wax wings is something almost supernatural. that note Spencer hits around the 6 minute mark almost broke my heart upon 1st listen.
Zagreus deserves to be in the convo too then but veryyyy fair.

This album came out a day before my dog was put down, this was one of the songs I listened to the last day I walked her before the vet came to our house. This whole album has helped me immensely through the grieving process these past few months. Thank you Periphery.

2:05 I love how the first round of the chorus has the dissonant chromatic chords, and then the second round takes em out and just asserts the sweet pop chorus.

May be over exaggeration but 2:43-3:12 might be one of the prettiest sections the bands ever written. The riff and vocal delivery are incredible.

Every time y'all release a new album, I become obsessed. This is the only thing I've been listening to for like the past 2 months now. And this is my favorite track! I wish I could adopt you all, I've never fangirled over a band as long and hard as I have you guys, going on over a decade now, and i hope that never changes. You're my favorite band, everything from the music, heavy, melodic, Spencer's range and lyrical placement and catchy chorus, ugh I love y'all. And on top of that, you're all extremely sexy jsyk. ❤

in one of my darkest moments I heard this tune, and in the end when they sing the choir the part where you can hear they several people (choir) singing take space coz your not alone and on unknown roads your heart is open holy shit man I ended on tears it's fucking amazing the honesty that they put on this track and on their music in general no need to follow musical formulas or industry hacks this guys take out the middle man and go for what they want love them so much !
This was my favorite track on the album, and is quickly growing to become my favorite Periphery song over Satellites. This was one of two songs on the record that actually got me tearing up; the other was Thanks Nobuo. Periphery’s heavy, sludgy stuff is great, but these ballad-like tracks are just incredible!
Yes! This one, satellites, jetpacks was yes, second half of luck as a constant, and such are all beautiful songs.
Yoooooooo, I feel absolutely the same! This, Nobuo, Satellites, It's Only Smiles, and a few others that really aren't "djenty" like the heavy stuff, I gravitate REAL HARD towards these tracks! they're so musically and emotionally driven!!

This song is absolutely amazing. Quite frankly it is helping heal my heart. Every now and then you come across a song that pulls you in and engulfs you in a wave of emotion and comforts you in a warm embrace.
Aside from that, these guys have grown SO much as songwriters. These chords and feels are gorgeous.
This track and Dracul Gras put this album on Juggernaut Omega levels of mind-blowing for me.

Holy crap, they made it into a song! I remember really liking this demo Misha made with one of the GGD groove packs, the chorus melody is gorgeous. Much fun listening to this new spin on it, and Spencer's vocals just make it so much richer. Had a smile on my face throughout the whole thing, thank you for the amazing music you guys create!

Misha is very good friend with Elliot, they even have a project together (OMNOM) and are about to make an album together. Periphery are also friends with the other members of Good Tiger since the The Safety Fire days.

I'm holding it in man, this one is a doozy. Knowing Matt played on a much smaller kit for this record, I'm astounded at this song. It's just MASSIVE with every new wave of the chorus. They really said "phuck song structure" with this album and with this song they just hand you the best vocal melody several times with more and more epic music behind it. Standout track for sure!
