I work on curly hair every day behind the chair, and you would be surprised. I was inspired to make this video because most people have no idea what they need, WHY they need it, or when to use it. So for those of you struggling, I hope you find this video helpful :)

This is a fav video of mine and once again, I have stumbled upon a youtuber who i LOVE and because I love them, im torn between wanting them to blow up but also not wanting a bunch of people to come and crowd up the comments! lmaoo
LOL I'm loving reading all your comments! Thanks for the support Abigail ❤
@@ManesByMell
Totally agree! I want to recommend this channel to my friends and family but also selfishly keep Mel all to myself!😭
Abigail De souza omg right?!
That's so sweet, but for Mel's sake, more comments = more views = more curly girls = success for Mel! It's obvious Mel puts in a lot of time into her videos FOR US, so let's SHARE her videos as a "THANK YOU" for Mel and, as a bonus, we'll be helping others too!!😉🤗
I love how the comments vary from a year ago to like 10 hours
Haha yea
Yes it’s so cool!
I have to rewatch her videos whilst doing my hair lol
Right?! Timeless wisdom 4 curlz
True.
This is literally the best video I’ve found after realising I need to start caring for my curly hair after 23 years of having it left to frizz
“If you’re only using one product....you need to reconsider....” wow I’ve never been so called out 😂 thanks for these helpful and hilarious videos 🙌🏽
1)Prep(moisture)
-Leave in conditioner/treatments
-Serums
2)Styling (hold the curl)
-Mousse and foam
-Creams
-Serum and oil
-Gels and pomade
-Hairsprays
3)Finishing (volume and shine)
-Oil/Serum/Hairspray
Thx sis
We need to do all those?😩
Gliterz no you don’t have to. a lot of times i put in leave in conditioner and foam or gel then maybe a little bit of oil
I'm confused. I have 3C hair with fine strands. Do I apply a serum on wet hair (sillicone or non silicone based) before a gel? Or the other way around? I want to lock in moisture and keep my curl pattern defined.
Please do this exact video on your sister's hair. Her hair texture is very similar to mine. Thanks for a great video. Love yr channel.
Best personality and intros. Everyone else drives me insane with their long ass life stories at the start of their videos! I just want facts and this girl is BANG into it!!!
Lololol
Today I won the curl lottery and FINALLY found products that suit my hair type. My curls were defined, full and so bouncy. No heat applied during the process. Without your videos, I would not have known what I needed and why. Thanks again, Mel!
I'm the only one in my family with curly hair and its always been a struggle on dealing with my hair. You are so informative and I've already started noticing a difference in my hair after trying the styling tips and some of the products. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Mel, you are amazing! You have changed my life... I’m 41 years old and I never knew how to use products properly. I finally understand and me and My hair thank you🥰
Awwww
I feel like I’m only beginning my curly hair journey and I’m so glad I found you. I can’t wait to show you what my hair looks like in a year 🤣
I have a 7 year old daughter with long curly hair and I’m always struggling to find products for her hair. I have wavy hair and don’t use many products on my hair so coming across your channel has been very eye opening! I’m always fearful of using the wrong product on her curls causing them to get damaged or fall out. Thank you so much for this video!
YOUR CHANNEL JUST SAVED MY LIFE. I WANT TO CRY.
From a Mum who struggled to know what to do with her daughters curly hair, I have to say a massive thank you for sharing this info. From just the diffusing vid I have learned so much, and the wee ones hair and elders hair sits so much better, thanks to you. I look forward in learning more about curls and all the who, what where, when and hows!
I am so on the same page. I was so new to the curly hair world when I had my daughter. It has been a fun journey though!
I really want to thank you, I have just washed my hair and used several different product in the right order and it really helped, I also used another video to learn how to diffuse it properly but now my hair looks amazing and your hair is amazing so thank you x
😍 I just discovered your videos and I swear I’ve watched 10 videos today. I sort of did a curly girl method several years ago and it was not terrible but I wasn’t impressed enough to keep it going. I have had dreads for 2 years now and finally cut all of my hair off about 2 month ago. I decided then to go blonde, on my extremely dark hair 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ That only lasted until my hair started to grow and show my dark new growth and I gave up and went back to natural. Now only the very ends are really damaged and I’ve decided to go back to my natural dark curls. I’ve had every color in the book, red, blue, purple, orange, turquoise, you name it! I’ve been straightening since I was 12 because my mother never knew how to properly care for my curly hair. She only braided it extremely tight and left it for days, washed it, and started over. Now I’m dying to see what my natural looks like when properly cares for. I almost tried the “cgm” again until I came across your videos! You have saved me a lot of trouble and heartache I’m sure! Now I can’t wait to see how this curly pixie cut grows out!!
I started watching your videos and you made me realize that I have been neglecting my hair. Starting today I will Prep, Style, and FINISH my hair. Follow by the method you recommended. Remember this comment. A month from now I will comment on this video again to share my results. IM COMMITTED 👊🏼
It’s been a month!!! How’s it going
@@joseehill5994 lol WELL!!!!!! Its a struggle. My hair is indeed curly but messy in a way. Its a process to get the perfect curls. I discovered prep process is too much product for my fine hair so I’m still looking for right products. Currently my hair is indeed healthy which I’m super happy about. I am taking hair gummies to help grow my hair. Overall my curls came back but they are not 100. It’s a process like MELL says so DOES THIS WORK!! so far yes but in order to be 100 on my hair I have to find the right product s.
@@alexbabamhope6938 haha I feel your pain. I basically want to try every single product mentioned in her video w nicole consillio (sp? 😬)
I can’t thank you enough! After colouring my hair twice in a short period of time my curls went flat. I didn’t know how to maintain them before that and would always brush it when it was dry. But then I discovered the internet and realised my whole life has been a lie. With the rest of my family having straight hair from ironing it or just having natural straight/slightly wavy hair, I had no idea that curly hair needs extra love and attention. Honestly you helped me so much and my curls are already looking way better. My curls bring me a lot of happiness, and I can’t thank you enough for helping me through my transition! 💗💗
OMG THANK YOU
You explain so welll
I feel like the others curly youtub girls are just filming theur routine and show you how magnificent their hair is
But your explanations are everything thank you
Thank you so much Mel, no one ever in my 31 years of curly hair life told me about these techniques and products and me and my hair are super grateful! Also you're super joyful and fun, GRACIAS
I’m so glad your channel exists! I don’t think I’ve ever watched someone break it down like this. I’ve been on my curl journey for about three years now. Last night I used a deep conditioning treatment ( shea moisture strengthen and restore treatment masque) with heat for the first time on wash day. I then rinsed with cold water. Applied my styling products (don’t furrow your brows lol) cantu coconut curling cream and suave volumizing mousse and that was it 🤦🏻♀️ I have long hair so you can imagine the volume I have 😂👎🏼 although my hair has less frizz now, my curls are night shiny or detailed. Happy to have seen this video. I even took notes on when they should be applied. I’m obviously lacking several products! Lol good luck with your channel! I think you’ll be great, you have an awesome personality! ❤️❤️❤️
Just discovered this girl and LOVE LOVE LOVE her! She is hilarious and everything she says makes sense. Thanks Mel!! Had straight hair when I was little, started to curl in middle school and just never knew what to do. When I finally figured out how to care for it somewhat I moved from a humid environment to a very dry one and have just been lost in what to do, especially since my hair is fine so the products I thought would add moisture best to it, were too heavy the next morning. My curls were dry and just lost. But since I started watching all your videos and I feel that I got this! Curl game is on a comeback! And your videos with your sister are my favs!!! Thank you!!!
THANK YOU!! This is going to help so much!
I use the Cantu product line.
*Order I use my products*
Leave in conditioner-brush it out
Curl activation cream- brush out
Gel- scrunch
Then let air dry.
So thankful I found this video!! It has changed my curly hair for the better! I was never taught how to style my hair I was always told just to straighten it and it became so damaged. Thank you for helping my natural curly journey!
I stumbled onto this video earlier this week and was thrilled to see a whole channel! I’ve been working my way through and have up’ed my curl game already, with some great results! Thank you, Mel! After having curls for 51 years, I thought I knew what I was doing but had clearly not maximized their full potential (poor little guys!). Thank you for the fun education, from one wacky curly girl to another. 😝
OMG, I’ve literally only used one hair product for my curls my entire life! Now I see I need to fix that ASAP. Love this video, thank you!
Thank you so much for YOUR honesty, showing us step by step what it takes to have curls as beautiful as YOURS! 😍
Mel, thank you! U inspire me to wash my hair every week and style according to your tips. I am still learning what works best for me.
I have a wavy/curly hair and I have been using my diffuser after putting a gel lately , and I can really see the difference between now and then
Hey Mell! After many years of using a curling iron to style my hair (I have different types of curls throughout my head) I’ve decided to embrace my natural curls. I’ve been binge watching your videos. You and your sister are so cute! It can be a little overwhelming trying to figure out which products to use that will work for my hair. This video was exactly what I needed!
Thank you!
Mel, I have daughter a lot like you. And yes shes a chip off this old block LOL. I am the one with the least manageable and tighter curls out of my girls. Thank you for teaching us! You are adorable 😍 your gifted teacher. keep being you!
Thanks Mel!! I have bought almost everything you have in your styling routine - my hair has never looked better! Thank you so much! I just turned 30 and finally understand why I've been suffering from dry hair for the past 7-8 years! HYGRAL FATIGUEEE!
You have taught me so much about my curly hair, Im so thankful that I found your channel. My curls look great, Thanks Mel!!!
I am SO EXCITED that I found you! I have always had think 3a curls until recently. I also never wanted to embrace my curls until recently. So due to straightening and bleaching, (and maybe also because I'm pregnant) I've lost so much of my curl. Its now more of a 2c. I'm trying to relearn my hair and how to achieve my best possible curl and you have helped me so much. I see you doing things which I thought were forbidden by the curly hair method and honestly it gives me relief 🙌 plus you are an actual curly hair stylist so its easier to trust you in your opinion and tips over most curly girls on YT. You are hilarious and break it down into layman's terms too which Lord knows I need 😂 thank you Mell!
I just discovered Mel! I have no idea what these 2a, 4h etc. mean. Please direct me to the right place- thanks!
@@candiceleerobey8360 you need to look at naturallycurly.com .... They have all kinds of resources and articles to help you better understand your hair type and porosity.. Plus look through mell's channel too.. I can't remember if she has one specifically on hair type but she talks about it in almost every video!
Did I just watch this 5 times and take notes? Yes, yes I did. Thank you for posting such a thorough video!
I stumbled upon this video and I’m so Glad I did my hair is curly and you have taught me a lot thank you God bless merry Christmas and happy new year 😊 I’m a UA-camr as well I can’t wait to try all these new tricks on my hair 😊
I must say your not only smart but truly talented and very funny thank you for breaking the curly hair routine down for me I’m 51 and still can’t get it right . But I think you’ve set me on the right path thank you 🙏🏽
Your videos seriously just changed my life and it’s only been 2 days since I discovered you!! 🥺🥺🥺❤️❤️❤️❤️thank you from the bottom of my heart. My hair has improved so much!
This makes me so happy! Thanks for subscribing and for the support 😍😍
I just want you to know that your videos, especially this one, are really helping me get my hair back to what it used to be. I did A LOT of damage to it in college and I thought it was ruined forever but you are really helping me out ☺️
I watched this video when it came out, but I'm watching again today (while doing my hair) because I feel I needed a refresh. Such a good video with great info!
Mel.....I am so glad I found your videos!! I have recently found curly girl groups on Facebook and this is where your video was introduced to me. You make it so less complicated!! I have had curly hair since puberty, and during my second pregnancy (a boy) my girls went into ringlets. I am now transitioning into my natural colour (grey, salt/pepper) and am excited to learn how to properly care for my curls. The first day I left a conditioner in my hair, my curls were so much better. It's all up from here!!! btw, every video you make gives me the giggles
I really appreciate your videos. I have ignored my curly hair for years but I’m getting committed. Plus straightening is a damn chore so to hell with all that!
I think girls with curly hair started paying more attention because there are products for us now not like in the past where you all find is dry , normal , greasy hair three categories
Hey beautiful! I cant believe the price of the products you use😱😱😱... Im trying to find something for hair loss and to keep my curls tighter. Im still watching your videos so i can try to figure out what i can afford... I do have to say you are the best person for giving tips and on how to use them. Thank you
I have binged more then 10 of your videos & I appreciate all this help!! Your sisters hair is more like what I have and all the tips you’ve shown on her hair I now know it’s possible to bring my curls/waves back to life!!! 🙏 !!!!!!!!!!
Fellow Aveda stylist here, just starting to wear my own pixie curly.... LOVE this video!!!
Super helpful video. It was confusing at first, but when I started using products in my hair it really made sense when I rewatched it. I have 3B hair and I'm trying a leave in conditioner, curl cream, and gel. Maybe an oil to remove the gel cast. Thanks Mell!
Thank you for this wonderful info! I am 58 years old and I am just starting this natural method. I am looking forward to the results. I am going to take your advice seriously because you look fabulous!
Im starting my curly hair journey, i have naturally 3a hair but i dont know how to take care of it. Thank you so much ive learned so much from your videos
this is hands down the BEST video I have ever seen. Its so super informative for beginners. Im going to share this with all my friends who are just starting on this journey.
Simrin Vijayakar me too, I love this video! And it never occurred to me to use multiple products… Usually I will use at most one styling product and hairspray to finish. I look forward to trying this routine!
Amanda does an amazing job editing these videos! The seesters are amazing
Mell, you're amazing! This is just the kind of video that people need to know how to care for their hairs! Most of us aren't professionals so this has been eye opening! You and your seester are so sweet and fun to watch and I look forward to your posts every week! Thank you so much 😊💗
This is one of the absolute best hair product videos! Extremely informative and well delivered. Thank you.
Your videos have changed the way I look at and care for my curly hair. You are a blessing.
I’m finally embracing my natural texture and the process seems intimidating but I’m sure once I know the routine it won’t be… I rly wonder why I straightened them before if only I’d seen the beauty sooner and didn’t listen to straight haired girls saying to “just comb through it”💀. Love this video, it was sooo helpful that’s how I want my curls to end up like. Mine are ash grey rather than blonde so I’m rly excitedddd. All in all, Beautiful✨
Can’t believe I’m just finding your page. These videos are lifesaving 😩
Same!
Amika Touchable Hairspray is really good ... AND I am now BRUSHING the product after applying it thanks to you... I do get some more shrinkage BUT my curls are definitely more defined... when my hair feels smooth I know I have applied enough... its getting better thanks MEL!! I've also tried AG re coiled curl cream with their mousse gel, and WOW... really good recommendation!!!
Hi Lisa!!! I’m so happy to hear my tips have helped you 😍 I appreciate your support and this comment a lot ❤️
got excited, did my research, went out.. NO CURLY PRODUCTS in ANY of the stores where i live. so sad. but with your tips I've made some progress with what i could find and i'm excited for the results when quarantine is over and i can get my hands on some more relevant products :)
Anika Wilson Online is great these days. I had the same issue (I live in Australia) but I found a website that had a whole section of curly girl approved products! Just google products or lines you’re interested in and you should hopefully find someone selling it in your region.
Here from Argentina, love your videos . You are very funny , I really empathize with you style. I’m starting my curly path and feeling kind of lost and confuse , but you are really helping with the process and the search of products. Here in Argentina , it’s difficult to finde exactly the same products, don’t have amazon here and COVID is complicating thing more ... but I will still trying finding my own way . Thank you, and keep on going! You’ve reach to the south ! Xoxo
Who gave thumbs down?!?!?!?!? I don't even understand! These videos are absolute curl and comedy GOLD!!!
This is the most helpful video for applying the products I’ve ever seen, so thank you so much for helping me out!
Instantly subscribed! Yassss. A curly girl who tells me the science behind it all plus a the added bonus of being hillariously witty.
Hi Beautiful , and welcome to my channel! I really appreciate you taking the time to write this and am so happy to read you are enjoying my content 😍 see you next Tuesday xo
I just Subscribed! You crack me up 😂! I have fine curly hair. I am trying to transition from blowing my hair straight to embracing my curls. Right now I am trying to figure out which products to use. I need a haircut desperately. My hair stylist is an Aveda stylist but is not a curl specialist. I live in Florida and the humidity is ridiculous in the Summer months. My coworker told me about the Deva certified curly hair stylist. I can't wait to get a dry haircut to see if being styled this way will make my curls appear healthier. I'm trying to catch up. I see alot of 2018 videos. So excited to see them all! My hair needs all the help it can get! So happy I found you on UA-cam! Thank you so much ❤️! You are giving me the inspiration to keep going on this hair journey!
Just tried your method and it works 😍😍😍...
I have watched so many videos and there are so many advices which non of them really work 😖.
Thank you so much for making these videos, all of them were very helpful 😊
You are so good at teaching us something and not be boring, that's a talent😂
Love it! This is just what I need! I have natural waves that I've been trying to learn to embrace rather than throw in a ponytail. You're really entertaining and well spoken too! 💖
I TOTALLY needed this. I was lost on how to start!!
This is honestly the most helpful UA-cam video I’ve ever seen. I’ve only been using one product. 🙈 I’m excited to try these methods!
How am I only just discovering your channel? Already obsessed 😍
Your hair is just goals! I have waist length hair and am constantly struggling with achieving great curls. I'm seriously reconsidering EVERYTHING with this mane. 😖😖😖😖
I just found your videos… I have only been using 1 product my whole life and I always hated my hair. And thought it was because my curls were too thin. I want to try what you do for your hair on mine!
Can you also send the names of what you use for your hair… are there any updates since you posted this video of what you use?
I am having a hard time finding product that works on my hair. I have purchased A LOT of products but they all give me the same result. Soft and curly on top but frizzy and dry on the bottom. A stylist told me I was maybe a 3c on top and 4b in the middle, but no one can really tell me. I can't really determine my type. That may be the bigger problem. You are the first person that actually makes sense to me. Thanks your great!!
@sonia glaster read your comment and totally felt you gurl. My hair grew back in post chemo in multiple textures and very different than it was before. I'm still figuring it out but naturallycurly.com has been a great resource (along with Mell). 😁 They have a lot of good articles and their retail site sells products by hair type too which has made things less confusing for me a lot of times. They're also great about answering questions. Best of luck to you!
I have been searching for a video like this FOR SO LONG!!!! Thank you!!!
You have so much personality and are such a blast to watch. I'm definitely going to try some of these tips!
THANK YOU for this video! There are many great products out there but I’ve often wondered how best to use them and in what order. I love many of your videos but this information has been VERY helpful! Keep up the good, no great work and I’ll keep watching and recommending your channel! 💜
I currently use 2 hair products, and I feel like that isn't enough to keep my hair looking good all day, but thanks to you I got an idea on what other products I can buy and use, Thanks.❤
Could you do a video on cheaper/drugstore products for FINE HAIR?! Pleaseeeee 😫
Sammmeeee
yesss! it’s so hard to find products for curly hair and that’s fine too! my hair is legitimate mix of fine and thick? it’s hard to explain. my hair is poofy and looks thick but if i try and put on creams, it weighs down my hair and the curls don’t look as nice.
Your video about how much product to use saved my hair. It’s been better since I watched your video than the entire time I have been trying to cgm (2 years in July). So you best bet I am taking notes!
It was really good Mell. My big problem with many curly hair tutorials is that they are almost all for hair that is dry and has some texture and courseness. My baby fine hair is not dry, and is so soft that when it has no products in it and I put my fingers into it, I can not even feel it! Hair like this needs a different approach. I just can't find too much on strange and difficult hair like mine.Get's weighed down SO easily.
I have some of the same issues! I've noticed that I can one-and-done my hair almost all the time, especially in the summer, but only really if I deep condition. That way there's a good bit of moisture in your hair already before you style. A lightweight curl cream with hold, or a very moisturizing gel, is often all I need (I have fine virgin hair with a LOOSE curl).
A serum / oil that goes in at the end that Mel mentioned really made a difference in my hair in summer though, so hey, if you're one-and-done-ing it with just a cream or gel, an added serum will not weight the hair down and will give some extra protection to the strands! And it'll make sure your hair doesn't lose too much moisture when it's super humid or super dry. You can even just rewet your hair and apply serum on refresh days.
@@lianna3814 hi! what type of serum do you use? :)
Diana Kozakova I’ve been really liking the SGX NYC serum! It does have silicones in it, a more CG option I’ve heard the Noughty and Treluxe reflex serums are really good and I wanna try them.
just found your channel and i gotta say u have the attidude of a true youtuber. you definately need more views! i am enjoying everything so far!
Hi Demi, and welcome to my channel! I really appreciate you taking the time to write this and am so happy to read you are enjoying my content 😍 see you next Tuesday xo
@@ManesByMell it's always nice to share good thoughts! i tried being a youtuber in the past and i understand how much time and effort you put into this. also, you seem to know your stuff very well, so it's just an honest opinion! i wish u the best
I love your videos cuz you come straight to the point than talking for ages...
You changed my life. Been doing this method and love my curls now
Thank you SO much!! I’ve had curly hair my whole life and I’m only now learning that I need to use product to style them without heat. My mind is BLOWN. I needed an intro video like this. Now I’d just love to see exactly how each product is applied. For ex: when you put in your hair cream, is the hair supposed to be very very wet? Do you scrunch after applying? I after brushing? Or do you only scrunch after you put in a gel? Etc? Thank you!!❤️
Dude! Hands down BEST curly hair channel on UA-cam!!! Thanks so much for this! :)
Honestly you are great, I watch your videos over an year .. and i am so greatfull for you and your steps that can help any curly girl, love you mel keep going please ♥️♥️♥️♥️😘
Lost this video and finally found it again 😩 thank the Lord ! 2025 gonna be my hair year fr
Between this and the maintenance cut
You are adorable! Thank you for teaching me how to tame my crazy curls. My hair wasn't curly until I started going through menopause.Bummer, right! LOL It just keeps getting curlier and curlier and I am LOVING it!
Is it too soon to say I love you in this relationship? 😂😂 I'm willing to risk! Omg you're the best guru/professional
This was more informative about how and when and why, etc., than any other video I've seen yet. Thank you for explaining all of this! I'm new to these methods, and products in general (I've always avoided products in my hair, fearing damage). My hair just started becoming curly 3 years ago, and has gotten quite curly as of late (not quite as curly as yours, but it's getting close). Even when my hair was straight as an arrow, it was extremely frizzy.
I was SO ready to chop off my long hair even just a week ago, but it is already improving over the last couple of weeks due to changes in products and methods. Now I'm just going to get a much needed trim on my dry ends, and keep working on improving my natural hair's health and appearance. If my hair is short, I absolutely have to style it, and I'm disabled, which makes styling extremely painful and difficult. Working with natural curls is an effort, but still less difficult than actually styling my hair.
I love your humor and personality! I've cracked up at every video of yours I've watched at least once. 😂
Reading this message brings me so much joy. It's funny how our hair changes so drastically! Products definitely make or break a hairstyle, once you find good ones and see your hair at its best, then I would decide how much needs to be cut! A big chop isn't always necessary to have healthy hair, but I definitely recommend frequent trims until your hair has recovered from previous damage! Once your curls are healthy, styling will be a breeze, even for the "disabled" 😂😂
Thank you for watching, stay tuned for more info and laughs xoxoxo
All I’ve been using is a watered down conditioner as a leave in, and a curl cream. My volume is terrible and it makes me cry. I watched your videos on applying curly hair products, the one about properly diffusing, and dos and don’t s of applying products. Hoping I can glean some good results... I’m at my wits end. Pregnant and emotional, hating my hair RN
i feel your pain. my hair is 3b/3c similar to mels and its either too dry or too soft. its so tricky!!
So binging Mell’s videos, I’ve learned SO MUCH about my own hair, technique, and products! If you’re new, I’d suggest digging deep into her “archive”, I’ve changed SO much about my routine and products and I’m finally starting to love my hair and curls again! ♥️🤗 Best wishes!
So glad I found ur page!!!! I have curly hair to my waist that I cant do much with. Now i feel like i can maybe control the frizz and tame my hair for more defined curls.
You are amazing I'm learning so much.
Could you make a video on how to cut curly hair or what questions to ask a hair dresser to know if she/he knows how to cut curly hair.
Could you make a video on why curly girls sometime get pieces of straight hair (I have a straight patch in the back but I have 2c/3b hair) and how to help it get curly again
Thank you from Hawaii
I’m so glad you have made this video . I’ve never found a video that describes what order the products that you need go in your hair. Love love love your videos !
I have fine hair as well, not as curly as yours (2c-3a), and I have definitely screwed up the order of products/put in too many and weighed down my curls. This was extremely helpful, thank you! Hopefully I’ll have better wash day results in the future.
Oh my I was so sceptical... But today I go for it. And ohmy. I look sooooo gooood 💚 Thank you so much 💚
Love, love your videos. Has made a TREMENDOUS difference in how I style my 3A curls. I use flex hairspray by Living Proof to finish off. Works well with my fine hair.
This is AMAZING. I've only been using 1 styling product and my results are mmm.. okay. Loving your videos so much 😍
Girl your videos and the tips made my hair finally look like they should!! Thank you! Keep doing what you do:D and you and your hair look gorgeous😍 btw you are so funny, your videos are LIFE!!
Hi Mell-I’m still learning through your videos and even though i feel a bit overwhelmed I’m still enjoying watching you! I really find myself cracking up here with your humor. Love it!
Would like to see you use products that are more affordable. I learned a lot from this video ..love that. I find that the products that you use are very expensive, just beyond my as a student.
debbie cameron then get affordable products for your own hair? Why would she waste money buying extra products just to use for videos when she likes what she uses lol? Use google if you’re trying to find product reviews or youtube affordable products. Besides as another hairstylist I can tell you there is not one drugstore product I would ever recommend except a specific dry shampoo. You don’t have to use exactly everything someone on youtube does not to mention everyone has different hair and needs different things
I just bought 3 aveda products she recommended. I used a 30% off my entire purchase at a drugstore. You can also buy them via the internet using ebates. Not sure if that will make the price go low enough for you, but just some tips
I’ve been seeking a video like this. I always suffer with frizz, not being able to keep moisture in and how to properly apply the products. Thank you!
