Great to see people of different cultures enjoy the music we the older generation have been brought up on. Just goes to show, great music has no boundaries.
I love Led Zeppelin since the early seventies - Yes, I'm older but it doesn't matter. I want to thank you for sharing - Best wishes @all from hamburg (germany)
Led Zeppelins influence can't be measured they have inspired so many musicians, fans, and genres of music. There are only a handful of bands that have achieved that amount of success. Kashmir is another one of their epic songs, a must listen. Appreciate your reaction, music is universal, and sharing it with one another brings people together 😀
Page could make his guitar sing, cry, wail, laugh - he could bring any emotion to light with his guitar. And their stage presence is off the charts; have you ever seen two guys with more charisma and sensuality than Page and Plant - unbelievable really.
I'm so glad you liked the song. I knew you would. If you want to hear it with your eyes closed, I highly suggest the studio version so you can hear it how we all first heard it on the radio. I hope will explore Led Zeppelin on your channel. Some song suggestions: Black Dog, Whole Lotta Love, Kashmir, When the Levee Breaks, Immigrant Song, What is and What should Never Be, Heartbreaker, and Rock N Roll. You could have a Led Zeppelin reaction day by reacting to several in one day. 😁
I highly recommend you also listen to the studio version, the one that released on the album. Everyone has their own experience with this song. The studio version has a greater emotional impact for me.
I think this goes for any song being listened to for the first time. In this particular case, the studio version is one of the best produced songs in their catalog.
I'm glad you didn't break the #1 rule NEVER interrupt a guitar solo. Especially one of Jimmy Page's. That solo was completely improvised by Jimmy on the spot. The band members are: Lead singer -Robert Plant Guitarist-Jimmy Page Bassist/keyboardist- John Paul Jones Drummer- John "Bonzo" Bonham. Each are one of if not the best of what they do. If you'd like to see why John "Bonzo" Bonham is the greatest drummer in history check out the concert version of 'Moby Dick". It's about 15 minutes but if you like drums it's a must listen.
One of the most beautiful songs ever written and Robert Plant has such a great voice. Just pure excellence. Jimmy Page on guitar, John Bonham on drums and John Paul Jones on Bass, what a fantastic band this was! I never get tired of hearing this song. Like all of the best bands of this era, each member had to excel or the band would not thrive. There were so many great musicians at this time and being a real musician meant that you spent time living and honing your craft, there were no technical tools to help you, you were on your own. Pure talent and hard work.
You nailed it, he's a magician, him and his talking guitar. The whole group are magicians. What an astounding song, a mix a fabulous music and mystically dreamy lyrics.
That was really enjoyable watching/experiencing that with you two, that song came out 51 years ago! Another favorite guitar song (very different feeling) Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd- I like the album version more than the live.
"Stairway to Heaven" was voted number three in 2000 by VH1 on its list of the 100 Greatest Rock Songs, In 2004 Rolling Stone magazine ranked "Stairway to Heaven" number 31 on its list of "500 Greatest Songs of All Time". It was the most requested song on FM radio stations in the United States in the 1970s, despite never having been commercially released as a single there.
Certainly, a time to be thankful for technology that allowed such performances to last. To see our Loud Guys enjoy this for the first time was a pleasure.
Well the 1970's was great time for music. This band was awesome along with others. Great concerts. Enjoyed your reaction to led zeppelin and yes 12/6 double neck played by Jimmy Page.
You two are really fantastic reactors… I watch pretty much every Led Zeppelin reaction vid that comes out… you guys are so much better then most. The solo in this live version has inspired me to no end, it can lift me from a dark mood, it’s magic. There are SO many more great songs from this band, I’ve subbed so I don’t miss any more that you do 👍 if you need suggestions for other songs to react to my next recommendation would be “the song remains the same/ the rain song” two songs that are meant to be played together… from this same concert. …actually anything from this concert is well worth checking out.
if you liked this,, you have to watch "since ive been loving you" live,,,, you will be blown away... the concert was 1973 at Madison Square Garden,, the movie came out in 1976.. you need to search "Led Zeppelin The Song Remains The Same 1976 HD" that will be the movie release full hd,, or you can just search the single song live.. but the full concert is a journey you dont want to miss..
This was the greatest band in history! Greatest talented musicians! Watch all their stuff and live performances...they don't make a bad song...I'm not kidding!!

This is the second time I've watched this video with you. I grew up with Led Zeppelin and enjoying this song with you was almost like listening to it for the first time. If you ever come to Chicago, there are a few blues spots you'd love. Have a beautiful day!
You're in the 70's ....you must do Lynyrd Skynyrd live at Oakland Stadium in 1977 called "Free Bird" ....sadly 1/2 of them died in a plane crash 2-3 months after this performance.
The top guitar is a 12-string guitar and tends to sound like bells. The bottom is a 6-string guitar. Page uses the 12 string from the start, and switches to the "harder hitting" 6-string for the solo performance. In case you wondered :).

Led Zeppelin's guitarist Jimmy Page and singer Robert Plant reunited for 2 albums and 2 tours, 15 years after the band broke up. Page and Plant's version of Zep's classic THE BATTLE OF EVERMORE is amazing, and you must see it.
Robert Plant never really said what this song was supposed to be about but I think it’s one of those songs that can be interpreted however you want it either it’s about Christianity or paganism or materialism it’s really up to the listener
John Paul Jones doesn't get as much attention as Plant and Page, but he is a wonderful musician; Led Zeppelin's "No Quarter" showcases JPJ's keyboard skills.
How are they doing that? Gotta love it! No matter how bad I feel, Led Zeppelin always gives me an uplifting feeling. Tangerine is a beautiful song, and is the only song that makes me sad. Must be the minor chords 😊
I'll suggest a guitarist for you to listen to that will show emotions without even singing a note...his name is Gary Moore and the song is "The Messiah Will Come Again". I think you'll enjoy.
On an entirely different note, I think you'd really enjoy The Flower Duet from Leo Delibes' opera _Lakmé._ It is perhaps the most beautiful female duet in all of opera. The duet is sung by Lakmé, a Hindu priestess, daughter of the Brahmin priest Nilakantha, and her handmaiden Mallika. In it Lakmé asks Mallika to go with her down to the riverside to gather flowers. (Lakmé is a French version of the name Lakshmi.) There are many videos of the duet on youtube, most of them in concert versions rather than scenes from a fully staged opera. Of these my favorite is this one, sung by the great Russian soprano Anna Netrebko, singing Lakmé, and the wonderful Latvian mezzo-soprano Elīna Garanča, singing Mallika. ua-cam.com/video/hrm59zqCKEU/v-deo.html
Well... greetings from Canada. Seen you once before, but hadn't subbd. But I did today because of the glint in the lady's eye from the power, swag and charisma of Robert Plant. Turns out the music was nigh perfection as well. Peace, love and bellbottoms.

The singer, Robert Plant, married a Indian woman a little before this concert and I believe had a kid or two with her. Then at some point he left her for her sister. LOL. Led Zeppelin was the biggest rock group from the 70's and this is very often voted the greatest song in rock history. Even today.

Led zeppelin is forever ,just like the Beatles and the rolling stones, try Kashmir another classic song!!but if you want a culture shock watch movies like The Exorcist"scariest movie ever!!or try Godfather .i enjoy your views , if its comedy then try princess bride or Richard jeni (comedian) or Christopher Titus, brilliant stand up!! good luck, from L A California!!

I like ALL of Led Zeppelin's songs - they are the only band I can say that about.

Yea from Knebworth or the later one from the Celebration concert, either one is good. Knebworth is purer but I like the celebration one.
The band is one of those bands
I recommend you listen to the definitive live version of Kashmir from their 2007 O2 performance. You will not regret it !!!
A couple of Led Zeppelin songs you should react to is 'The battle of Evermore' and 'Kashmir'. Most everything by Led Zeppelin is good rock music.
Definitely Battle of Evermore! So underappreciated!
thats the way
I'm so happy that you reacted to this song. The stairway lies on the whispering wind. It cannot be bought with gold.
Their performance of Since I’ve Been Loving You from the same show is another must watch!
The whole movie is a must watch, especially all 29 minutes of Dazed and Confused.
