I don't know if the courts suppress other people coming forth but I hope their victims and people they messed with will start coming forth and bring to light rotten creeps they have been to others .
When they appeal this case and then we have another trial I hope the truth comes out

Well.... Lots of changes take place between 16 and 22. So the kids looked a lot younger at 17/18 than 20/21, plus the emotional issues of dealing with witnessing and being involved in death of a friend tends to psychologically and physically affect people. Prosecution probably showed bigger pics of the kids but we can't see all the exhibits.

You clearly didn’t watch the video of him stabbing them and literally gutting one of them in the river. In the video you can clearly see him throw the first punch at a women and then when a guy steps in to defend her he starts stabbing literally everyone at random he stabbed the girl in the side for no reason while she had a drink in her hand she wasn’t even a remote physical threat little own a deadly threat that warrants deadly force to defend yourself.
The kids are not on trial because they didn't commit any violent offences ( not that it would be relevant if they did because most of the victims were from the OTHER GROUP )

It doesn't matter really. The jury knows this: Nic Mui didn't immediately call the police and tell them "I was just attacked by a group of bullies and used my knife and poked a few people." He instead, tossed the knife, told his group the kids had a knife, then tried to leave in his vehicle and when the cops approached, he didn't mention what just happened. He instead lied and didn't mention the altercation or that he stabbed some kids. It doesn't matter how confusing the kids testimonials are. The video shows the MAN approach them, get made fun of, then start poking people with blood spilling out. He was the grown up. He was morally obligated to walk away.

How did this witness or anyone from their group de-escalate the situation? To the contrary, each of these drunk brats made the situation worse. They laid their hands on the defendant, slapping him, punching him & pushing him down, which to me was an act of violence towards him. He had no other option but to retaliate. The defendant did not stab anyone that didn’t attack him first. How they think this video helps to State’s case is beyond me? I don’t believe charges against the defendant should have been brought against the defendant in the first place. The evidence is clear this is a self defense case! Furthermore, whoever bought alcohol for the minors should be charged criminally & sued by the defendant.

The dad explained that in his testimony. He runs a bar and his sons are accustomed to diffusing arguments between drunks. He said that he could not hardly walk. I’m sure if he knew he was sending his sons to be stabbed, he never would have sent them.

I am almost positive that there was no cell phone signal where this happened at. I haven’t heard it discussed in the trial yet but they could not even call 911 for medical treatment for the stabbing victims. They had to send people up or down the river for help. So the father could not call the police for help.
