Usually there is the language barrier as most comedians perform in the German language, Volker Pispers had the honor to be subtitle in English and many English speaking watched his political satire, there is another German comedian "Vince Ebert" he did a gig in English he is a bit different because he has heavy scientific background
When Michael invated Poland I was in tears - such a great vid , thanks !
The problem with german humor is that its usually done in german. So most not- german people don't understand it.
Mittermeier is a good guy.
Not only on stage.
Your laugh is infectious bro! It was very good. I enjoyed how he said the thing about guilt in the schooling system and how he was almost made to feel like he had invaded Poland, himself. LOL
I as a German have to tell you, that in the 70ths and 80ths there was famous Comedian legends. Otto Waalkes, Dieter Hallervorden and dont forget Heinz Erhardt in the fifties;)
do Loriot and Diether Krebs also count? Volker Pispers is one of the great ones too
@@katrinsarascholz ja, sorry...hatte ich nicht auf dem schirm;) wollte keinen Roman schreiben ;)
It's a shame that nowadays you Germans have to deal with such masterpieces like Cindy aus Marzahn, Mario Barth, Tom Gerhard or the guy who pretends to be a military drill seargant...
Greetinx from Austria❤😂
Thank you so much for showing it. I didn't even know Michael did shows in English. I enjoyed seeing you laugh so much.
“By the time I was 14, I thought I invaded Poland.” 🤣🤣🤣
Henning Wen is another German comedian. There’s two of them!
Absolutely loved your video. Your reactions made this 2X more enjoyable.
Thanks for sharing our best comedian we have in Germany ! Michael "FRITZ" Mittermeier is my favorite since he began in German television - and I`m not from bavarian - I live in Hamburg north germany. I knew some of his performances but I laughed the most when I saw your (@Veli Xtreme) reactions to them - that was really funny. Thanks and best wishes @all from Hamburg, Germany
Really hilarious! Enjoyed your reaction so much. Thank you!❤❤❤❤
i love your laughin bro, i nearly peed my pants.
Mittermeyer became very famous in germany and austria over 20 years ago with a comedy show where he parodied the original Star Trek/Enterprise and other TV-series of his childhood.

While you German and you see this 😂😂😂🙏 awesome and he is so funny even in English 🤣🤣
He is a legend in Germany
So funny 😂 as this guy burst into laughing because of the joke with the Poland invasion, I was filling my water bottle and some drops landed on the phone display. And I thought they were from his screen! 😲🙈🤣🤣🤣
The Part about "Guild" and "Shame" is NO joke, its the sad Truth.
So funny your reaction🤣🤣🤣

I love the part when Tiffany asked "Why are you have so many languages in Europe?" - "Because we lost the war" 😁😆😅😂🤣
Thanks a lot for presenting this video. I saw it for the first time. Your reactions were so funny, your laughter was overwhelming. Big hug, bro.
And as a german I can say that we have many good comedians, all very different. Michael is one of the first and best.
As a German I love this guy. Always nails it. 😂
Laughing an music is best enjoyed together. Thank you!
The gag with the guilt is hilarious because it is extremely exaggerated, but, it is true! Funny and socially critical...
Guilt everyday and on fridays ‘shame’. 😅😅
Thanks man! I haven’t been laughing like this for ages 😂❤
This guy is funny! Brits know humour - especially self deprecating and piss taking humour - so we love this.
🇬🇧🇩🇪
German humour is similar to British humour imo
@@giftofthewild6665 Well exactly. We share Saxon ancestors after all
