Time to install and chat about DCT upgrades for the RS3 / TTRS, in this video we upgrade the hydraulic Mechatronic tubes & Orings, Billet flywheel and clutch for the RS3's DQ500 transmission.

Pups are doing really well, Hera took longer than expected to adjust, but she’s acclimating very nicely 🙏

did you put the centrat bearing in the cranck the one for thegeaarbox main shaft??:D if not you will have gearbox oil leak

would it not be safer to lube the o-rings with DSG fluid rather than standard grease? Standard grease won't contaminate the fluid?
Used the same grease installing them last year and didn’t see any transmission issues, but who knows you might be right. While we don’t think a tiny bit of grease would do any harm, we will keep everyone updated as we progress and start raving this season. If we notice any issues that could indicate contamination we will adjust 💪💪
Ultrachem assembly fluid is the best installation lube I know. Compatible with all oils

Hey, mate! I'd like to ask you for a little help, I need to change the orings of the oil pipes in my Transporter T5 because they're old and deteriorated, but I don't seem to find a good quality set, here in Italy, can you, please tell me the sizes of the orings so I can search them? I'm not making more than stage1, so I don't need any updated pipes Thank you very much.

If you threw one of these upgraded clutch kits onto a stock RS3 do you think it would last longer than a stock clutch? Or is it just a complete waste of money on a stock or mild tuning set up. Ive had mine new since 17' got about 60k miles on it. Almost out of warranty. Not looking to go big power but maybe do full bolt ons in the near future. I wasnt sure if it was worth upgrading/replacing the OEM one for this kind of application. Just wondering your thoughts.
George is the transmission completely dry? Did the new clutches get pre-lubed?

We actually got it running and driving last year with stock 3.2 VR6 motor, put about 15k miles on it driving to events, work, cruising. And we took her off the road in late October for the full rewire and engine build.
