Look up the dirt dozen fruits and vegetables (might be 13 now) and at least try to get those organic. Don't drink distilled water. If you can afford it, drink spring water. It has lots of good minerals in it. 🌺

    • @susannechakan4939
      @susannechakan4939 11 днів тому

      you might want to do more research. Maybe you could find a qualified dietitian online with free info? Or a nutritionist. Read this on a Google search: "Thyroid hormone monitors growth, cell repair, and metabolism in our body. People with thyroid disorders should avoid goitrogens in their diet. Goitrogens are compounds that interfere with the normal functioning of the thyroid gland in our body. Diet plays a major role in the management of thyroid disorders.
      There are certain vegetables that contain goitrogens and should be avoided, For example
      Cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, and kale. They interfere with how the gland uses iodine for producing hormones.
      Sweet potatoes, cassava are some of the starch plants to be avoided
      Fruits such as peaches, pears, and strawberries should be avoided as well"
      This is from Zyla Health.

      I also make fruit smoothies....and eat while fruits and vegetables.
      My 1st and favorite juicer was, The Juiceman, and it arrived with casset tapes on nutrients. He advised not to mix fruits and vegetables. He said juiced cabbage must be consumed immediately or it loses its nutrients value....cant recall why.
      Exposure to oxygen, maybe?
      Cabbage really good for stomach ailments, like what used to be called ulcers. Long time ago though.

    Yah right. Don't forget to tell them about oxalates. Oxalate dumping is extremely painful due to Hyperoxaluria. Spinach, potatoes, and carrots have oxalates. I suffered from hyperoxaluria and kidney stones for years because I was married to a vegan who insisted we drink green smoothies for breakfast and have spinach salads for lunch and dinner. Worst years of my life.
