Wow so simple!!! Thank you for the walkthrough for the wiring! Always intimidating getting new lights and not knowing how to adapt new led running light wiring because it’s not plug and play. This made it simple for me and gave me the confidence to do this myself! Thank you so much again for your video!
Yes yes I did the same thing! Ran through several videos to figure out the wiring configuration and no one explained it well enough or just skipped the video part trying to explain it out of thin air with no video walkthrough. This video was perfect and simple!

Kenny I am correct in seeing that the headlight is only held in place by the two bottom screws? I am installing them now ono my Ex. Is there a way to adjust them?
What am I missing about the top adjustment bolts? The top doesn't have anywhere to bolt. I have a 99. Do I take the adjustment plastic nut off and try to screw it from behind the metal?
Those are the one piece lights, made for 99-04. They're not 05-07 headlights. 05-07 have different mounting brackets. The headlights you have, still have the 99-04 style adjusters, 05-07 doesn't. They have different connectors too. The new headlights you just installed, wouldn't fit a 05-07 f250-f350.
@@fabianjr.9792 if you get the 99-04 lights, all the connectors plug right in. You just have to cut a little bit of fiberglass backing. I took a sharpie and used a angle grinder with a cut off wheel. You might want to order some headlight retainer clips. The old ones sometimes break. You can find them on eBay or Amazon. If you use 05-07 headlights, you will still have to cut all the fiberglass backing out, buy new 05-07 retainer clips and by new 05-07 adapter connectors to fit your 99-04 connectors. A lot easier to go with 99-04 headlights and they look the same.
Can you wire them so they come on when you unlock the truck? and if you have a link or specific name that would be awesome. all i can find is the 99-04 halo
Sorry for the slow reply! My headlights already blink when i lock/unlock the truck so when i put these in, they did too. I just looked up the lights again... it looks like they have been rebranded to "AKKON" lights. heres the page. www.amazon.com/99-04-SuperDuty-Pickup-Projector-Headlights/dp/B07CMHYJTG/ref=sr_1_10?crid=1P30CGZG3V9UT&keywords=akkon+headlights+05-07&qid=1574879994&s=automotive&sprefix=akkon+%2Cautomotive%2C124&sr=1-10
You can you just have to cut the wires on the bulb side by the headlight and resplice. 3 wires go into the connector but 4 wires come out. 1 positive and 1 negative go to each light. This headlight already has LED lowbeams which make a nice straight horizontal line when on. So if u wanted to swap to LED u would only need to replace the High beam.
The high beams reuse the old bulbs, but are still brighter with the clearer lens, but I never use the high beams now because the low beams are way brighter and leave that nice crisp lines across the road
Thats the factory one and it's broken! I'm actually going to buy the newer 05' and up style shortly and make a video to show how to mod it for attachment to the older truck.
So much brighter than the stock lights! the stock ones i always wondered if the lights were even on. The low beams are LED and have a nice crisp line across the horizon
I'm not following? The older 99-04 are 2 piece headlights. 05 and up ford changed to 1 piece lights. With a little modification to the headlight bracket and an extra wire you can have 05' up style headlights in your 99-04. I'm also not sure what you're saying about the grille the 99-04 vehicles cannot hold and 05 up grille without mods. They are not identical. They do clip into the old mounts however they are taller and you either have to cut away the bottom of the grille or cut away the front bumper for clearance or I guess you could buy a 05' up front bumper. Either way not identical and doesn't work without modifications.
No a running light is what stays on at all times the vehicle is running and can be any shape. A halo regarding headlights is a lighted ring surrounding the headlight (like a halo)
No aftermarket... I need to find another excursion to make a video for them. They plug in but you have to modify some plastic on the mirror. Much better than stock

I put the same headlights in last year. Love the light and look great. Great video wish I had this video before I put my lights in

Do they cost 649 for one or for the pair???
649? Wow the price has went up a lot. I got my pair on JC Whitney for $350 I think.
Awesome tutorial! You should make a Vid showing the lights in low light and darkness! Not really any vids on these lights at all.
Good idea. They are a huge improvement over the stock lights... and they have that nice modern perfectly straight line on low beams.
I uploaded a follow up

Where ur towing mirrors from?
Amazon and they were cheap too
Now can you change the bulbs in those to the hid bulbs??
Not sure it fits the stock high beams bulbs so if you could get bulbs for the OE lights then I think yes
Have you tried LED H1 bulbs for high and low beam?
I have not, haven't needed them. But if one of mine go out I'll try them out
Are they bright enough? I see a lot of aftermarket headlights that really aren’t worth it.

How are the lights holding on? Any pro or cons?

2 year later update?

Yeah
Only the plastic

It’s not called a halo it’s called running light
