I hope Nissan makes Frontier Nismo with Z motor or GM comes out with something competitive as I think they make the best looking trucks. I won't even bother mentioning Toyota as they won't have a new 4Runner or Tacoma for another 3-5 years at this point.
I live in the USA, and dearly wish they would bring this vehicle to the USA. The F150 Raptor is a ridiculous vehicle, complete overkill for all but desert racers, and this is a nice blend of medium size but super high function. A really great design overall.

I'd like to see more in depth information on the front diff lock. Which mechanism is it? How does it operate? Is it limited to 4LO or only after the rear is locked. This is the second most important upgrade after the engine and nobody has shown it yet.
Most likely it will be available with the Torsen front diff. Which by all accounts is better than a front e- locker or any other configuration unless you’re just Rock climbing

No diesel which will hurt some potential buyers. Petrol Power is all well and good but less range than diesel. At $2.15 a litre actual real world economy will be important.!
Ford really done a good job on this one they gone the extra mile trying to give us something that resembles the F150 raptor .I know the only thing I'm not gonna like about it is the price but I'm sure it will be worth the money

Amazing I presently own a 2020 Ranger Lariat sport and love it. I've own a Raptor in the past but this will be the perfect mix and size for a raptor. Withh a tune and a few mods no problem getting this truck to 500hp its gonna haul ass! This will be my next truck.
At $1.80/L fuel is too dear for V8s. Seen less and less V8s on the road over the last ten odd years. I reckon an electric power unit would have been perfection.
Why? You’re getting more power and better fuel economy out of the V6 turbo. There is no Pros for a V8. Hence why no one is running them anymore In LC/patrol.

I once joked that if I couldn't ever get a real Raptor that I could always buy a Ford Ranger and beef up the fenders and put beefy tires and a beefy grill on it with a few Raptor graphics. Little did I know that my thoughts would manifest into a real product. But I was also able to get a 2010 Raptor SVT so I am very pleased, but to see these smaller versions of the Ford Raptor done in a Ranger is just too 😎 😍

I’ve got a 2021 3.2 Wildtrak but would be tempted to trade in for a v6 petrol. Petrol is dirt cheap where I live when there isn’t a coup going on.

No diesel version you have to buy the Ranger for that. With the V6 diesel the Ranger will sell very well.
