Good reviews, but newbies should understand that there is no privacy with 'privacy codes'. When enabled, those codes merely mute other traffic on the channel; or put another way, only allow reception of your partner radio(s). You can still cause and receive interference to/from others on that channel. And others monitoring that channel will be able to hear anything you say. So don't say anything you wouldn't want your mom or kids to hear.
I like the Dewalt radio that has 2 watts but that Motorola talk about t-801 looks good but you said something about having to be in line of site with each other. Maybe you said that was with data or text messages. Thanks for the vid though. Really good picks.
the DeWalt is like you dept store radio 12 floors up an the rorial floor space on first floor only won't reach past the brick walls sorry 1& 1/2 watt of talk power backless a child locater with a 2 miles leash and moma is in mission control center
Overpriced rebadge of a Zastone radio. Retevis, Radiodity, and even Baofeng have proper FRS radios with 2watts, and lithium ion batteries. Wouxun has a prosumer superhutodyne FRS radio for $99
@@MrVelasquez I’m not a radio guy but the rocky talkie I use would work great very clean and clear sound I’ve used mine in my house talking to another radio 2 miles away past 50 houses and a small forest in a bog and it works great but does cost just under $100 per radio and there could be something cheaper for your needs but I wouldn’t be able to recommend anything besides the rocky talkie which is fantastic and would work great for what your looking for though maybe there’s something cheaper that would work as well hope this helps.
just checked the bio these are F R S radio's only not G M R S we have a 1 mile leash in town line of site with collar and mama is at mission control on duty.
every F R S G M R S radio made to day is under F C C rules for power and that is 1&1/2 watts only so there is your 2 miles or line of site that is what mine run but I am up with the big boys running 5 watts OR 45 watts in base using a tower grid of 6 covering three county's. with a license and I talk 20 miles every day and link up with Chicago twice a month.
It’s so Funny when people believe what they want to hear or like to hear they are happy only just for this is the truth; and they told me to take care what I comment did I say any lies if anyone tell me that I am a liar 😅😅😅😅😅
Hi there there is not a chance about this radios to be for 35 miles you can be Like lucky and vary happy 😆 😅😅😅😂😂😂 if you are on 3 kilometers in miles it Half a mile but it’s Always a solution just scream I would hear you more loud
that is perty bad for you I have a license and that radio is family service only so 2 miles on a sunnie day or line of site I would go with line of site and be happy it is a kiddie radio

This might be the best computer generated voice I’ve heard yet.

short story two radio only talk to each other BUT everyone with in a 12 block airea can hear you anyway
all three radios have a 2 mile range just like mine but mine do not all the extra button's and
are built for off road and still do 2 miles
thay cost 150. each you get what you pay for thay were bought in a real radio shop
not a big box store like these

Unless you a hitting a repeater, these radios are good for 0.5 to 1 mile depending on terrain.
Good for kids.
Think I like the rocky talkie better than all of these options
Thanks for sharing! I haven't heard of this radio, I will have to check it now and review it sometime in the future :)

What’s the best to use for in home? In a 3 floor home?

How Can I Order A Handle Police Radio
Call the police and place an order.
I have the apx hand held as a former police cadet.
OR I can set you up with a sds 100 police radio for 649.99 if you want
it will pick up anny call not increped you in or out
just checked the bio these are F R S radio's only not G M R S
we have a 1 mile leash in town line of site with collar and mama

I'll go with DeWalt, because the lithium ion battery is so much better nickel cadmium. Li holds a charge and lasts a hell of a lot longer.
You're thinking of nickel metal hydride batteries. Nickel cadmium batteries have pretty much been phased out around twenty years ago.
I can run mise for four hr's on a charge but I have a back up battery.
I saw that the t801 also has gmrs
FRS & GMRS share all 22 channels. Unfortunately the T800 is capped at .800mwatts on high.
there is no high you are at one half of one watt only F C C rules are in
forced
Dewalt was crap, Couldnt pick up my son from three city streets away. Overpriced junk.
Thanks, I'd been considering a DeWalt for the ruggedness but if it's that far behind the others in range I'll look for something else.
I'm very happy with my 800 (2 watt - USB-C) Dewalt's, never had a problem with them -
