What do you think about these names and types, dude.
Love the designs! I'm too stupid to come up with creative names, since that is the thing I mostly struggle with in my Fakemon creations, but for the types I think it's a no brainer. For the new Loyal Three the types would obviously take on Poison as primary, with the secondary types being the Beast's old types (Electric, Fire, Water), and as for the new Legendary Beasts I think they fit their usual types well with Poison being excluded, so we'd have mono Fighting, mono Psychic and mono Fairy.
Okidogi=Okimaj (oki-majesty) a grass steel type. Monkidori=Monkikai (monki-Kai) Kai coming from the Japanese word for ocean, a water fighting type. Phezendepiti=pheasijim (pheasant-jimen(Japanese word for ground)) a Ground Fairy type. Raikou=Amedeo (Ame-doku (Japanese for poison rain)) A electric poison type. Entei=Karusu (kage-uirusu(Japanese for shadow-virus)) a Dark Poison type Suicune= Mizbyo (mizumi-byoki (Japanese for lake-ill or illness) a water poison type.
I think turning the Legendary Beasts into Pokemon connected to Pecharunt would have worked a tad better if they were given different desires to their transformations. Maybe relating it back to their type. Like Entei wishing for courage, that has some associations with fire in my mind.
For Okidogi how about Eihiko from Eihei meaning Sentinel and iko from Hachikō the Japanese dog that waiting for his owner at the train station until he passed. It can be a steel fighting type.
Besides Sun Wukong, in the JTTW universe, there are 3 other primates who are (kinda) on the same level as Wukong. The most notable one besides our man Wukong is the Six-earred Macaque. You fakemon designers should start milking these inspirations
My only criticism is I would have given the Entei one bigger fur on his back giving him a more hunched appearance, to match the Tibetan Mastif inspiration and look more like a bull. I think it would make him look a lot more intimidating and give off a more "strong" vibe.
Okidogi- Akainu Monkidori- Kizaru Fexandipiti- Aokiji 😂 but seriously, I’m going to use the naming pattern as one piece and call them: Midorinu, Aosaru, and Akakiji
I'm sure its already been said, but: Entei = En (Flame) tei (Emperor) Raikou = Rai (Lightning) ko (Lord) Suicune = Sui (Water) kun (Monarch) I vaguely knew the former because the trio in the Spaceworld demo were just En, Rai and Sui and that trivia was shared by various sources (This would put them in line with the legendary birds, named "Fire" "Thunder" and "Freezer" respectively in Japan). So if you had to name the Loyal Three like the beasts, you could potentially combine their attributes with synonyms for emperors in Japanese. Maybe something like • Okidogi - Chikarou • Munkidori - Kashiomo • Fezendipity - Bibokogo I'm sure people could come up with better for those, I just ran a few words threw Google Translate.
I was just thinking about this theory! I think one was Poochyena, especially since it is found in Kitakami alongside a bunch of stronger pokemon like the Conkeldurr line and the Houndoom line. I bet it saw even the strongest of it's species be taken down easily in battle and wanted to be stronger, so it became Okidogi! I think the Pidove line would make sense, since Fezandipiti and Unpheasant look very similar. Unfortunately, Pidove isn't in Kitikami. You know who is though? Mandibuzz, the ugly Pokemon, who is based on a buzzard! All of its Pokedex entries talk about it trying to make itself look pretty and it even looks like it's wearing mascara too! Plus, Mandibuzz and Fezandipiti both have multicolored wings and similar eye patterns! Finally, the Slakoth line is in Kitikami, and makes perfect sense. I think it is probably a Vigoroth more specifically, though since the hair and body shape match more closely with Monkidori. Vigoroth probably saw how lazy all of its relatives were, including the slakoths and slakings, and wanted to be intelligent to be different than them! Great video!
I want to imagine the evil entei would have the ability to summon a red chain ball that's connected to the cuff of it's leg and uses it as some form of flail.
I'll take a stab at names and types for fun. I want to keep the Loyal trios types but lose the poison. I also want to keep the original legendary dog naming convention of naming them after their type in Japanese (Sui = water, En = fire, Rai = lightning) As a result, Okidogi becomes a pure fighting type named Bonken (ken = fist and Banken means "guard dog" in Japanese so double pun. Also Bonk), Munkidori becomes the pure psychic Kanshin (shin = heart/spirit and kanshi'in means "watchman"), and Fezandipiti becomes the pure fairy Keisei (sei from yosei = fairy and "ke'ei means "guard/escort". Yes, I know this one's a stretch. It's difficult to do anything with fairy). Given the theming of their names, the trio became the roaming protectors of Johto after being revived, doing everything they can to save others from the same fate that would have befallen them had Ho'oh not brought them back.
I think the real reassson people like Fezundipiti more than the othersss isss becaussse while Buff Doge and Megamind are cool and all, you jussst can’t beat FEMBOYSSS!
The redesigned Kitakami Three could also work as new forms if Ogerpon actually _gave_ them the mask, in an AU where they never met Pecharunt/the _actual_ poison chain responsible for turning them into heels/Kieran aggro episode. Pecharunt's non-existent backstory still doesn't add up with the three. It all feels like a grand excuse just so Kieran can turn "good" again and everyone can do the stupid Yo-Kai Watch mochi dance. 🍑 🍑 🍑 But back on topic: Okidogi - Fighting/Rock Munkidori - Psychic/Water Fezandipiti - Fairy/Fire
The Ho-oh revived Lousy three types…I’d change the poison typings to something else while keeping their secondary types (Grass, Water, and Electric in that order) And the retainerfied Legendary beasts, throw Poison primary type with the original types as secondary and call it a day. XD
the toxic chain versions of the legendary cats are spot on, the loyal 3 aren't edgy and epic, they're silly and goofy because they're supposed to look like kid's cartoon henchment! they're like the goons from pretty cure or doronjo's lackeys from yatterman! the ho-oh versions of the lousy 3 are cool, but they dont feel like really suit the prompt, they should have some gemetric desigsn taht evoke their element, and a metalic mask/crown like the cats have. the cats' names are derived from the kanji associated with their element (En for blazing, Rai for thunder, and Sui for water) so i'd suggest something with Sen (meaning fight or wat) for okidogi, Shin or Sho (meaning mind/spirit) for munkidori, and Ma (meaning magic) for phesendipity
If the ledgendary beasts were turned into the lousy/loyal three then they would probably keep their typing and add poison type, idk about the lousy/loyal three to ledgendary beasts tho
psychic water or fire for munkidori fighting ground for okidogi and fairy flying for fezandipity and for the original beast just take their types and add poison to it. also, the new trio names are the legendary 3 for the new ho-oh trio and for the new lousy three given to pecharunt would be the lousy beast.
For Fezandipiti it can become a fire/fairy type as I want to keep 1 of the original types but if you don't want fairy fire/flying then. For the name Ikikasan from Basan a mythical bird and Ikikaeru japanese for "come back to life"
One thing I think people forget when trying to argue that the Pokemon who were resurrected from the burned tower weren't eeveelutions is that the mainline games and the anime have two separate canons. Yes, Ash did appear in Masters EX, but that spin-off acts as a massive "what if" scenario, and the only thing specifically canon in those are the deeper individual character traits, like the Sun and Moon protagonists often spacing out.
I have type ideas and names so... I hope you will pick my ideas... But if they aren't good then im not forcing or anything like that 👍 Okidogi - Fighting, normal (Shibogi) Munkidori - Water, dark (Munkdrill) Fezandipiti - Flying, fire (Phozan) Suicune - Poison, electric (Cunards) Entei - Poison, fire (Teion) Raikou - Poison, water (Raiger)
I think the Ho-Oh/Loyal Three all look like they have a stormy aspect. The Ogidogi one has the purple-cloud looking fur on the sides, and, the green beads scream “GRASS!” at my face. I think the Ogidogi one should be Electric/Grass type. The Munkidori has cloudy/stormy looking fur. It was hard to choose a secondary type, but I landed on Water because of the little symbol at the top, storms come with rain, and it’s underskin? I have no clue what to call it, but it’s blue/indigo. I think the Munkidori one should be Electric/Water type. The Fezendipiti one was FAR easier to choose a type for. The pink whisps on the face and it’s elegant style make me think Fairy type. Then, the yellow tail thing? Electric type. I think the Fezendipiti one should be Electric/Fairy. The Pecharunt/Legendary Dogs have to all be Poison type. The secondary types were equally easy to choose. Electric, Fire, and Water. If you dissagree, that is fine with me. Reply to tell me if you have any suggestions for changes.

The Loyal 3 are now: Okidogi is now Okamogi as a Grass Type, Munkidori is now Kasukong as Psychic Type, & Fezandipiti is now Peniji (Phoenix & Pheasant) as a Fairy & The 3 Retainers are now: Raikou is now Awestied (Awesome & tired) as a Poison/Dark Type, Entei is now Liosweet (Lying Around & Sweet) as a Poison/
Psychic Type & Suicune is now Suiardea (Lethargy & Sweetpea) as a Poison/Ice Type. What do you think about these names and types, dude.
7:34 three more members to make a “””loyal””” six would be cool, but what would the pun names be?
Love the designs! I'm too stupid to come up with creative names, since that is the thing I mostly struggle with in my Fakemon creations, but for the types I think it's a no brainer. For the new Loyal Three the types would obviously take on Poison as primary, with the secondary types being the Beast's old types (Electric, Fire, Water), and as for the new Legendary Beasts I think they fit their usual types well with Poison being excluded, so we'd have mono Fighting, mono Psychic and mono Fairy.
Interesting redesigns of Oki Doki, Hunky Dori and Serendipity.
Okidogi=Okimaj (oki-majesty) a grass steel type.
Monkidori=Monkikai (monki-Kai) Kai coming from the Japanese word for ocean, a water fighting type. Phezendepiti=pheasijim (pheasant-jimen(Japanese word for ground)) a Ground Fairy type.
Raikou=Amedeo (Ame-doku (Japanese for poison rain)) A electric poison type.
Entei=Karusu (kage-uirusu(Japanese for shadow-virus)) a Dark Poison type
Suicune= Mizbyo (mizumi-byoki (Japanese for lake-ill or illness) a water poison type.
I love the loyal three, for their silly designs, I love silly looking Pokemon, I love raikou in this video
I think turning the Legendary Beasts into Pokemon connected to Pecharunt would have worked a tad better if they were given different desires to their transformations. Maybe relating it back to their type. Like Entei wishing for courage, that has some associations with fire in my mind.
Could tie it in with a Wizard of Oz reference, if the other two are looking for intelligence and emotion.
2:16 the king ghidora meme never fail to make me laugh🤣
For Okidogi how about Eihiko from Eihei meaning Sentinel and iko from Hachikō the Japanese dog that waiting for his owner at the train station until he passed.
It can be a steel fighting type.
Besides Sun Wukong, in the JTTW universe, there are 3 other primates who are (kinda) on the same level as Wukong. The most notable one besides our man Wukong is the Six-earred Macaque. You fakemon designers should start milking these inspirations
Wasn't expecting an Okami mention. Love that game. Wish they'd make a third game.
That Munkidori redesign is so good
My only criticism is I would have given the Entei one bigger fur on his back giving him a more hunched appearance, to match the Tibetan Mastif inspiration and look more like a bull. I think it would make him look a lot more intimidating and give off a more "strong" vibe.
My boy Suicune got shafted with beauty. It would totally go for smarts.
Okidogi- Akainu
Monkidori- Kizaru
Fexandipiti- Aokiji
😂 but seriously, I’m going to use the naming pattern as one piece and call them: Midorinu, Aosaru, and Akakiji
Ooh, what a creative idea!
How did you improve so much as an artist so fast?!
I'm sure its already been said, but:
Entei = En (Flame) tei (Emperor)
Raikou = Rai (Lightning) ko (Lord)
Suicune = Sui (Water) kun (Monarch)
I vaguely knew the former because the trio in the Spaceworld demo were just En, Rai and Sui and that trivia was shared by various sources (This would put them in line with the legendary birds, named "Fire" "Thunder" and "Freezer" respectively in Japan).
So if you had to name the Loyal Three like the beasts, you could potentially combine their attributes with synonyms for emperors in Japanese. Maybe something like
• Okidogi - Chikarou
• Munkidori - Kashiomo
• Fezendipity - Bibokogo
I'm sure people could come up with better for those, I just ran a few words threw Google Translate.
I love your design of the new Okidogi. Better than the official one by miles in my opinion
I want to imagine the evil entei would have the ability to summon a red chain ball that's connected to the cuff of it's leg and uses it as some form of flail.
Ooooooh i love this so frikin much
such a cool concept
Lousy Beasts; Felifine (Feelin’ Fine), Mastifthanks (Massive thanks), and Leooknice (Ya look nice)
Legendary Three; Tanida (Valley leader), Yamaomo (Mountain Lord), and Soroji (Sky prince)
Nice video
I'll take a stab at names and types for fun.
I want to keep the Loyal trios types but lose the poison. I also want to keep the original legendary dog naming convention of naming them after their type in Japanese (Sui = water, En = fire, Rai = lightning)
As a result, Okidogi becomes a pure fighting type named Bonken (ken = fist and Banken means "guard dog" in Japanese so double pun.
Legends Ho oh needs to show us which 3 Pokémon became the legendary dogs trio.
The legendary beasts have kanji in their names that relate to their types so I think sticking with for the alternate Loyal Three should work.
god these arts are so good
I would use the past versions of the legendary beast as a starting point for what if pecherunt found them
for Phezandipiti: Pherantlord, the Marriage Pokemon. Fairy/Flying and we could make it the Hera to Rayquaza's Zeus
Sarusui for the monkey. Just means water monkey
But back on topic:
Okidogi - Fighting/Rock
Munkidori - Psychic/Water
Fezandipiti - Fairy/Fire
For okidogi i would name him Dogami. Like dog, ami (friend in french) and Okami
For monkedori i could say "Wuking"
For faizandipity, perhaps Feazemp
Like fea and emperor
What about for Raikou, Entei, and Suicune they can be called Raichous, Enthieralle, and Suipendous for Righteous, Enthralled, and Stupendous 🤷🏻♂️
The Ho-oh revived Lousy three types…I’d change the poison typings to something else while keeping their secondary types (Grass, Water, and Electric in that order)
And the retainerfied Legendary beasts, throw Poison primary type with the original types as secondary and call it a day. XD
the toxic chain versions of the legendary cats are spot on, the loyal 3 aren't edgy and epic, they're silly and goofy because they're supposed to look like kid's cartoon henchment! they're like the goons from pretty cure or doronjo's lackeys from yatterman!
the ho-oh versions of the lousy 3 are cool, but they dont feel like really suit the prompt, they should have some gemetric desigsn taht evoke their element, and a metalic mask/crown like the cats have. the cats' names are derived from the kanji associated with their element (En for blazing, Rai for thunder, and Sui for water) so i'd suggest something with Sen (meaning fight or wat) for okidogi, Shin or Sho (meaning mind/spirit) for munkidori, and Ma (meaning magic) for phesendipity
If the ledgendary beasts were turned into the lousy/loyal three then they would probably keep their typing and add poison type, idk about the lousy/loyal three to ledgendary beasts tho
cool concept
Bro I swear every fan made monkey Pokémon is inspired by sun woo kong like what aspect of sun woo Kong inspired this one
psychic water or fire for munkidori fighting ground for okidogi and fairy flying for fezandipity and for the original beast just take their types and add poison to it. also, the new trio names are the legendary 3 for the new ho-oh trio and for the new lousy three given to pecharunt would be the lousy beast.
for types i imaginge stripping the poison type from the lousy three and giving it to the beasts
though munkidori gives me ghost vibes
Suicune looks to me more like a Wolf than a Leopard...
For Fezandipiti it can become a fire/fairy type as I want to keep 1 of the original types but if you don't want fairy fire/flying then.
For the name Ikikasan from Basan a mythical bird and Ikikaeru japanese for "come back to life"
You said we don’t know what the legendary beasts looked like before Ho-Oh. Isn’t that what Walking Wake, Raging Bolt, and Gouging Fire are? lol.
There’s a theory where the 3 pokemon that had died in the burning tower were flareon,Jolteon and, vaporeon which were revived in the tower
They'd probably just be there original types with poison added or removed
I have type ideas and names so... I hope you will pick my ideas... But if they aren't good then im not forcing or anything like that 👍
Okidogi - Fighting, normal
(Shibogi)
Munkidori - Water, dark
(Munkdrill)
Fezandipiti - Flying, fire
(Phozan)
Suicune - Poison, electric
(Cunards)
Entei - Poison, fire
(Teion)
Raikou - Poison, water
(Raiger)
The ho-oh monkey is SO COOL
