I thought so at first also, but it turns out that he got scammed. The other guys lied about their engine horsepower. It's like cheating at the weigh-in before a fight. If you put money down on a middleweight fight, and Tyson Fury steps into the ring with you instead, you'd not pay up either.

Never thought I'd say this, but I agree with the Lambo owner. You can't just flat out lie about how much horsepower you have by that much and expect someone to pay up. That's just a full blown scam artist. You CAN however just refuse to say anything about your engine and ask for a race straight up, that's the rules of street racing. No wonder their faces are blurred.
People don't race and bet money against a car that they don't think they at least have a SHOT at beating. That car probably had closer to 800hp and a HUGE single turbo system based on that flutter sound.
I know the point of the video is to make fun of rich people with fancy cars they didn't build, but that bet was fixed/rigged.

7:49 Big power FWD cars are a handful in a straight line. They don't call it torque steer for nothing.

Made for sound, handling and joy of driving on track or twisty corners in the Alps or whatever. If you are into straight line speed, you have bought the wrong variant of 911. But don't worry: I'll take it off your hands. It's not for you anyways. So I'd be willing to trade in my station wagon for it ;-)
was not 1000hp 7:04 prob just over half that as it did not need to be it was about half weight of the ones it racing, lambo pro pushing 700hp that civic just 400-500hp would easy done it and it looked like prob mid engine rwd or 4 wheel drive on sticky tyres and good gearing supper cars easy lose. but no way 1000hp. good example metro 6r4 ive never seen something go 0-top speed so fast there helmet cam vid it goes like it 2000hp but its around 400hp maybe tuned more but 6 cylinder still weighed under a ton 4 wheel drive it win any super car off the line 0-100 mph.

I know how nice modern vehicles can be with luxurious creature comforts but if I were given the choice between a modern sports car and a classic American muscle car, I’m going American muscle car every time.

The Farm truck is like one of the top street racers in the US. Not surprised it beat the Lambo.
My neighbor builds snowmobiles for drag racing from the ground up. 800 and 1,000 cc modified classes. Love hearing him testing out back. Some people think it would be to much noise, but an engine for drag racing only runs for seconds unless you want a block of slag. Has a full machine shop including CNC equipment. Love living in the country.
