I have watched the video multiple times, my opinion doesn’t matter on who’s guilty or who’s not. What does matter is I showed my 18 year old son the video, who looks a bit like the young man that passed, because I wanted him to see how a situation could turn out. I felt it was very important for him to see it. My suggestion is some of you do the same, maybe things like this wouldn’t happen as often. It saddens me that young man passed away over this.

The fact that Mui was charging or running at those people was not an opinion. However this attorney wants to negate or totally erase context and simply call it "approaching" someone. He does this all throughout his cross examinations so much that even the judge was getting impatient. Oh it was blatantly obvious dad was out to have a good birthday with his kids🎉
Had he been alert and treated the situation as he would in his bar, I'd imagine he'd do what he did.
Send his boys/men over to bounce, go in strong and quickly and deescalate.
Water and tubes made for a slippery wreck of a bouncing job. The old man meant well. To chill out the drinking teens from a man. Problem is that the man made a decision to pull a knife and use it...
In excess 😢 it was war for him. Intent to kill. It took a bit for people to realize he wasn't just throwing fists like a drunk bar fight, he had a small knife in his fist. The shock alone of the escalation to blood bath yeah Dad shoulda gone silent, lots of shoulda dones for lots of people.
I've witnessed a fatal car crash, no one was partying. We as spectators did what was needed. I sat with the driver that lost a best friend instantly. .. I knew he was in shock and I told him this was not your fault, there was nothing you could do at the road speed just feet away from the intersection when the light turned yellow. That day a man chose to turn in front of them, hesitated, then gunned it, damage done. I'm so grateful to have had my head in a good place to be extremely aware of every unfolding detail visible. We can take away so many lessons from these types of experiences. I knew my statement and as for the news, on my terms I'd give them a statement under my conditions. No picture of the scene on the front page.
God Bless all these people, God Bless U.S. all. We need your wisdom and guidance more than ever

I absolutely agree with. I did the same thing with my 19 yr. old daughter and her boyfriend. Young kids/adults now days seem to have no fear no respect and think they are steel proof. I’m not sure how u feel but I do not feel that the elder man is at fault! I wish a young man did not lose his life basically because it escalated because of people that had NO CLUE of what was going on decided to go over and put their 2 cents in. UT’S JUST HORRIBLE!!! I do not find the man guilty I do think it was self-defense. That’s my feelings. But I do think some other charges need to be brought on to some of the people that decided to violately hit this man. And also for the under age drinking and the lying. The way people act now days and having 12-13 of them around u doing what they were doing I would have to defend myself also. How ever I could!!!!!!!!!!
PLEASE MOMS AND DADS EDUCATE YOUR CHILDREN ABOUT THUS TRIAL AND TO RESPECT OTHERS!

Following such trauma to the abdomen, it will be left opened at the surface, internal stitching will be utilized. The abdomen will swell so much you can’t bring the skin together &/or the surgeons will need to go back in to do further exploration. With these wounds the healing is done from the inside to outside and takes weeks. As a nurse I’ve taken care of patients with this. As a patient I went thru it, doing (wet to dry) twice per dressing changes for 8 weeks. This young man is going to be living with gut issues the rest of his life. He’s got my prayers and support.

One of which includes “Unnecessary defensive force - The defendant genuinely believed they or another person was in imminent danger of death or serious physical injury and that the force they used was necessary to defend whoever was endangered, but the belief of danger or the force being necessary was not reasonable.” I think this fits here MUCH better than 1st degree. So far, on the stand, every single one of these young adults, and teens, and prosecutorial witnesses, have identical cases of 100% memory loss as to what they, and their friends did that day.
Yet incredibly, every single one of them are able to clearly recall exactly what the man did, and why they were attacking him.
Their acquired severe, and selective memory losses all manifested identically, and left them each with the exact same few memories. That’s absolutely remarkable, and should be one for the case books.
Furthermore, two years ago, right after it happened, no one of reported the man saying something inappropriate about little girls, or he that he punched a girl.
Yet again, they’ve all recently regained the exact same two terrible memories to explain they were attacking the man because they “were so scared of him”.

Everyone’s behavior was awful that day. The guy with the knife was pushed down in the water up to his neck and assaulted. I would have been afraid they would have tried to drown me if I was him. I understand self defense for the defense side . I just don’t know how I would vote if I was in the jury. The video was shocking to watch.

He was pushed ONLY after he punched the woman in the face who was telling him to go away. He took the knife out while the women were yelling at him, right before punching one of them. That’s why he was able to stab the kid so fast, because he already had it out. The dude was unhinged, probably because he was drunk

You know a defense attorney is grasping at straws, to create a defense, when they go into detailed minutia, in order to try to discredit a witness. When a witness is exposes to a horrendous traumatic event then likely will not remember after two years if a person was holding a phone or not, while see someone else with their guts falling out while they are bleeding to death.
