How do T cells and B cells enter the lymphatic nodes? Is the Lymphatic system like blood vessels and its own circulation? Thank you
@@daveoliver5838 Thanks for the feedback. You could try to lower the playback speed to maybe .85x speed. There's a gear-shaped settings icon on the bottom right corner of the video where you can adjust it.
You are the reason I passed my teas test. You are incredible. God bless you and your family!!!! You are my fav science teacher, i recommend your channel to everyone struggling with anatomy.
Aw, thank you so much for the kind words and for recommending the channel! It still boggles my mind that there are people out there watching these videos. And congrats on passing the TEAS! Good luck in your nursing career!
i have an assessment tomorrow and this amazing guy who i never see in my life made it simple, easy, not complicated. you dont know how you saved my day!
This man is absolutely perfect for taking all the wording from the textbook and simply explaining it so it stays in my brain!! Where have you been all my life!! Thank you for posting all of your content! This is incredible!
You're welcome! Good luck with your studying! Also, if you're interested in easily downloadable images of everything, those are available to my Patreon patrons and channel members: www.patreon.com/siebertscience
I watched so many videos on the lymphatic system and still didn’t fully understand everything until your video! You explain everything so well and the illustrations are so helpful! Thank you so much🙏
I am studying to become a personal trainer and nutrition coach. Thank you so much for you brilliant videos - they have helped me so much. You are an amazing teacher!
Thank you for your work, it is really helpful, not like the anatomy course I am working on. Every lecture in the course is a mess of 70- 150 slides, no videos, no lectures in person only a textbook and slides. So far I worked trough approximately 1000 slides and I am so done with it. You definitely made my day. THX
Thank you so much I’m writing an exam and the lymphatic system wasn’t explained in detail in class, it was given as self study but you have made it so relatable and understandable . May God bless you and your family.
I started rebounding recently. I would like to know how our lymphatic system works. Thank God I found your channel. You are a great teacher. I learned and was well educated about the lymphatic system. Thank you. God bless 🙏❤
Thank you so much for your videos! I really appreciate your calm delivery and the way you break down the information in a much more understandable way. The illustrations are awesome too!
Thank you so so much! You truly helped me understand so much better omg. I’m a visual learner and my classes are online so I have to refer to UA-cam to help me visualize what’s going on and you helped me so much!!! Thank you!!!
Viewers might have the question “what medical specialist deals with diseases of the lymph system?” Generally the answer is a hematologist (i.e. blood doctor). Thats because essentially arteries, veins, and lymph ducts are all part of one integrated vascular system. Many hematologists further specialize into oncology (cancer docs that focus on treatments that use medications, including immunotherapy, as opposed to radiation or surgery). When I started my lymphoma journey more than a decade ago, it took a long time to get this clear!
I never comment on these things. Thank you! This video was so helpful. I almost did not watch it, but now you have a new subscriber. Looking forward to getting through this anatomy and physiology course with you!
Brilliant teaching video - thanks! Extremely well presented and illustrated and with a very valuable test and recap opportunity at the end. I shall look forward to seening more of these.
You blow up my mind, you're amazing! I'm joining with you. I am looking forward of all your discussion of all chapter of anatomy and physiology, etc., for my study. Thank you so much.

Thank you so much. Studying for the CPC exam and wish I would have seen your videos earlier. You are a GREAT teacher.
you are an amazing instructor. you broke it down so well that I understood everything the first time. I may not remember everything the first time, but I definetly understood.
Desperately interested in the immune system’s role in autoimmune diseases and anything related with it- would love to see a detailed explanation of how the immune system’s function can become so confused that it’s breaking apart itself
I have been struggling to understand all of these functions of the lymphatic system, your way of explaining everything is awesome very simple to understand thanks so much for making this channel , I pass my exams because your videos you are awesome 🙏🙏❤️
Excellent & clear explanation. I would like to add the LN of the head & Neck including: Preauricular LN, Post auricular LN, Submandibular LN , Submental LN & Occipital LN.
I've been watching all your videos on respiratory aswell cardiovascular and many more you are too good very well explained 👏 thank you sir much appreciated 👏
Love your lecture great overall explanation of the lymphatic system!! Just wanted to mention that depending on the size of the pores & their number in different tissues determines if and how much protein will pass through the capillary membrane in to the interstitium. Egz : brain has tight junctions and allows mostly H20 ,O2 and CO2 to pass but no protein while liver clefts/pores are so wide that they allow passage of almost all particles present to pass through them and later enter in venous part. But since 1/10th of fluid isn’t entering the venous part of the capillary due to net filtration beeing slightly positive in normal healthy capillaries (means that there is a small amount of fluid left in interstitium after reapsorption into venous part of capillaries occurs) there is also a accumulation of protein in the intersitial fluid needed to be transported(especially in interstital fluid of tissues with highly permeable capillaryes with wide pores) .Due to that lymphatic system also has a big function in transporting protein. Also protein concentrations in the interstitium differ from tissue to tissue due to the permeability of capillaries. (This is according to guyton hall text book chapter 16 regarding microcirculation and its connection with the lymphatic system.)
Thank you for this informative video. I'm studying Immunology on my own through lectures of different reliable Speaker's and your video on the Lymphatic system is great, except for some scientific terms which are not spelled correctly in the captions. Other than this I've learned a lot to add to my knowledge about the IMMUNE SYSTEM. God bless you more.😅
I am so happy you posted this ❤❤ I am in massage school so this helps a bit at least the basics of it to have an idea but of course in our school it’s more detailed but it’s good to know at least some of the basics of it and do you also teach physiology as well and different types of sicknesses
Glad it was helpful! I'm never quite sure how in-depth and detailed to go. Sounds like it would have been more helpful to be a bit more detailed in this one?
@SiebertScience I just found you, so will be reviewing all your bids. You have a gift for communicating the facts straight and simple. But expanding on this comment, do you ever build on a given system to include things that can go wrong, such as chronic disease, or in this case, lymphoma? Thanks for the info!
