Last time I cleaned windows was 12 years ago and was still using traditional methods.
Was just in the process of starting up again as moved to rural Devon I'm hoping in a few months time I can start up again very good video

@@nathankaye9594 my original plans were to do gutters and conservatory cleaning and then see if I could pick up a few windows here and there

Thanks for your reply nothing cheap in the window cleaning game reason I got the booster pump fitted £500 is that I’m on a water meter my bills before where £130 per month they are now £90 so it kind of paid for itself in a year only worth fitting if you’re on a meter also got a sub meter so I can climb sewage now brings my water bill down to £50-£60 per month that’s domestic and work thanks once again

My water pressure is only 20 I I have a 40 inch van System from pure freedom they then fitted me with an impressive booster pump I thought it was expensive but it seems to Cut the waste water down dramatically and resin use so I only change my filters and resin every four months highest TDS I get is 002 it also produces water at 250 Litres per hour not sure if you could use one of these at home?Again great video thanks

thank you Michael. it seems like you have the larger RO system 40 (or 20 inch) inch membranes etc and a much larger pump which is ideal for your set up filling straight into your van tank. if ones can afford this, then your type of system is the one to go for. Either for in the van or stored in a shed filling a storage tank which you then transfer to your tank.
thank you for liking the videos

The TDS that is coming out of my membrane is 2. I am a window cleaner. Why do I need to use resin?

By fitting a pump does that reduce the waist water or does the waist water just increase also ?

    Hi Nathan
You’re using 3x150 gallon membranes, are you using 3xflow restrictors on the waste or do all 3 waste outlets run into 1 restrictor?
    Cheers

Great set up. What are the name of the fittings going into your DI system. Got an R O ordered and have a D I vessel but I'll need them fitting. Any help would be much appreciated

Welcome to wfp buddy. I no longer have that particular system but I believe it was just a 3/4 connector (thread but not sure if male or female) to a 1/4 push fit. Hope that helps

Great helpful video, thanks. Just one question, you have 450gpd worth of membranes but a booster pump that seems to be 50gpd. Do you find that is OK? Thanks

Hiya, thank you for watching. Hope they are helpful!
The RO's work best at around 70-80 psi and so this booster pump was idealfor my set up as it boosted it enough to meet this.

@@nathankaye9594 Thanks very much. I have a 150gpd and can't find any stock of 150gpd pumps so I was going for self regulating 200GPD 1.6l/min pump. Seems like as long as press 70-80psi then they work well. Thanks

What's happens if you lose the sponge that's in the resign filter is that's a big issue 😅

    • @nathankaye9594
      @nathankaye9594  3 роки тому

if your using a small vessel for resin than yes the sponge is important as it stops the beads of resin going through, unless you want to flush your resin into your tank 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️. ie the small clear vessels which are sold with these smaller fish tank style RO systems
