Fantastic review of the Elunevision Aurora 8K ALR screen. Especially appreciated the unboxing and installation of the screen. FYI..short-throw laser projectors will continue to improve their gaming chops particularly input lag. Some sources are predicting the soon-to-be-announced UST laser projector(s) incorporating D-ILA microchips from JVC will a game-changers. Projections screens are very compelling value propositions for more immersive gaming and media content presentation in comparison to OLEDs and LEDs until the prices of larger screens come down by 25% -35%. @@scotttild well I just installed my SI solopro 2 100" slate .8 AT screen for my BenQ HT3550. So yes I plan to use the SI ST material for a UST LASER setup. But there are other more cost effective brands that make UST screens..

I have reviewed many ALR screens and they all look very similar but the one I am most impressed is from XY-screens krystal screen, is very sharp, colors look amazing, even standard throw projectors look great on that screen.
tbh after having a 77 large screen, its great for watching movies but for gaming, at least for pc gaming, after the novelty wears off, I still prefer to sit close and play on my ultrawide. Nothing beats watching movies on bigscreen but gaming is different.
Do you still have this screen? Definitely would like to see this on that JMGO U2 projector... also u think this screen and the GRANDVIEW PE-L100DY3(R2) DYNAMIQUE UST almost same quality?

Yes and I still have it, colors and blacks look amazing, is one of the best screens I have reviewed, Im working on 2 new projector videos and Im using that screen, stay tuned.

At a substantially lower price than what XY can offer, which is a clear indication of who produces what. Screen samples are indistinguishable and assembly videos show an identical screen and frame, with the same flaws as well.
Thanks for the great videos. This is a silly question but, the OLED TVs have fantastic picture quality, how does this screen or a (4k) screen with a lazer projector compares to an OLED TV quality? .... being realistic, I am sure there is a difference, but is the difference too big?

Although the picture in your video looks great, but I couldn't get an exact gauge to how sharp or color rich it would be compared to seeing it for myself. Hence, I used the OLED TV as a bench mark to see how would you rate the picture quality in that context. Is it too far off?

@Barrett Withers Depends on the viewing distance... But in the end it is down to quality vs. Quantity. I would love to have the same quality and flexibility my OLED offers on a 92" projection screen, but that seems hard to achieve. I will try ot out soon, maybe the compromise is worth it, but I am not convinced yet.

They are different type of screen options, you are comparing an Oled TV with a projector that can go up to 150" in size and can place it pretty much anywhere, the A9G goes up to 77", I want to see you carrying that TV by yourself.

As far as I can see it’s the same sceen but with an added LED strip, check the sample he put on the screen, identical image.
Looks good in the dark. I see it rejects up to 90% of ambient light. I need a little more rejecting than that for my setup.

Well Oled TVs have the deepest black levels and beautiful picture, projectors have great picture but the biggest advantage here is the size.
