- Hello All,
I was diagnosed with fibroids in February 2021. I have decided on the UFE Procedure, I am awaiting biopsy results to determine my final choice between UFE or a Hysterectomy.
I have 3 Submucosal (located in the inner lining of my uterus)

Thank you for this. I have been where you are now. At age 42 I had an UFE and then at 44 had a total hysterectomy. I have a family history of fibroids on my mother's side, so I knew it was going to get past down to me. I am now 53 and have not looked back. I am sending you prayers! You got this sis!

Omg you’re like my fibroid twin, I have 3 that is 5,4, and 1.5 cm. I too underwent everything you talked about and my UFE procedure is February 9. They say my uterus is the size of a 6 month pregnant woman. I can’t wait to be on the other side of the procedure.

Thank you thank you thank you. I'm currently where you were in this video. My doctor awaiting a answer in which option I'm deciding to go with. UFE or full hysterectomy? I politely asked that my husband and I have time to discuss the matter for Christmas was the very next week. Now with the holidays behind us. Its decision making time. I'm totally against hysterectomy for the down time per my doctor is 6-8 weeks. UFE 2-3 Weeks and not sooo invasive. I feel I'm afraid of the first 3 days of pain and possible nausea. I will give my doctor my option on the Monday coming up. My husband and I decided UFE unless the Lord miraculous heal me naturally.
