good. Laser or not. You pay for SIZE over QUALITY.
Always enjoyed your videos, thanks 👍
Thank you for the video I will be purchasing my screen next month... no more social distance outside 😝
I really enjoy your videos. And I appreciate that you built your entertainment center. I am looking to build mine as well. Love that woodworking stuff. Also I’m looking at the differences between projector and oled tv
Does the subwoofer shake the screen
I look forward to seeing your review of the latest BenQ 4k projector
I’ve been trying projectors lately and I love the concept but I can’t get them to center properly on the wall/screen and dealing with trying to setup a screen is painful. About about ready to give up on this experiment. One thing I did learn from this is I quickly got over the larger screen wow factor. I love the idea, just not convinced it’s worth the cost of a large TV or headaches of a projector for the size increase.
Is there a decent option if you cant make holes on your wall (renting)
Can this Projector Screen turn ANY Room into a Theater Room? VIVIDSTORM Motorized ALR UST Screen ua-cam.com/video/g_7_6lj0cT0/v-deo.html
Knowledge is power my friend well done
great great vid villaman, i enjoyed the jokes and the overall pace. that screen looks great too, love that frame. the table you built game me some good ideas! you are due 100k subs in short order
Your description totally sounds like me during my process thinking. Thanks for putting this together bro!
Villa every time when I start watching your video for your presence of clean shave and perfect t shirt with good base voice and perfect information about what u make
VillaMan next time: Well, I can’t seem to find a home with the living room size I want. Let’s build a home first....
You earned a subscriber 😄 Layman's got a outline of making their own home theatre
You could probably get a lot better projector image for that price if you skip laser and ultra short throw. But of course you would need a dark room in that case
True words.
I just bought 75 tv for $699. I bet price and quality (will improve) of such projectors will come down to in 10years
😁👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Cool Video!!! It whas informative, funny and well done. 👏👏👏
I love this video! Appreciate your hard work!
the t-shirt is fantastic 🤣🤣
Great video. That projector seems woefully short on HDMI inputs, thus requiring a HT preamp or receiver. A UST projector with eARC and two more HDMI inputs will get my attention. Assembling the screen is easier than I envisioned!
HDMI splitters exist - I use one for my PS4 and PS5. Works fine, passes through 4K60HDR
How do you not have more subscribers??? You are good.
🤷🏾♂️
just discovered your channel through this video.. you earned yourself a subscriber..
For me I would want one that supports dolby vision, 120hz for gaming, hdmi 2.1, this seems like its going backwards not forward, but if you just into movies im sure its OK, I think hisense are working on one that does the above
The future me edit was crazy! Great review and great video!
