- During the 2022 Goodwood Festival of Speed, I have filmed the all new Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 ePerformance. The maximum output of 735 kW (1,000 PS) and more. In simulated racing, a steady 450 kW (612 PS) is available for 30 minutes, i.e. the duration of a Carrera Cup race.

Just saw this car today over by the fan walk during the Sahlen six-hours of the Glen today and looked phenomenal in person.
Ill never get used to the sound of ev's, i just wish they had that same crispy pop as a flat 6 boxer engine, youll never replace what ic engines could sound like.

Before I thought that EV can never make sexy sounds but after seeing this I came to know that I was wrong. Although it can't make the heavenly sound of naturally aspirated engines but then also I think it can beat the super luxury cars such as Rolls Royce or mercedes Maybach..
The video itself is great just like your whole content but the car...idc it managed to lap Goodwood faster than the 911 GT3 Cup, it remains an e-car.

The superior product always wins. Gasoline cars were superior to horses. Electric cars are superior to gasoline cars. Pretty simple.
@@philosopherking7869 that superiority is relative. If we're talking about regular cars, the charging time is garbage and not superior,also remove areas or villages in extreme temperature. If we're talking about racing, the eV race cars are faster, but yet its not appealing to people who are passionate about cars, so there you go. It depends on circumstances and what people's priorities. So in the end it is superior for your needs, not mine
@@robb5828 No superior means superior. We not going to say this person’s superior is this superior and that person’s superior is this. Superior is superior. The gas car is superior to the horse and buggy as the electric car is superior to the gas car. A cell phone is superior to a landline phone. We going to live in reality. Not your needs or my needs. What does that have to do with superiority. The electric car is superior because it is more efficient, cleaner for the environment, faster, etc. if you love racing wouldn’t you want the faster car. Argument makes no sense. If you really want to talk about I would get rid of most cars and have great public transportation.

What do you mean? The whole point of this project is to make an insane electric race car, then make a road version for us mortals in the next couple years. It's actually R&D / marketing genius.
