What’s crazy is, I’ve heard this song a trillion times, and I still get massive goosebumps when that solo hits. I don’t know what it is, other than magic.
They were four of the most talented each in their own right. They wrote and produced their own and sounded the same in concert. Innovative and creative always experimenting with new and different sounds. Greates rock band EVER!
this reaction alone made me a subscriber. Loved it. Zeppelin was based in the blues and were 4 of the most talented musicians in their craft. Thank you-cannot wait to see more Zep reactions.
What a great reaction! Thank you! I grew up on Led Zepplin (born in 73') and they are an amazing staple of my favs. Take a listen to Kashmir, Whole Lotta Love, Ramble On or When The Levee Breaks - all amazing. Also If you find you like Zepplin, I highly recommend Pink Floyd - I would start with Comfortably Numb, Wish You Were Here, High Hopes or Another Brick In The Wall. Just for diversity, a great rock song, based off a Houston Rappers song 25 Lighters, ZZ Top did I Gotsta Get Paid - it's Fire & I think you might like it. For more of their blues side you could check out Waiting For The Bus/Jesus just left Chicago. Rock has amazing diversity, so I think you'll enjoy the rabbit hole! Subscribed! Thanks again!
Loved your reaction! Would love you to do, Since ive been loving you, when you get time! So many great Led Zepp songs!! You need to check out Pink Floyd too! They will blow your mind!
Really enjoyed your reaction. Welcome to the classic rock rabbit hole. It goes on forever. So many great, talented bands from the 1960s and 1970s. I highly recommend reacting to Grand Funk Railroad - Inside Looking Out 1969. It’s a live video.
AND as we wind on down the road, our shadows taller than our souls, there walks a lady we all know, who shines bright light and wants to show, how everything still turns to gold, and if you listen very hard, the truth will come to you at last, when one is all, and all is one, to be a rock, and NOT to roll, ....The lady, finds salvation, finds the true light to heaven. And its still ALL GOLD! When you give up your materialistic ways!
I'm glad you enjoyed your first real experience listening to (PF) They have such a huge collection of music to explore. I'd like to suggest another one of their songs, but I think it would be a more enjoyable/ memorable experience to watch them live. "Led Zeppelin - Since I've Been Loving You (Live at Madison Square Garden 1973) [Official Music Video]" I enjoyed your reaction, it's refreshing to hear your honest analysis. Thanks for sharing👍🎶💖🤗
This song was so loved, there were numerous radio stations ( no internet, no itunes, only the radio stations to listen too) that played Stairway on repeat for 24/7
Another couple Led Zeppelin songs I'd recommend are "In My Time of Dying" and "Dazed and Confused." If you like good guitar playing you also need to check out Stevie Ray Vaughan (pronounced Vonn). He was incredible and sadly died at age 35 in a helicopter crash on his way to another performance. You should start with his song: "Texas Flood" live at El Mocambo. You've got to watch this man play!
‘I think I like Rock music now bro’ 😂. You made me laugh and happy at the same time. Subscribed ‘cause you’re the new generation that now has to explain a few things to your friends. 🌞Led Zep is the GOAT of classic rock IMO. You’re at the tip of a huge ROCK ICEBERG because their layered musical tunes are wide and vast in style and sounds. They were unique, powerful, ingenious, innovative, a bit rebellious and most definitely sex driven young rock Gods in the ‘70’s. They also took some very old school folk and blues tunes and decades later,- turned them into rock, layered with blues, folk and even a touch of jazz (Bonhams original drumming background was jazz/blues and why he’s so smokin hot on drums. With headphones on, cannot recommend enough you check out; DAZED AND CONFUSED SINCE I’VE BEEN LOVING YOU WHEN THE LEVEE BREAKS Oh so many smokin tunes. Live version of THE SONG REMAINS THE SAME / THE RAIN SONG (from Madison Square Gardens in 1973!!! They were at the top of their hiatus and ON FIRE! 🔥 🔥 🔥 Some bands can only play auto tuned studio songs … Led Zep actually PLAYED live concert with precision and burned the house down. People were stampeding to get tickets and when they toured to the US, it was anticipated and spoken about months in advance and years later. You’ll see. Enjoy the journey. ✌🏼❤️
No auto tune back then…all instruments played as well…Depends on the band for airpod appreciation…certain groups panned some instruments back and forth from ear to ear and it needs to be heard to be appreciated 🖖🏻🇨🇦
The members of Zep were born in England around the time that WW II ended ... Computers, cell phones were not commonplace Life, people were so so different So very different from today
What you need to do now is watch the live performance, so you can see all the musicians and instruments being played at the same time with Robert singing. Even though I'm partial to the studio recording it's a killer experience watching it performed live. 👍
Hell naw he paused it lol Youre new so you get a pass but NEVER EVER EVER EVER pause a solo lol Keep the reactions coming. Diggin em and watch your friends end up liking rock music too lol Check out •"Babe Im Gonna Leave You" •"Since Ive Been Loving You" •"I Cant Quit You Baby" •"Rock and Roll" •"Dazed and Confused" Edit: He said might not know who Outkast is lmao Been listening to them since '98
THis was made before computer generated music. This band comprised musicians who were all virtuosos. The best rock drummer ever, best rock vocalist ever, one of the best bass players ever and one of the most influential ad nest rock guitarists ever. And that's the opinion of other top musicians.
funny you should mention Outkast, they sampled the zeppelin track "Black Country Women" in their song "Elevators" plus a few other tracks as well. don't let your rap friends give you toc much hassle about Rock, where do you think the rappers get their "samples" from? Led Zeppelin has their collective DNA all over the Rap world.
You need to watch live to get the full affect. You will see Robert Plant singing solo and Jimmy Page playing the guitar and his guitar solo is longer and both gets wild. No the music is not computerized. You gotta' watch and listen to the live version.
If your that new to rock here's some suggestions that will blow your mind. Yes-Roundabout, Smoke on the Water, Bridge of Sighs, Frankenstein, 46 and 2, Dream On, In a Gadda da vida, the group Steely Dan enjoy😊
this is a good start for 70's music. You should try some Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody to start, Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, and by then you should be hooked on 70's music and want to hear all of their songs and the 100's of other great bands from the 70's.
BTW I listen to a lot of reaction videos and my favorite song to watch young people react to is Bohemian Rhapsody just because of the look of sheer awe and amazement on their faces hearing the legendary Freddie Mercury (singer and piano) Brian (guitar) Roger (drums), and John (bass).
Kashmir would be a good next choice from Led Zeppelin. EARPHONES!! 😄 Keep those earphones handy - especially if you decide to explore Pink Floyd. My friend, there is SO MUCH fantastic music that you've missed out on. That it's finding you is just awesome. Sit back, buckle up, and prepare for the ride of your life! It's going to change you.... but only in a good way. 😏
do the audio original of all first BEFORE any live renditions improvised later those authentic original studio recording masterpieces are exactly exactly what is in peoples souls the authentic originals we all heard like.... DAZED AND COFUSED YOU SHOOK ME HEARTBREAKER THE LEMON SONG SINCE IVE BEEN LOVIN YOU WHEN THE LEVEE BREAKS BRING IT ON HOME HOW MANY MORE TIMES ROCK AND ROLL WHOLE LOTTA LOVE the original studio of the above is IN PEOPLES SOULS INCLUDING MINE
Love OutKast ❤️🔥 Stankonia is my jam! B.O.B., Xxplosion? (can't remember the name) and..."Don't everybody like the smell of _Gasoline_ ? Well, burn MFr, burn American _Dreams_ ", but best of all, Gangsta Shit! I don't understand why nobody EVER mentions that song?! It's the best hip hop song I've ever heard (ok, Idk if that's true, I mean, I Got 5 On It, Go To Church, Rock Box, Car Thief, Jump Around, UGK-Touched ...there's too many to do a real top ten or even top 100, but his 🍄voice & 🎶 guitar & 💓 bass?! 💪❤️🔥💋 👻. That song motivated me to get a decent system in my car. That & Beastie Boys' "Hello, Brooklyn" 🤤 ua-cam.com/video/L0uvKk4S7CY/v-deo.html You NEED to give a listen to Zeppelin, "Dazed & Confused" & "Kashmir" from the Mothership album, if it has both of those songs, idk, just not live, that's what's most important.
None of it is computer generated. Computers weren't around in the general population in the 70s. Good reviews. It seems you have a high level of sensitivity to music.
Dude you don't have to like a certain genre of music. I listen to a song I Don't Care what genre it is if it sounds good and I like it and I'm listening to it. I don't care if it's rap country rock I just listen to the music. But I'm going to tell you rock is my passion led Zeppelin is my group. You want me to disappointed if you go down the rabbit hole with him and you will find true love rock more than you thought you would never some beautiful music and rock and roll.
It's 1971 when this came out so no computers. LOL.
There was no computer crap back then, just talent bro!
What’s crazy is, I’ve heard this song a trillion times, and I still get massive goosebumps when that solo hits. I don’t know what it is, other than magic.
No auto tune, just pure talent.
All instruments are being played organically - Robert Plant - Vocals.. Jimmy Page - Guitar..John Bonham - Drums..Bass Guitar - John Paul Jones
Great reaction! I am over here in the corner patiently waiting for your reaction to their song Kashmir. 😉
You just heard my reason to live in the 70s! You do rock music and it ain’t devil music. It’s the people’s music. I love that you love it
Do this live at Madison Square Garden...you can see them in action and yes, they play all the instruments. Also greatest guitar solo live
love your reaction. that shit was geniune af. Outkast is lit af too
They were four of the most talented each in their own right. They wrote and produced their own and sounded the same in concert. Innovative and creative always experimenting with new and different sounds. Greates rock band EVER!

Stairway to Heaven was released on November 8, 1971
It IS the #1 song of ALL-TIME on FM Radio
I could listen to this (and most "classic" rock songs) a million times and it ALWAYS sounds awesome. Enjoy Zep, my friend
Its so cool to see your emotional reaction to this...its been my favorite song for 50 years.

Legend Led Zepplin❤

Welcome to the world of LED Zeppelin my friend!
First heard this in 71 as a 9 yr old. Been a mega fan ever since!! So nice to see you get it man!! LZ Forever!!
Your journey has just begun.
Love ur empathy and open mindedness
You should start with the first album. Some of their best tracks. Blues tracks “You Shook Me” “Babe I’m gonna leave you””I can’t quit you babe”
I was in Nam listening to this despite their anti war stance.
Jimmy page on guitar! He found it in cold empty basement age 11 taught himself
Another couple Led Zeppelin songs I'd recommend are "In My Time of Dying" and "Dazed and Confused." If you like good guitar playing you also need to check out Stevie Ray Vaughan (pronounced Vonn). Great reaction! This song is definitely a 10!
Although I have heard this a zillion times, I really can't argue with it being in the top 10 of all time.
This is one of the best songs ever written

Yes Beautiful❤
It would still be a better listening experience with a good set of over-the-ear headsets or a very nice home sound system with 10" or 12" woofers!
Have a listen to when the levee breaks and just so you know its headphones all the way with Zeppelin

Led Zepplin best rock group ever. And yes, I know Outkast.
Just the beginning, expand your horizons. You won't regret it.
You should try listening to TOOL. their song "the pot" is probably the best place to start 👌
