My best friend and I both got a Tesseract tattoo with the last release "Sonder" in 2018. We shared our entire youth, more than 13 years, so we decided to do this. But so much has happened in the meantime. Covid, moving to another city, starting a family... today we have different attitudes to life. The contact became less and as of today we have had virtually no contact for more than one year. We lived apart. Sometimes it hurts. And it especially hurts when Tesseract makes such a strong song that reminds me of the times before the changes. I still love him and wish him all the best for his future life ❤

But wow, this track made me feel like I was there in an unstable craft, careening into tumultuous, unknown, terrifying wonder. Controlled patience
I bind you
Now you believe in nothing
I bind you
Now you believe in nothing
In my dreams I was innocent
My skin unbroken, eyes open
On a distant sphere
Before these walls surrounded me
Made me disappear
Thrown into the grey
In the ruins I remain
Lead me home
From the only world I've ever known
And branded heathen
I have lost the battle on both sides
Lead me home into the sun
I've been dreaming
Anxious to the core
I don't want to feel this way
Same as yesterday
Please lead me home

The falsetto in the first minute made me chuckle. That's also how I be piloting vehicles. But wow, this track made me feel like I was there in an unstable craft, careening into tumultuous, unknown, terrifying wonder. The ship my identity, the turbulence my shaky pull away from the dogma of my youth. Attempting to explore the different and the unusual without judgement.
I can't believe this 🤯
They just keep getting better. It's actually personally inspiring.
Acle being an absolute GOAT with the song production and amazing riffs on this one 💪
metal song of the decade probably, unbelievable
The vocals on this album are next level
if, somehow, portals and war of being didn’t cement it for you, this song solidifies Dan as the best singer tesseract have ever had
If i were Tesseract i'd be stressing about how exactly the sheer quality of thus album can be suppassed
Omg Daniel that vocals are so explosives 😗😗😗😗🦾
I'm ready and I'm already in love with The Martian, Interstellar, 2001 and Alice in Chains' Hollow vibes in the teaser.
Your music has literally saved my life. I hope you know that. ❤
The climax toward the end of the song is unbelievable on all fronts (vocally and instrumentally). I legit sobbed listening to it. And the nod to Mirror Image is such a nice touch here as well. Incredible work to all involved, seriously.
we know songs based on riff, on solo, on drums, on bass.. but! this is the voice solo song! long time. we missed so much! Daniel - you are perfect singer!
Another masterpiece! Also, love the lyrical tie-in with Legion and Mirror Image having the lines, “I’ve been dreaming… Anxious to the core…”
“I’ve been dreaming
Anxious to the core
I don’t want to feel this way
Same as yesterday”
Every time I hear that line I get chills. Hits me so hard.
One of the best vocalists I’ve heard in a long time. Fuck me dead.
This is the song I was trying to write 20 years ago and just didn't have the talent to make it happen. Fucking incredible.
this is, unequivocally, the best song you guys have ever made. Dan, what a fucking performance man.
Thank you Tesseract. You make my life slightly better.
this might be the ship/pilot that eventually crash lands on the planet in the war of being game
This is absolutely breathtaking.
One of the best performances by Daniel! Soooo expressive! Awesomeeee!
Just saw Tesseract performing at Taipei last week, live version of Legion was dope!!
Daniel is a BEAST! This is pure emotion. One of the songs of the year for sure. Amazing!
Best Voice Ever.
Can't. Stop. Listening. Send. Help.
That drum roll and vocal range is insane. Just heard this for the first time today on Octane. Amazing is all I can say.
Daniel is a beast but I can't get tired of the heavens work being done by Amos, specially in the 0:53 when he changes the note being played. It gives me massive goosebumps everytime I hear it.
I have a million words I could say about how amazing this band is. But after seeing this, nothing can express how much love I have for this band.
They are constantly pushing their boundaries in musicality.
They are always writing every song as if it's their last.
❤
That Please lead me home at the end is crazy good man
I realised after Dan's performance with Earthside that we might be dealing with one of the greatest vocalists of our time, and this confirms it. Bravo, sir.
Dan's vocals have just gone up to the next dimension on this album, man. Holy shit, what a masterpiece. I can't stop listening to it.
The fact that this didn't win awards for video or the album is a shame on all award things... I can't describe how much this video and song kick ass
Saw this at the album preview event and I've been counting down the hours until I could see it again, unreal track and video
Is it another return to the djent days???
