    Iv just gone from the pure freedom controller (as it went mad) 😂. To the streamline branded V16 and wow. The flow is so much better and pump runs a lot quieter.

    You need to throw all those blue scotch clips away. The biggest cause of failed circuits and dry joints. Always solder joints and use high quality heatshrink. Also avoid those new low temperature heatshrink inline connectors. They are also shite

    • @aemackintosh
      @aemackintosh  4 роки тому

      Thanks. That would be a step up. I do have a soldering iron. The controller came with the blue scotch clips, so hopefully the way I have shown it done can be carried out even by a complete novice with no experience.😃👍🏼

    If you have powered off the controller by the power button.., can it be turned on again if you push a button on the remote? I don’t want it to turn on the flow if someone accidentally pushes a button on the remote in the van.

    Hi Ashley, I know this is off topic for the video but when you pull the gutter cleaner out the van, do you use ramps or just pull it out van? Thanks

      I’m not sure what you mean. Once you have wired it up you need to calibrate it. I show how to do this at the end of the video. Then I normally have the flow set between about 24-28.😃👍🏼

    • @aemackintosh
      @aemackintosh  2 роки тому +1

      PS means pressure switch. It might be that your battery is too flat to run the pump?

    • @Lordy3
      @Lordy3 2 роки тому +1

      @@aemackintosh Thanks for your reply, I turned off the battery cuttoff and it was still happening turned out to be a bad connection from the controller to the pump which meant I didn't even need to bypass the switch got there in the end!

    Don't ever use these blue connectors, the source of many a car fault in the 80's!!! Get a crimp kit, do the job properly and maintain engineering standards.
