Omg!!!! Your vlog is going to explode once everyone will find about you. No need to compare to your fellow Koreana vloggers there. Everyone is unique!!
I'm new to this channel and I love the energy. I have Korean brother in-law but he's not as open minded as you particularly when it comes to Filipino food. Thank you.
Agree with the price of 10000 you can find good ones, I think she can also invest a transpo like a car because she's very adventurous and very accessible traffic nga lang.
Studio apartment in my aunt is only 10,000 pesos and two bedrooms is only 15,000 pesos with free use of ac , induction stove , refrigerator and washing machine 😊
Your tagalog is getting better and better! Quite impressive! staying here for a while, helps. but yeah totally agree with you the cost of living here is not that cheap along with the inflation it makes it harder for a minimum wage earner everything is expensive nowadays, seems like you can adapt to this kind environment, and i have no idea that you're frugal that's a good thing actually, don't worry you will find a place better than that where you can have your own
i just saw your recent vlog the other day and I liked how genuine your reaction is so I started subscribing.. hope you find more good food here in the Philippines
How come I did not find your channel sooner? The best contents so far! I loved how you engage with the locals! Rent usually is higher in Metro Manila compared to the neighboring cities/provinces, but with the current traffic in the metro, that might be your best option. Might be seeing you around might say hi! Keep safe!
Hello. Thank you so much for your sweet comment!! yes, I guess Metro Manila is more expensive than other area.. :( hopefully I can get a job somewhere else in the future haha
Hello Jang. That boarding house is expensive. Go and find another place. There are so many good places there where you can have all the amenities and privacy at the same price. Good luck. ❤
6:00 it's a chicken curry cooked in coconut milk and little turmeric. While the kare-kare is different it's a beef stew cooked in ground peanut and partner with shrimp sauce or bagoong.
Housing really depends on location, I'm in Iloilo and we can find an apartment here for $100. That's a spacious solo room with AC and my own bathroom. If I include utilities (water, electricity, internet) then it runs around $150. A condo in a high rise building in my city will range anywhere from $400-$600 but that's already furnished and they have good amenities.
If you want an easy and healthy food, just buy canned tuna, lettuce, eggs and mayonnaise in the grocery. Cook and boil some eggs and stock it in the ref. Then for the sides, buy some fruits in season, tomatoes and cucumber in the supermarket.
In Makati CBD, you can get a studio at about 35-40 Sqm. for $400. That is considered cheap in the area for obvious reasons, it is the second most developed area in the country (BGC is probably the most developed). But in spite of Makati being very developed, it still has a lot of cheap food if that is your jam, they call the Karinderia's there as "Jolly jeep". The area is very international plus you get both high end and entry level items all in the same area. You also have nice public parks and the place is just cleaner compared to most areas in Metro Manila. You have every conveniences available to you and safety and security is top notch. One of the few places where you can walk around or jog even at midnight without worry of getting mugged.
You're very adventurous and have a good palate of taste, you can definitely going to be big someday with this kind of vlogs enjoy and don't get pressured from other especially in the comment sec and DM.
The one with glass noodle "Sotanghon" is one of my favorite and you are right it taste better with calamansi. And chicken curry is spicy but there is a dish that is so spicy that is called "Bicol Express"
We have chopseuy, pinakbet, munggo, ginisang ampalya, ginisang upo, steamed kangkong, bulanglang as vegetable menu. Maybe you will find it in other karenderyas and restaurants. Or try to make your own veggie salad at home.
7:08 owh you want to buy the Beep Card I think you can buy that in station booth just ask the cashier far from I remember it will cost you around 100 pesos with 30 pesos balance. It is very convenient if you travel of LRT, MRT or sometimes bus and E-jeep because they accept this payment.
Yeah we also complained when they released those coins with similar colors and I hate it. It becomes too time consuming to check each coins, especially for jeepney drivers
Pinay here and I can say Philippine Peso coin characteristics could get really tricky if one is visually impaired or have poor eyesight like me. It doesn't help that both the old and the new series of coins are in circulation. Sizes are not too differentiated and there aren't many distinguishable design or tactile differences to identify between denominations.
18:00, It's crazy to think about the fact that in the span of my 5 years of living here in the U.S., I have forgotten how the fruits taste in the Philippines. I mean, here in the U.S. when you go to the grocery stores the fruits are massive, but the taste is just 80% sour and 20% sweet and sometimes it just tastes like water. My point is, I forgot that fruit can be 100% sweet!
There are a lot of apartments and condo in manila for like apartments are 10 to 15 thousand then a condo unit studio is 25 to 35 thousand. Hopefully you can find some comfortable house in the future!
3:52 "they're going to keep going until they hit your, I guess" hahaha hilarious 😂 but in all honesty, be careful crossing the street! 4:56 2 cups rice, YESSSSS, you're becoming a true blue Filipino haha. 9:50 OMG guuuurl, you're killing me with the description and over and over eating it hahaha, I'm in Seattle and I'm dying to have that now. 9:56 haha that's what everyone does and the malls expect it, we go there when it's too hot and then yes 😂😂 we end up buying something haha! Welcome to the Philippines, everything is an adventure!
You can rent our condominium unit for P30,000.00 or 600 US Dollars for 1 month just across SM Megamall just less than 20 steps you’re in Megamall as in Across the street
you can make "Ice Candy" the one that you saw in Intramuros just buy ice candy plastic and put some juice inside and place in freezer or just watch UA-cam videos about making Ice Candy 😊
Your channel is getting fraction already, your almost near from exploding, keep being true in your blog, we like it simple, raw and almost unfiltered reaction, I just know when someone's faking it for the sake of the view.. And pleasing the filipino viewer..
A long time ago (an estimated 10 years at least), even blind people could distinguish Philippine coins. Nowadays, there are too many varieties that even locals (at least for me) have difficulty counting coins. You have to be careful when giving a change.
expensive renting room is depend in where you are living ma'am in pH. about vegestable dish you just ask karihan when will they cook vegestable recipies.
Hi, new subscriber here. Just live simple, you will save a lot. Hope you can get a location where you can have privacy. Always be happy and take care. Will watch your next vlogs.
And yes, the new 5 peso coin is soooo confusing. Don't worry, everyone feels the same way about it. I don't know why they changed it to be so similar to a 1 peso.
seoheee you can find solo studio apartment cheaper outside manilaa range! if ur work doesnt have any related in manilaa please move in other placeee i hope you could find solo good apartment 🥹🥹🥹
@@seoheetravel yeah, the price of housing in manila is crazy expensive compared to the provinces. I remember renting a 2-story fully furnished house with my friends and we only had to pay like 100 usd a month (there were 4 of us so only 25 each). It was like 10 years ago tho lol
Please don't be shy vlogging here in the Philippines. Filipinos only hate other filipinos vlogging, but not foreign vloggers. Stay safe and more power.

Yep. Housing is expensive. It's one of the reasons why Filipinos don't usually leave the family home until after marriage.
I like your 'Love is in the Air' (Flower Thrower) Bansky art tattoo. ❤
Welcome to Philippines
The weather gets cooler in December to February.
Very likeable vlogging style and personality.

Yes most Pilipino foods are salty because they're design to eat with plain rice to nutralize the saltiness.
The way you talk, the way you move... exactly you’re the same as my daughter😁😁😁
