  • Learn how to make a smoked salmon pate with cream cheese, dill and chives. This delicious dip/spread/appetizer is great served with crackers or crusty bread.
    ▼ INGREDIENTS LIST:
    - 250 g (8.8 oz) of boneless and skinless salmon fillets
    - 150 g (5.3 oz) of smoked salmon
    - 150 g (5.3 oz) of cream cheese at room temperature
    - 1/4 teaspoon of salt
    - 1/4 teaspoon of dried dill
    - 1 teaspoon of fresh chives, chopped
    - Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

    I did this today and it went very well with my home-made bread. But I didn't add salt and I used parsley instead of dill and chives because I didn't have them. Still very delicious. Thank you so much.

    I tried to make a spread with smoked salmon but it was expensive. I have since learned that hot smoked salmon in a thick piece is the best way to go. I've got a jar of sweet piquant peppers by Peppadew that I'll chop up and add to the mix with Philly cream cheese.

    Myself.....I just add "La Dallia sweet Smoked Paprika" (1 teaspoon per pound Pink Salmon). Add more or less to your liking....and of course fresh dill finely chopped with S&P. Sometimes fresh lemon to brighten.
