I am in Mississippi and we literally didn’t have a winter.. so we are either going to get really lucky and not have much of a summer OR… the more likely but terrifying scenario that no one wants.. Just wanted to leave a comment...TY Ryan for helping all the people you can after the storms ! I lived thru Katrina and for approx 2 weeks we had NO help from anywhere. We were in Bay St Louis MS. The hardest hit area. We had 28ft storm surge and nothing was left. No homes, no stores, no restaurants. So I know when you lose everything like that all the smiling faces you can get really helps, ty again.

I’m from the Caribbean and as soon as I saw that rotation pattern, I knew it was a hurricane. That’s a massive one. It covers a whole lot of land! Lord have mercy on everyone (specially those who doesn’t know how to deal with them).
I’m from Florida and I agree 100% with you. This season is going to suck.
It looks like a cold version of Typhoon Tip (from 1979), basically huge but not a lot of damage (well, there may be flash floods, but no insane wind damage unless there are supercells/tornadoes within it, which there probably will be somewhere). Typhoon Tip was also supposed to have been large enough to essentially cover the continental United States, but it was in the Pacific.
@@venus_envy Don’t expect a whole lot of damage, but nowadays (and this administration’s incompetence) just a power outage can become a major problem for the population.
Just remember folks that God is in control of the weather and he directs it. If this isn't a wake-up call for this nation, I don't know what is
As someone who has lived in the Chicago area his entire life I am not too confident in my ability to deal with one. We've got 3 days worth of survival food and some 15 gallons of immediate water storage, but beyond that....

I used to live in West Tennessee and I remember always watching you when I realized something with weather is wrong.
Now I've moved to Eastern Michigan and I'm not as worried but still prepared.

Pull up you pants tighten them belts, and you all best listen to this man... he knows what's happening and gives us fair warning to prepare, a day or two for supplies makes all the difference..
I remember being stationed at a Northern-tier USAF SAC bases back in the ‘70s - 80s. When snow lingered on into early spring it was referred to as “snert”; that brownish mess made up of snow and dirt; or “snert”.

It is amazing how the Great Lake Regions “Temper” the climate into predictable calmer patterns of weather!
The Great Lakes will breakup this hurricane or destabilize it with isolated issues but it could be interesting if there was historical comparisons to relate to possible outcomes ! 😎👍

Bro, I just want to say thank you for your weather reporting. You have been SPOT ON! I told my family that I have been watching a UA-cam channel, and he is predicting lots of moisture and cooler spring. They didn't believe me, but they are grateful that it did come true. We have been in drought for years, so this is a welcomed on all levels. More snow in the Rockies is definitely welcomed. Even if it stays cool a little longer. Our State is going to be absolutely beautiful this summer with all the moisture. Awesome job! Thank you sir!

Thanks Ryan for the update, it wasn't exactly what I was hoping for though. We bought a swimming pool last week, since then it has rained nearly every day, now it's just downright chilly. Gotta love the weather, you just would never know what is happening with out Ryan!

Here in northern Minnesota we do storm prep just in case the power is interrupted. It rarely happens and is quickly restored. I was going to empty my bucket of water that sits in my shower, thinking we weren't going to get any more snow. Guess I'll wait another week.😢 Really appreciate the warning.

Loving this cooler weather in Southwest Tennessee.
Here in Central Kansas it isn't odd to get 4 inches of wet fluffy snow in the middle of April...last of April...kinda odd. But moisture is moisture we will take it. But my arthritis and fibromyalgia really want...no need the fluctuations to stop. My allergies need the pollen to back off. This April has been about the worst in a decade for all 3 of these.

Thank you Ryan for the update. Frankly I am looking forward to a bit of cooler temperatures already and yes my family is already starting to get prepared for hurricane season once again in Florida. We have just purchased a very nice RV for the family and utilizing it to deliver supplies to hurricane aftermath locations that do not come towards us in the south and Easter shores in addition to tornado victims. Our RV should be fully stocked ready to go in a couple months for deployment thankfully.
