    WFP Link
    Innovative device that will really transform many van systems for the future !.
    Personally when I first received the system my thoughts were “what’s the point ?, is it all necessary “ . I was skeptical to say the least but during the products testing stages my mind was changed hugely .
    After using the fob for a day I found I really liked it . Later in the product development the app for the phone came with the ability to change the button functions ,for me this really transformed this !.
    I think it comes Into it’s own with the ability to use this without accessing the controller , this means you can install a electric hose reel for instance and controller to the back of a van and control power ,flow ,calibration and so on without being near the controller .
    I love the ability to actually turn the power off/on ,
    I have 3 preset flow rates (my personal preference) so that I have regular flow (I have medium flow for regular maintenance cleaning ) but with the ability to press one button I can have a high flow (preset of course ) for those large commercial Windows and for rinsing .
    I have slow flow should I come across stubborn stains or for when cleaning pvcU with chemicals (we don’t want to wash the chemicals away to quickly ) .
    Being able to power down when the customer comes out with tea is a bonus , this means the system isn’t under pressure and idling using power and putting strain on the pump .
    I’ve used this on large commercials with 70m of hose out and buildings between the 2 without issue and regular domestic jobs . The LED’s are great too , they show flow rate (number of lights ) and wether the button pressed has been received .
    Battery life is fantastic too .
    I can genuinely say I wouldn’t be without mine .

    Here at Clear and Clean we have tested the WFP-link for SPRINGS EUROPE For the past 6 months.
    We have found the WFP-link to be an easy set up to be added to the controller. Once connected we have had no issues with it disconnecting.
    The battery in the fob has lasted approximately 5 days working each day all day, then needs recharging.
    The fob is easy to use, one press stop/start. You can turn the speed of the pump up and down.
    The fob also has LED lights which is a great visual aid to let you know when you adjust the settings.
    Distance:- we have had a full 100 metres working distance with no issues. But this depends on what type of buildings and heights.
    You will find that once you pause, the pump stops instantly but the water in the pipes will still flow for approximately 5 seconds.
    There is also an app that can convert to your smart phone if you are techno friendly. We find this to be a great asset, as you can check on the life of your battery (in your van ) you can also change your speed from your phone and other options.
    We run three pumps in our van and will definitely convert all our systems to work from the WFP-link.

    Can my van be totally closed (doors and windows) and the system will still work ?

      @springeuropeltd7880  5 років тому +1

      Yes although this may reduce the range in which the WFP Link works. We tested the WFP Link with the van completely shut and it still worked around the other side of an industrial unit with a distance of about 30 metres. Although the range will be dependent on circumstances such as van make and other environmental factors.

    Ian and team, this looks good (been a long time coming) but as a user of the original ‘one shot’ my only problem would be, whilst working, pressing the wrong button to turn the pump off between windows. I never look at the fob, I just press the button quickly between windows etc. Now that it’s got 4 buttons, I imagine this may be harder to do quickly? I wondered if you might think about also releasing a ‘basic’ version, a single button on off ‘one shot’ with this building busting technology. That would be a great alternative for those that don’t need to adjust flow... let me know what you think. Keep up the good work!

      Thank you for your comment. To answer your query all the buttons on the WFP Link fob can be configured to the same function so all buttons could be the on/off function if that is what you require. It also comes with a lanyard meaning the link can hang around your neck making accessibility and viewing easier.

      Honestly bud it’s a doddle . I have mine hanging round my neck on a lanyard . Without looking I can press on/off without looking as it’s the natural position (top button )

      ryan pratt does the controller need to have the van doors open to work? Or will it now work ‘through the doors’. At the mo I’ve got a one shot with the separate radio antenna on my van roof. Thanks for any help!

    I don’t want the controller to be turned on by the fob/remote accidentally, is this possible? I just bought a V16 of these, but it can’t be turned off completely. Suplier says this is the case with all wfp spring V16 remotes. Not so happy about that :-(

      Hi Edwin, thank you for your comment. It is possible to turn the controller off completely by disconnecting from the power but like your tv the controller is in standby when using the power button. This is so it can monitor the battery level and can respond to communications from the remote. When any button is pressed on the fob the LEDs will light up so if it is pressed it is easy to tell. If you have an app enabled WFP Link you can change the functions of each fob button. If you have any more questions please feel free to contact us.

    Hello, is it possible to use 2 spring WFP link devices on a hot water system on two different pumps? (in the case that the 2 pumps deliver hot water) ?

    • @springeuropeltd7880
      @springeuropeltd7880  5 років тому

      Thank you for your question. Yes it is possible to control two different pumps, but you will need two controllers (which are both WFP Link Hot Water controllers) and a fob for each. If you are asking this question because you are worried about interference, that is not a problem with the WFP Link controllers. Does this answer your question?

      Spring (Europe) Ltd Hello. Thank you for your answer. No it doesn’t really answer to my question.
      Because I have a V2 controller which is a “special” controller which is not standard based on the v11 range (which has wfp link possibilities)
      The v2 controller was made for gardiner and has besides the hot water function also the fill up option.
      This controller looks like not being compatible (or maybe not yet) with wfp link features.

      @@gilloumillecam You are correct the V2 controller is not compatible with the WFP Link. If you are looking for something to turn your flow on and off we would recommend the One Shot Stand Alone. This can be added to existing controllers and the remote allows for up to 40 meters line of site use, you will find more information about this here: springltd.co/one-shot-stand-alone-(rf) - This is compatible with the V2 controller.
