Glad you mentioned about the pumps being as low as possible I've got a friend who's got his pumps higher than the tank and they're sideways on the side of the van and he said once there prime they're ok he said they're really good pumps he said they've been going about 9 to 10 years and I was about to do the same but after seeing this I've changed my mind great video thanks for the info

    Interesting info, thank you.
I assume if I hooked a standard Sureflo to one of those backpack flow controllers - I could bypass the pressure switch for more reliable results? I'll test this but this is a new area for me so all tips are helpful, it was interesting to learn the pump may have a mind of its own independently of the flow controller.
I think too the flow controller and the pump must be rated at the same amp rating - somebody say if that's not right.

My wfs at the moment is not working correctly, when I turn it on it runs with no water coming out so I take of the hose running into the ds bottle and I suck the water through and it works perfectly, until I turn it of then it doesn't suck water through, then I have to start sucking water through again.does anyone know what the problem is.

My sureflow pump is connected to a digital controller....the lump is A1...but the pressure switch is clicking...which made me think ,it needs replacing...but as you say on your video...I can bi pass it....as the controller will just dead end?.....

Very good , thanks for that , I have a pump ( on the right in your video ) that I’ve been using since 2006 , still going .
Didn’t know about bypassing the mechanical micro switch .
Just having issue with auto controller , despite full charge it’s flashing “ batt “ all connectors clean , pump works for 2/3 mins then winds down to nothing , there is a bit of corrosion inside the controller, suspect shorting on circuit board ,, is it worth resoldering ?
    Thanks again , excellent video
