Well i gotta say that you saved my life dear Laura,1 month ago when i first discovered ur channel i was anorexic i just couldn't eat anything everything seem so gross, then i slowly followed ur recipes and tried to cook and it bringed back the will to life and the joy to eat, thank you so much!
That looks beyond good. Looks very healthy, fresh and delicious!
remember what i always say, you're the boss in your own kitchen. I am the boss in my kitchen therefore i prepare dishes how i like them and i'm not going to defend myself anymore.
That is a beautiful salad ! I will be making this very soon ! I recently made your granola, and my parents, boyfriend and myself loved it ! You, honestly, are my idol in cooking ! Every time I try a new recipe, someone is bound to ask me if its another recipe from Laura Vitale? So thank you so much for what you do !
isn't it so great to experiment with recipes and add things you particularly like!! That's the beauty of cooking, adding in whatever you fancy :)
My friend served this dish with biryani and fattoush and it was soooo delicious. Good to see this salad from here. I love it!
This salad looks sooo beautiful! Thank you Laura!
Lovee it! I was looking for an easy recipe for the Tabouleh recipe for so long! So so so glad you did this!
I love this salad I am turkish and we have a similar dish called kisir but we don't cook the bulgur.. We just pour over boiling water and let it soak.
Exactly! and it's so intersting when you have different backgrounds and mix and match food items! ( for example I'm half Greek and German + lived in the States) That's the beauty of it: being creative, eating clean, healthy and well and always keeping it interesting for yourself in the kitchen and of course for your family!
I absolutely love your show!!! Please keep up the good work! :) God bless you!
I've been making this for years, I love it! I use Roma tomatoes, other than that, our recipes match! :) I also love to put it in a flour tortilla with some shredded cheese, like a burrito. I also just top a green salad with it.
@LauraVitalesKitchen i love it when u now started cooking delicacies from other places..thank u so much for being my idol!huhu
thank you so much love!!! i'm so glad you feel this way :)
Laura I love the recipe for your tabouleh! I also make it very often with a hundred different ingredients! But I will definitely try it with lemon zest! Thank you!!!!
PS: You are absolutely right about the 1 hour fridge time, I think the next day it's even better!!!
great recepie laura. thank u
Oh. My. God....! This woman (Laura) is reading my mind!!!
ooh I need to try this in summer when cucumbers and tomatoes are in season!
i am well aware that many people make this recipe differently. This is just how i like to make it. I never said i was Lebanese so this may not be the authentic way to make it, it's just my way
I think Laura's version of Tabouleh Salad looks great. We make this salad a lot where I'm from, but that doesn't mean there can't be different variations of this recipe. If someone wants to change it up a bit then why not? On most of Laura's videos I always see people commenting saying things to Laura because she didn't make the recipe the 'authentic way'. If she wants to add her own twist then that's awesome.
sounds so yummy!! Thanks for the support
My mom always puts a stick of lettuce like so that you can like use it as a spoon its super cool!
geez people chill out & get off your high horse. laura's recipes are her interpretation. You don't make everything super authentic everytime you cook. seesh!!!
laura, this looks freaking delicious. I make the same thing except substituting cilantro for the parsley & mint & it's so good. my favorite type of food is stuff like this, refreshing & perfect for summer!
love the modern twist on a classic!
thanks Laura (:
I was like "Ooooo! She's showing her cutting skills today! That's rare" before you said you wana hang out :D I can watch this all day, everyday..
Looks delicious! I've been making a LOT of quinoa lately, so time to add something new. Thanks for sharing this recipe.
here in jamaica we use Bulgar wheat in the form of a delicious breakfast porridge...but i want to try this...it new!! but looks awesome!
When you are cooking a meal and filming are you cooking it for the first time or have you already tried it before???
This looks super yummy! I will give it a try. I can't keep up with all your recipes but it sure is fun to try!
Have you ever considered doing some regular day to day vlogging to accompany your cooking videos?
Laura can you make vids on quick, healthy, but delicious breakfast recipes?
OMG I JUST DISCOVERED TABOULEH AND NOW U DID A RECIPE ON IT
My dad loves this...i will make it for him today...thank you laura..:D
I love that you actually prep the food in front of us this time (: Rather than everything was done before hand and you combine/cook them :D We can "hang out" more by you doing this lol
I love your recipes! Keep it up!!
This is great stuffed in a pita with hummus...yummy!
aaa finallyyyy!!!!thank you Laura..I do 1,5 cups of water for 1 cup of bulgur wheat as well!! Thank you for the tips!!!! I hate watery tabouleh as well..I also ignore the instruction and add boiled water to the bulgur wheat, wrap the pan/bowl tightly for 5 minutes, instead of boiling it. :) I am a rebel :)
hey laura, if you don't mind me asking, i was just curious to know what your italian name was? cuz in china, we have like 2 names kinda, so i was curious if its the same in europe.
Precaution!! : If you wanna watch laura's videos, watch them while you eating. :D
Thank goodness you posted this!!! I was trying to.figure out what that tabouleh stuff was lol
Aw i loved how you were like "we couldn't get to hang out" youre such a sweetheart =) love you laura and love your food! =)

is it supposed to be served hot or cold?
Hey laura, amazing recipe .will try soon. Thanks a lot.I am from India and i want to know your favourite indian dish.
Loveeee!:D
in France, we do Taboulé (tabouleh) with 75% of the total amount of fresh Parsly, 25% is Semoule (semolina), we add chunks of lemon, with its zest, chunks of tomatoes, cucumbers too and LOTS of fresh mints.... Mmmm, now i'm hungry... lolll
Making this tomorrow! Thank you for your videos ..
how often do you sharpen your cooking knives?
Can you please show us how you cook Paella?
I love tabouleh as well! We eat it a lot during summer and we actually make it the exact same way as you xD
sorry guys..but what wheat does laura used in this vid n where can i find some?
Love you Laura ! That looks delicious ! :)
i just ate something but now i'm hungry AGAIN!
Wonder how it would taste with Kashi 7 grains? Pam
I am going to make this.
hi laura, thanks for the great salad and also today i am having tabouleh salad =)
i would like to ask you for another salad! it's tuna with rise salad.. i tried it once in a french lady house and i loved it so much , i made that salad long time ago and now i forgot the recipe
please help me if you got any idea how to make a tuna salad with rise =)
thanks in adavance ^^ xx
Would this recipe work with quinoa?
Aw I love Ur channel Laura ur such a doll :)
Could you make some home made spinash and ricotta ravioli? I know its a complicated recipe but would really love to try it out! :D Like so she can see? :)
You really can make everything
Is there another vegetable that could replace the cucumber and be good in this, possibly be similar in nutrients? I am unable to eat cucumber because it upsets my stomach (which I find odd since I can eat and very much love pickles, but oh well, lol). The salad sounds amazing though.
It makes sense it would be better after sitting a while. The salt would force the veggies to release their juices and that would just be soaked up by that wheat. It would be amazing. :D
try some pomegranate syrup with this or in general salads , deeelicious
Hi Laura, Do you have a recipe for Guacamole? Thanks.
Hi Laura! I don' t know if there is something wrong with the page (or my eyes :-D), but I can' t find the recipe for the tabouleh salad... :-S
Looks great Laura, will definitely try this out. But you did miss something: "so Good"
Why is everyone saying "this is not made like this.. is like this..." get over people, if you like to do it different, DO IT, if she made it that way is because she likes it that way, i'm sure she knows exactly how the "original" is made!
haha so funny before i saw your video, i was just making tabouleh but with what i had on hand: classic mint sauce, coriander, olive oil, lemon juice, chicken & tomato! Probably not as good as yours but still yummy!
The lebanese Tabouleh is known for its tiny tiny tiiiinyyyy vegies, even the tomatoes should be chopped in very tiny pieces. Also, the amount of parsley shoud be more than the cucumber. Hoever, this looks yummy too !!
does the bulgar need to be pre-washed like rice?
We Middle Easterners have the best food :) Tabouleh is one of my favorites.
looks soo good! def enjoyed hanging out ;)
How interesting, I always add my bulgar cold, may try it this way. Sometimes I also add coriander
Hear hear! If people disagree with how you do things, they can come out with their OWN online video cooking show.
hmm. looks great ..
i wanna volunteer clean up the mess after the cooking!
Ohhhh, toss in a jar of that fancy ventresca tuna (canned belly tuna) and that'd a GREAT lunch!
ARAB AND PROUDD of TABOULEHHH
Keep in mind ALL recipes are a little different from place to place due to the availability of ingredients.
I hate tabbouleh but I still love you Laura :)
laura you're beautiful and your life is so amazing and such a supportive husband
2nd comment! Laura mi amore TI AMO!! I LOVE YOU AND IS YOUR NO.1 FAN FOREVER!!
yay!!! love u laura!
I would've added vinegar to bring out the tang in the salad.
How do you do your hair like that??
TACOS PLEASE!
:) im sure all the arabs on youtube were telling you how to make and how not to make tabouli lol (im arab btw), and we're very proud of our traditional dishes, but sometimes we cant seem to stop ourselves from telling each other how to breathe right... so anyway :) good dish and thanks for putting up something arab. i love all your dishes and most of my cooking is italian based. oh and this is not how you make tabouli (joke)
Very nice
Respect to all, but there is no way to making a dish EXACTLY or INCORRECT. What is exact, is what you like. That way everyone can enjoy all the wonderful foods around the world.
When my mama makes it i believe she uses cuscus tho
I need a good recipe for Lemon ice cream. Not sorbet lemon ice cream.. creamy lemon ice cream. Just like the one from Häagen-Dazs 5 ingredients line. Delicious! just need to know how to make it at home. do you know?
You should have a tab that says ARABIC food and another one for ITALIAN and another one for GREEK another one for AMERICAN etc.. :)
@teeheepowah this reminds me of fattoush salad, all she needs to do is sprinkle some sumac, no burghul, leave the mint n parsley leaves whole (no chopping), slices of radish, a bit of promegranate molases and crispy fried square cut arabic bread...tadaaaaa.... Fattoush! :D
It is so different . We use a lot of fresh parsley and never used cucumber . And our bulgur is white and big? !
wow thats the weirdest way ive seen it done before . Its a cold fresh salad , she made a hot warm salad. well thats why there a million recipes out there
in turkey, they call this kisir.
