    Just wanna say thank you, I followed all your steps and managed to get it done. I did run into an issue when bleeding where the slave wouldn't take the fluid from the lines. Just simply submerge it in the fluid and pump the end with the bleed nipple open and it will give you something to work with then bleeding the generic way👍🏼

      Most welcome my brother Appreciate you! With regards to the fluid not going thru the lines. I touched on that towards the end of the vid (gravity bleeding). Gravity bleed it the next time first, its a must for this set up, it takes a few moments but once you have the fluid running thru by itself you can start normal bleeding procedures🤘🏼

    I just spent lime 4½ hours replacing the master cylinder, clutch line, slave cylinder, and put in dot 4. The bleeding process was terrible. I didn't realize that a car could be such a pain. I gravity bled it, I pressure bled it, I made sure there was no leaks. It's pretty much good but I ran out of time today and there is still some air in the system..

      After doing my own and helping my boys I kinda became an expert on the Z 🤣💀... but i’ll make a future follow up vid... gravity bleed then manual bleed, i found this to be the best way to go about it for the Z specifically... pump 10 times, hold, then release/close the bleeder valve... do it for over half a large bottle (alittle over 16oz) and you should be good... if you have a power bleed like myself I run it thru first for a few rounds then leave it at around 5psi so I dnt have to constantly keep filling the reservoir while bleeding manually. Hope this helps bro 🙌🏼

    Love the video, super helpful, going to bleed my brakes and clutch soon. Buying this product, was wondering which adapter did you use ?

    • @SimplyEddieG
      @SimplyEddieG  2 роки тому

      Thanks bro! If it's the motive bleeder I just used the original adapter that came with it... with regards to using it on the clutch, dnt forget to gravity bleed first and following that get in a few manual pumps... but for the brakes, lol its str8 heaven🙌🏼

    Any tips for loosening the nut that connects the hardline and the softline? I have thread breaker and the flanged 10mm and mine isnt even rusted and I still cant break the nut.

    • @SimplyEddieG
      @SimplyEddieG  2 роки тому

      Hey brother just spray it with some penetrating oil let it sit and then throw that 10mm flange on... You can add another 10mm wrench on the end for more leverage and break it loose from there... Sounds like you should wear some gloves though just to be safe from some nicks... alot of force in a tight space 😬 lol be safe brother n lmk if anything!

    Hey what where all the sizes for the nuts and wrenches ect ect in this video . The dealer ship wants 540 just in labor for this . I'm deciding to do it my self this video is super helpful

    • @SimplyEddieG
      @SimplyEddieG  3 роки тому +2

      ahh you got this brother 🙌🏼 Save that money! With a jack and basic tool set you'll be good to go no doubt... Just remember if you don't have a power bleeder to make sure u have someone to help u bleed the system and also gravity bleed everything first for about 20 mins minimum (thats what i go by) but thanks and glad u found it helpful!🙏🏼

    I’m just watching to prepare myself cus I need new clutch lines or a slave cus my pedal sticks half way after it gets hot

    • @SimplyEddieG
      @SimplyEddieG  2 роки тому

      Hey my brother, I got you... Some things to consider is a fluid change as it only activates when it gets hot (maybe needs a flush or has air), if that doesn't work out just double check the adjustment on the pedal too low (if im not mistaken, did something for a friend with similar issue and i believe the adjustment was too low) but check pedal adjustment and bring it out to spec if anything... if you witness No leaks around the master or slave, based on the operating of it both should still be good... wrap some insulator (temporarily nothing fancy) around ur clutch line and see how that helps during a run... if that works ur oem insulation may be affecting the function... lol I'll leave it at that and hope it helps! Lmk if anything n GL if you decide to swap it out🤟🏼

      @@SimplyEddieG yeah Eddie I think it’s in dire need of a transmission & diff fluid change. In 5years of ownership haven’t changed those fluids! But I mean I barely started using the car since last year.. car was sitting for a good 2 years but now it’s back on the road I just know I gotta do the proper maintenance to have some price of mind.
      I checked the clutch line when I was changing my sensors and to my surprise it’s insulated so maybe the heat theory can go out the window and it might just really need a change which I’m definitely gonna do!

    I got a g37s do i need to remove my transmission i broke my bleeder nipple off and need to replace the slave cylinder

    • @SimplyEddieG
      @SimplyEddieG  2 роки тому

      Ahh my brother sorry to hear about your troubles... Well unfortunately they placed the csc inside the transmission for those hr+ models, however the bleeder valve sits on a tube thats in between the line and csc... and I personally never had to replace that specific part for any of my boys but I'm believe you may have to remove the transmission to access the connection to the cnc... But before removing transmission, its a bleeder valve, n thats not torqued down so much so you maybe in luck by attempting to extract it n then just replace the bleeder valve from there... I feel your pain as I've dealt with this rust bucket in the beginning as your prolly saw and during the restoration had alot of rusted/seized bolts that I had to deal with... But GL brother and let me know how it turns out!👍🏼

    Changed my master and slave.. now can’t get the car into 1st gear or r… I keep getting air in my system somehow… no leaks tho….

    • @SimplyEddieG
      @SimplyEddieG  2 роки тому

      Hey Steve, Sorry to hear about your troubles brother... Let's see, 1. Gravity bled first? 2. Clutch pedal adjustment is within specs? 3. What method you used to bleed?...
      From a distance, It sound like it maybe a bleeding issue as the hydraulic can't provide enough pressure for the pressure plate to disengage the clutch... The air you keep witnessing is possibly air still remaining in the system... Let me know if anything and hope something here was relevant & helpful🙌🏼🙏🏼

      Hey brother, I don't have an HR but with regard to the Z1 clutch line Specifically (the Blue one I have), lengths maybe slightly different... But with the insulated model, it has been made with the ability to be crossed from de to hr models.🤙🏼

    my clutch sinks to the ground, i’m having trouble bleeding it. You think replace the slave cylinder will fix it?

    • @SimplyEddieG
      @SimplyEddieG  3 роки тому

      It may just be the bleeding... Before you replaced your line, were you ok with the clutch (not sinking to the ground)?

    • @johnayy
      @johnayy 3 роки тому

      @@SimplyEddieG The clutch was fine before. I just replaced my upper oil pan and had to disconnect the clutch line. After replacing the upper oil pan, we added oil and tried to start the car and the clutch pedal sunk to the ground. The car won’t start either. I bought a new slave and I noticed that the clutch fork wasn’t moving at all when I was depressing the clutch pedal. Maybe that’s why we couldn’t get pressure on the clutch. What do you think it could be that causes the clutch fork to not move?

    • @SimplyEddieG
      @SimplyEddieG  3 роки тому

      Ok thanks for the follow up brother... So new Slave means we'll have to *gravity bleed* it first for about 20 mins... Have you done that?
