This special projector screen from VividStorm screens greatly increase performance of the Ultra short throw laser projectors in daylight, and as well in dark room, bringing the visual experience of home cinema on the whole new level.

Thank you for doing a review and setup tour of the Xiaomi 4K Laser Projector and ALR Projection Screen. You have helped me discover amazing products I can use for a large visual entertainment studio.
Great demo! If only all demos were as good as this one. Thank you!
Came across your channel by accident but felt compelled to leave some feedback, firstly this particular video was very informative, factual, helpful, not to long. Secondly your overall style is very professional and comprehensive. Thanks.
Heres the prices everyone
120" screen $2300
Laser projector $2000
For the image size and quality in 4k, this is pretty cheap.
William Switzner laser projector is about 1400$ 。 sometime you can get it cheaper。
Well i did a service on a panasonic 100 inch plasma and the owner told me it costed him 15,000 bucks so yes ill take it
@@sirmi9868 but plasma is dead technology now and bigs tv were generally expensive back then, plasma has amazing picture quality but consumes a ton of power, for the price of this setup you can get nowadays 82" 4K Samsung QLED a that will have much better picture quality than this projector setup, not mention watching in the daytime without faded picture.
Thaaaanks.
That screen and projector combination intimidated me :D
"Better than at the cinema"
I m just about to buy my exact same set. But I ve never seen it together before. Due to you it s all clear now and I can buy it with confidence. Great content, great presentation. Thank you sooo much. :)))
Curious, did you end up getting this setup? Impressions, if so? I'm considering the VIVIDSTORM 120" screen, but pairing with the Optoma CinemaX P1.
I love the insights and depth of the information you have provided. One of the best reviews I've ever seen! Thanks!
That was a very good review. Hit every point with lots of info, great english and explanation. Super impressed with the review and also the screen of course.
Enjoyed the review!! Well made, and calm clear commentary is appreciated.
Raz Bakar this is not a review, look at the amount of affiliate links provided, just another sales video.
GREAT review. I have this screen arriving in a few days, so this review was great confirmation I had made the right choice. Thank you!!
TTBear2 and what's the verdict? Which PJ did you pair it with and which screen did you use in the past? Thx
@@brois841 Hmmmm. The screen surface is amazing. The lenticular technology works really, really well. Unfortunately, the Vividstorm mechanism is lacking in terms of quality - lots of issues, replacement screens (yes, plural). The screen material is identical to the Elite Screens Starbright CLR material (I ordered a sample to compare). I will wait for the Elite Screens floor riser - hopefully, the chassis is better made, although Vividstorm did say that they make screens FOR Elite Screens.....
I paired it with one of the new LG HU85LA projectors. After set up, the picture really is stunning. Unfortunately, because of a manufacturing defect in the Vividstorm screen, the upper support beam twisted, so the screen surface wasn't totally flat, making image adjusting very difficult.

I don’t ever comment on videos, but I must say your video is so precise and in-depth and clear. Excellent job.
Thank you so much!
Nice vid. I always like how you credit your wife. Very thoughtful of you!
No! We don’t credit our wifes in khazakhstan!
@@kamilmusalat what does it have to do with a comment?
I find this is the perfect size and sit range for the real 4K feeling.

@Marshmallow man ???
It's nice, you can still have other paitings or posters on the wall....
This vid came up in my recommended list. Glad it did. Very clear and concise demonstration. Screen and projector looks amazing.
Thank you so much for your comment.
Nicely done - very compact and a top notch quality - why would someone want a large mansion with 16 rooms ? I really like this guy's concept !!!
This is one of the best reviews I've seen.
This was an absolutely brilliant review. I wish more tech reviewers would take notice of your video. It was so thorough and informative also every detail you informed us about. You have a subscriber no doubt about it. Thanks
Completely agreed...👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
thanks for making the effort to bring something to youtube that we normally don't see. Very creative.
I'm glad you like the video :) Check the new video with drop down version of this screen here - ua-cam.com/video/eoijPqvg8oA/v-deo.html
As a builder, I would seriously consider installing this in the floor with an automated opening.
Excellent vid by BTW.
That is what I was thinking. Place it on the floor by itself is an eyesore.
Build it into a cabinet with the projector. In fact, design it, build it and sell me one...
That looks amazing! The colors are so vivid! What a huge difference between just the wall and that screen!
And then you realize you're watching this on your own 140 inch screen with just an Optoma HD142X 1080p home theater projector.
140 inch screen from Amazon- $150
Optoma HD142X Home Theater Projector from Best Buy- $560
Keep in mind that everything on TV and 95% of the internet is only 1080p or even 720p unless it says 4K
Absolutely the best product review I have seen on UA-cam!!!!.....GREAT JOB!!!!....THANK YOU!!!😊😊

Amazing video. Love it. Slightly dimmed image during daylight but I'm very impressed. Better suited for basements I guess.
Came for information about the projector screen, stayed for the lovely living room you have 🥰
This is the way to go for a larger view. Looking forward for it.
One of the best and thoroughly explained review ever!
Thank you.
Thank you so much for your comment!
Dude Thanks for this video.no bullshit straight to the point , great quality.
mind-blowing, talking about technology!!
Thank you so much for such a thorough review of this screen! Now I just have to save up enough money to purchase it.
I am not even interested in the projector or the screen, but you did such a good job explaining it and all the details that matter that I watched it anyway. Good Job.
Thank you so much!
Amazing. One of the best screen reviews i've ever seen. Would have subscribed but this doesn't seem to be the type of content you usually create.

Great review brother I really appreciate it.
How much does this cost ?
This is my first video from you i watched. I have to say that you are covering the topic really well without stupid stuff, also you have calm voice. Keep it up
Thank you so much for your comment my dear friend! I wish you all the best.

Excellent video with clear explanations. One of the best. Thank you!!
very nice overview of this screen I think ill get it once I save up a bit more money
Thanks for sharing!.. My next projector will be this setup!
Nice work champion. I just went and bought the screen AND projector after initially watching your review and doing further research.
Cheers mate. Keep up the reviews!
Awesome man! Hope you will have a great time with your new setup. Thank you for your comment and wish you all the best in new 2021!
@@NexiTech Cheers mate! I'll be sure to send you a pic of my setup ;)
This is awesome product. I have purchased one for my bedroom 🎉
Excellent video and nice setup!
Though I can't afford this $2300 screen, this demo did teach me a new lesson : light grey screen gives better contrast compared to pure white screen.
This is very hot! Especially since it comes in smaller sizes too. Pretty cool for a wall with paintings or other wall mounted stuff that you don't want to show your big TV all the time, I consider this too for a bigger apartment in the future :)
Great video. Watching stuff on that huge screen must be brilliant.Well done.
Can we use the xiaomi for edge blending projection?
The screen is beautiful but expensive, more expensive than my projector of 2K.
Really really superb and impressive! Sadly i cant afford so ill just put off all lights and roll down the shades and use my uc46 projecting on my yellowish wall. But you showed a really great product and really good video. 😊
Saludos desde Perú, vi tu primer video y me quedé encantado, espero tener uno de estos están geniales
I cannot imagine this with a Dolby Atmos system. I could remain at home for any pandemic.
I have a high quality old 720p projector and i love it. 4k still a dream but as i am going to actual cinema often i don't feel urged to upgrade
I'm glad you like the video :) Check the new video with drop down version of this screen here - ua-cam.com/video/eoijPqvg8oA/v-deo.html
i use this for keeping the sun out of my house
I use this for keeping the sun off of my planet.
I use this to keep $2000.00 out of my pocket.
Do you mean the screen is opaque and will not be affected when playing the projector during the day?
I use curtains. Cheaper.
You better live in a cave 🤣🤣🤣
I love it! I want one so bad but the motorize functionality makes me want to integrate it into an entertainment system with a TV. So you can toggle between the two. I can't imagine a good way to have table+TV+projector+screen.
That was fantastic, thank you very much!
Very nice setup.
All you need now is to build the projector into the floor 😂. Looking forward to that video 😅👌🏻
Damn thats dope I need to win a lottery quick
Same here
You need to win the lottery to get $4K?
And if you hang a fixed screen instead of a automatic rising screen it's even less. Maybe $3K
Amazing review. Other tech reviewers should take note. Most of the time you see them more than what they're reviewing!
the difference for with and without screen in daylight and with light on is great.
Will it work upside down? I mean mount it on ceiling and roll it down. The logic behind is that people should not trip on it and damage it or injure themselves. The screen is impressive, thumbs up for it.
yes but not the same while using with ambient ligth from above I guess, maybe , I also would like to know if its easy to flip the fabric from the mechanism
Vividstorm now sells ceiling drop down projector screens with this special fabric, check the video description for more info.
01:50 Best part of the video
You sick fuck
Camel toe 👍😂
Great review. Covered everything potential purchasers would need to know. Thanks
Thank so much for you comment.
Loved your way of description, amazing
Thank you so much
I’ll be glad when these are less than $1,000 on amazon
Great video NexiTech, I have the same setup but with the VAVA 4k laser projector and the 100" screen and it looks amazing.
Hi what is the price for 100" ? and where can I buy it ? Thanks
@@dinonsdemain4516 its $1800 dlls, the links are in the description of the video.
LOL, your reviews videos are virtually identical. Same script?
@@propellerhead2000 Its a projector screen, we don't need a script to talk about a screen, we share our experiences.

Impressed!
Excellent review. would have loved to see them on and off at night too, to see if there is any reduction on reflection on sidewalls.
awesome presentation of those items lets see , I love the screen but I already got wired for projector
IMO a big part of having a projector is to have an acoustically transparent screen. Having the center speaker behind the screen recreates the theater in your house.
It's been a year you wrote the message, but...
I'm about to start setting up my theater room (the projector is already in hands) and your comment is simply greatly valuable.
I've never thought of that :P
Thank you very much
Absolutely 100% perfect video. I never comment on youtube but had to concratulate you on your great job. Keep on going! Plus now I am almost certain i want to add this setup to my homecinema it's absolute perfect stunning!
REQUEST: If possible test the Wemax A300 on this screen and even better another video with a comparison between the xiaomi 4k and the wemax 4k.
QUESTION: Do you think the XGIMI Lune 4k beats the Xiaomi 4k?
EDIT: This screen is priced @ $2300 ex shipping, that's way to much for this screen sadly.
So I have nearly the same cabinet where my Fengmi 4k is setup on, will the screen then come high enough if the cabinet is in front of the Projector screen?? And does this give as good quality screen image as a fixed screen??
How far away from screen surface you need to put the front of the projector to get a 150" screen? If you put the back of the projector 50 cm from the screen how big image do you get then?
very nice. I didn't even know something like this was out there.
Thanks, check the drop down version: ua-cam.com/video/eoijPqvg8oA/v-deo.html
I've had one of these for a year now and it's been great, it mow appears to have dust on the inside of the lense and I can't find any cleaning guides for it all, have you found any? Cheers
Usually on the underside of projectors where the information label is ,there is a flap held on by a screw, this gives access to the inside of the projector and you can blow compressed air onto the prism / lens to remove dust.
Need a second hand
'with a help of my lovely wife' aww so sweet! and what and amazing content. must be expensive tho its great quality
Very very nice review. Enjoyed watching and learned alot. You dont talk to much i like that!! Crazy screen!
Glad you enjoyed! Thank you so much for your comment!
visual video, well showed the difference between the screens, thank you !
Glad it was helpful!
Any recommendations on similar screens for bright rooms that I can put speakers behind? Your videos are great! Very informative and well done. Thanks!
Has there been any issues with the fabric? Has motorized case caused creases to the fabric in the long run?
Not at all, I'm trying to keep the fabric as clean as possible and before I fold it back I always check where is the cat before I press the button on the remote :)
Cool, cool.
Personally for this price (4-5k+) would just buy an 82" QLED/OLED TV. TVs in that price range have built in Dolby Atmos etc. You just can't compete.
great review! Thank you!
Is it possible to hang the screen on the ceiling and scroll downwards when needed?
it's funny how, i'll watch a bunch of 100million dollar LA mansion or New York penthouse videos and 90% of them have a joke of a entertainment room. Then i'll come across a vid like this with an amazing entertainment system in a $100k home. lol.
Oh my god!!awesome i want buy it now!
Great video, echoing another commentor...other UA-camrs should take notes. Precise and gave A/B comparisons
Some xbox or ps4 gameplay footage would be nice to see with this set up
