I saved my grandparents' lives when I was watching your stream. They lived in Whiteland, IN, and I called them as soon as I could when I saw your radar. The tornado struck their house, and their bathroom was the last thing standing. They both survived
Proof..they save lives.
Thank you!
GOD bless you and all you do.
My thoughts go out to you and your family. My sister lives in Franklin and said she thought it was coming her way because it was so loud. And when it came my way, my doors and windows shook. The air pressure changed, even inside I could feel it.
I can't imagine how your family felt going through it.
My heart goes out to you and your family. I was also in Whiteland IN when the tornado struck, we were fortunate to not have had much serious damage but others around us weren't so lucky. This weather has been awful so far and so many people have lost their homes, it's genuinely terrifying. I wish you and your family well, and I hope y'all recover quickly
Hey Ryan, I want you to know during Friday's storm I went to a restaurant to seek shelter and while I was there an elderly gentleman was also taking shelter in the restaurant, and he was watching you! You're seriously making an impact even on older folks who especially may need it.
Yes! Even people in other countries watch the Y'All squad.
@@dianemiller6580 they watch it without understanding the struggles of it though
@@oxicon I'm sure that's true. Also they have natural disasters that we don't, or rarely have. Unfortunately, the end result for all is often loss of home, community, our livelihood, injury &/or life.
We all struggle with various degrees of Mother Nature. Living in the Coastal South we have hurricanes do most understand the personal devastation not really but they do empathize, volunteer help, send prayers & donations. Others may deal more with tornadoes, floods, blizzards, mud slides, volcanos, forest fires, tsunami’s which is equally destructive and heat breaking!
As a resident of Pittsburgh PA, it always seems unlikely that a tornado will touch down within Allegheny County during severe weather, such as tornadoes.
I've always thought it's because tornadoes have a hard time developing in a river valley.
Is there a reason why tornadoes tend to develop in flat open terrain and why it's harder near rivers in valleys?
As a trucker who travels the country, you dont know how much I appreciate your channel. Thank you for keeping me safe.🙏🏽
Don't buy into the hype. This guy is doing this for his own benefit. He's making bank on these videos.
Thanks for what you do. My husband is a trucker but he hauls from local coal breakers. You all work hard for all of us
@@danieldavis3035 he also donates back into the affected communities. His team gets paid. No one works for free.
@@danieldavis3035 obviously genius,if yr good at sumthin why do it for free?
@@danieldavis3035 Nothing happened🤣 I live in IL… meteorologists always overhype
Thanks for all that you guys do! Many helped us after hurricane María hit PR and I believe in paying it forward.
heya! thank you friend :) - andy
this made my day
@@codytaylor5335 thank you so much for leaving your family and friends to lend a helping hand. Hurricane María destroyed the windfarm I was working at. A few months later got a gig as subcontractor with the USACE doing QE for the massive effort of bringing back power. After a couple months, I got a longer term gig with Google's Project Loon as a subcontractor and stayed for about two years. Finally moved on to the FAA and it's been three years now. I'm doing radar/automation and once I complete all my certs I plan on joining the Field Incident Response volunteers. It's a group within the FAA that helps rebuild the FAA infrastructure after natural disasters in order to maintain safety of aviation.
what a grat person we need more of these! :)
Wow
The April 19-20, 1921 analog resulted in at least 17 tornadoes with at least 243 fatalities. The difference: no internet, no tv, heck, not even widespread broadcast radio was available. You guys do a stellar job of saving lives by your passionate efforts to inform us. Thank you!
also interesting is how the word “tornado” was banned for use in the media back then. it’s insane to think about today
880 KRVN was built in Lexington to cover western Nebraska after the 49 blizzard.
Different building materials as well.
Back in the early 60s that radio was a life saver.
He Is A Blessing! 💛💛💛
I was watching your livestream and my wife walked in and asked who you were because “he’s next level good.” She said “ he’s tuning into storm chasers while explaining the storms, and he’s tracking every alert?” She then added that our local weathermen could take some notes from you 😂. It’s unreal how much you provide as a channel, keep it up man you’re doing great work!
😅😅
I totally agree!!!
Hi rayn, my family and I live in Wynne, Arkansas which was just destroyed by the fri, march 31 tornado. I was shown your channel an hour or so before touching down. Which I believe help me get my children inside and protected well before disaster struck. My neighborhood was blessed to not be damaged but, so many families and people have lost everything less then a 100 yards or so away from my neighborhood, in less the 60 sec everything was gone. After watching this video, I will not have my family stay in this town on Tuesday or state. I will not risk it, my house is not safe. I'm packing the car up tomorrow and heading east out of state as far as I can till I feel it's safe enough for my children to lay their heads down for the night
We live in Benton and I’m seriously scared for tomorrow
@@Timbertrussminifarm Stay safe and prepared. Best of luck!
We have a 10% chance for rain down here in Biloxi. Come visit the coast.
Fellow Wynne citizen here, I'm devastated. I want to trust that it'll all be okay today but I also want to get everything and leave for good. It's terrifying.
Good choice my family's yard was impacted out in Cabot toward Lonoke. Nothing like Wynne though. Just devastating. Keep your family safe, best of luck!
Thanks for covering. My home in Adamsville, TN was hit hard, lost 2 sheds and more damage. Roof damage. So far 9 dead in Adamsville from last Friday's storms. People was watching you and taking cover.
I really love all of the partners you have working with you. I swear, between you Andy, the storm chasers, and all of the other folks that help you, y'all are becoming a Nationwide weather dream team!!
I agree !
Well said! 👍
Yes I'm from Australia and I watch him he's incredible in his knowledge he's certainly becoming known
I'm in South Africa and watch him! The networks must be quaking in their boots
@@skyewoods4592 I'm curious, why do you watch a weather person in the US when you live elsewhere?
You guys did an amazing job covering everything in an overwhelming situation the other night. Can't give enough thanks!
Yeah I was extremely impressed with the 9 hour stretch of coverage. It's pretty safe to say you got a great seat in heaven waiting for you for the amount of lives you've saved
Ryan and his crew really do a service to mankind. These guys are lifesavers!!

Ryan, you, your gang out on the roads and all those who donated Friday are true heroes to everyone impacted. I couldn’t believe how your voice held up. What a hero👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
His team gave me an extra 10-15 minute warning about the Nader headed my way. It was a weak one. 0 at best. But I was able to get inside the truck stop and be in at least a structure instead of a truck. Unfortunately, I won't be out of the way of this next round either. So, here we go again I guess.
I’m in Manhattan, Kansas, just west of Topeka, and it’s in the 80s today. Seeing how wild the weather is right around me is nerve wracking.
Thank you for all you do, you stayed on for us here in tennessee and I know it was hard for you. You did and doing so saved so many lives here in mcnairy county because of that. Your alerts were more accurate for me and I knew when to get my kids to safety and knew to seek shelter and go underground before things got bad here. Lots if people here do not have cable/news and rely on you. We are a small rural area and the damage is terrible, buildings now slabs. 9 confirmed dead right now and more missing, I can't imagine how much more that would have been if you didn't do things the way you do. It was efficient and accurate and even showed footage of the f3 that tore thru our counties 🖤 thank you from the bottom of my heart. If I didn't hear your warnings me, my husband and my kids might not be here now, it hit about a half a mile above my house. 🖤 thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I was right here watching from Ohio through the almost constant barrage of tornado warnings and alerts over multiple areas. Very impressive how you kept your cool trying to focus on the most dangerous areas while watching for new dangers. I appreciated the continued reminders to take cover and especially mentioning specific roads and landmarks for people to relate to. You were very prepared and are very hard working. This will be my go to channel for all things weather related from now on. Thank you so very much Ryan!
I totally agree.
im glad we here in ohio have been spared most of the worst so far this year. lets hope it keeps up
TDG #1 FULLSUPPORT EVERYTHING OHIO USA 🇺🇸 🦅 EARTH FROM VINTON COUNTY ALWAYS BIG FAX
Hey fellow Ohioan! Hopefully we won’t get too bad weather!
Same here in the dayton area I was working in the meijer building that was hit last year cost me my job at the time I was a contractor for them when the building got hit we all lost our jobs the union workers got moved to another building it was a good thing however I got a much better paying job after God always sends blessings in disguise
I have storm anxiety. Severe weather just isn’t the same without your live streams. Thanks for all y’all do.
Same!
I'm in a similar boat. I adore thunderstorms, but the second there's a chance of tornadoes, I start getting really anxious.
Really helps to soothe that anxiety to have a livestream that's not constantly interrupted with 5-10 minutes of commercials like cable tv.
If you have storm anxiety, try and educate yourself on each type of EF level.
What helps me is educating others on the topic. For example, on Friday I was at a friends house. Her little brother was horrified of the *chance* of a tornado. I sat him down and talked about the small probability of it actually happening, and then told him the effects of EF 1 and 2 tornadoes, and assured him that nobody in the house was going to get hurt (I knew for a fact this statement was true because we had the proper safety and equipment for this. If you can't promise people not dying with a 100 percent, don't lie. )
Ryan is my anti anxiety for naders! JK
Same, Ryan helps me manage my anxiety attacks
my hometown Sullivan, IN got hit Friday night. over 200 homes gone and half of our town destroyed. please send love and prayers that this storm cell doesn’t hit us. not sure if my town can take another hit ❤️
Where do you recommend donating? I prefer local org
Thank you for everything you ALL do!! Stay warm stay safe!!❤
Thankfully Nashville will luck out again. Prayers for everyone in the bad areas. AND GOD BLESS ANDY HILL. He restarted his stream for those of us in TN and other places that were hit by tornados throughout Friday night into Saturday morning. he saved many lives that night. And thank you Ryan for your marathon coverage as well
Yes! Andy’s the real deal! He knows his radar!
Maybe should call him Radar O’Andy !!!!!
All respect to Andy ❤
Yes I 100%. I watch a couple other weather people and they were so wiped after marathon steaming as well and right as things got calm and they headed out the storms kicked up again. He restarted his streams for us as it hit around Nashville. Even out local news channels signed off as the tornadoes started dropping around the counties surrounding Nashville. But thanks to him I was able to tell my husband and son who works in Murfreesboro TN to take cover FOUR MINUTES before the weather service even said a tornado was on the ground . I just couldn't be more thankful
@@froggynzack - lots of people were killed here on the eastern Highland Rim back in 1974 when Nashville TV said it was over - go to bed, Never let your guard down, ever. Many who lived remained paralyzed or in wheelchairs for the rest of their lives. Tragic.
U must be from Nashville? And u got the same last name as my wife lol
My love goes out to everyone who has suffered through these storms ❤❤❤❤
I'm from Sullivan IN and moved to Evansville in the past few years, and although I was lucky to have my son here with me his mother's house was one of the only houses still standing on her street. Somehow only 3 casualties were reported but the loss of homes in such a small town is devastating.
I live in Sullivan Indiana the wreckage is unlike anything we have ever seen I was lucky and it stopped a couple of blocks from my house I work at the Humane society of Sullivan County and we've been trying our best to help people find their pets in this mess thank you Ryan for doing this I was watching the whole night and my family had advanced warnings to stay home and prepare our safe place and we watched you until our power went out and our signal was cut off
The night Amory got hit it took out their shelter. They were told today it would be months if not years before the supplies and workers would be available to rebuild the shelter. They don't know what they're going to do.
While I hope you qnd else where injured or killed. I still think Sullivan is so lucky I live in Brownsburg, IN (Hendrick) and we didn't get anything😠 No thunder, no lighting, no high winds just rain😠 which suck I've always been into tornados.
We have some family friends in Whiteland who had significant damage to their homes. I’m really glad that people are paying lots of attention to this next system we’re going to get so we know to prepare.
Thanks Ryan! I am a survivor of the May 3 1999 Tornado. These tornadoes are really playing with my mental health right now but the key is to always be prepared!
I remember that one. I was listening to KVOO out of Tulsa online that night here in Missouri. Boy was that one a doozy! Praise God you're still here!
It was on my Dad's birthday. His last birthday. He felt so bad for Oklahoma. Wasn't that an EF5?? Stay strong 🙏
@@inthekitchen8842 Actually, that was the last F-5 before the Enhanced Fujita scale was introduced.
We good in oklahoma so far... did you move? But i was on 89th m western when that hit. I wasnt even 1 yet. My grandpa watched it take westmoore out
I feel the same. Survived one in 01, went over the house and took it. I was in the basement watching it through a window. High winds and storms get me paranoid.
Thank you for posting this! My dad is a trucker that drives through these states😭 I send this ti him to make sure he stays safe thanks to you! Thank you!💙
Same here, but for my husband. Thank you, Team Ryan! 🙏✝️☝
Stay safe!
Thank you for what you do. I was watching all day the last time and was able to warn 2 different family members in storm paths who got to shelter in Arkansas and Iowa. They had not heard of you but now follow. Appreciate your team and efforts.
i live in indiana and don’t have a basement. whenever these storms happen i have panic attacks :( in 2012, a town in indiana called henryville was hit really hard by a tornado. i was just a kid, and i remember going through the town with my parents seeing the damage. truly terrifying. whenever i get upset with storms like these, i’m told i’m overreacting, but the image of the destruction has never left my mind. indiana is still picking up the pieces from the last storm. i really hope those towns aren’t hit hard again.
Praying for all that was affected from Friday. Just heartbreaking!!! And us farmers need a break from the rain and storms ASAP. 🙏🏼🙏🏼
I'm grateful my area just got a bit of rain, lighting and wind.
Hope your fames okay!
Thanks for doing your part Kelly
Yes it is horrible!!! 🤯😭💓
Nice job covering these last tornado outbreaks! I hope everyone is weather aware. You are VERY appreciated! Thanks❤
April 1st, southeast PA had a VIOLENT STORM come in. Baseball sized hail, wind gusts, and crazy sideways rain. Our siding on the front of our house broke off and wood and insulation flew everywhere. It wasn't a tornado, but it sounded like a freight train and it caused major damage in our neighborhood. NJ and Delaware actually had tornadoes that touched down for 20 minutes. It was so scary, but because of Ryan, I knew what to do, we hid in our basement and rode it out. Thx Ryan for what you do, I appreciate ALL that I've learned from you and your channel.
According to our local news station we had 19 confirmed tornados here in Indiana. The worst hit locations are north and south of my location. It was pretty bad!! Thanks for doing what you do, keeping us up to date. Subscribed!
The disaster assistance the Y’all Squad gives is the reason I bought that great Midlands weather radio with warning lights for hearing impaired folk like me from YOU - you gave back to the Louisiana folk in Jefferson Parish after the New Orleans area tornado! That’s my old stomping grounds, and y’all’s prompt assistance meant a lot! Stay safe, y’all! ❤
I love our Midlands NOAA weather radio too! I have severe storm anxiety and it really helps.
Hi Ryan, my sis survived the April 3, 1974, Tornado Super Outbreak. She lost part of her foot and has scars all over her body where the trees splintered off and went into her skin. She's a different person now. She was in the hospital for almost 2 months in recovery and they saved her leg, but removed part of her foot. Thank you, Ryan, for all you do for us all!
What location during the super outbreak?
April 3 is my b day 1999
she is a different person, she doesnt has a foot
God Bless your sister and family!!
I did my last college project at Colorado State University (which he referenced our model in the video) on the 1974 outbreak! Your sister is stronger than I can fathom.
I’m in Kansas and our tornado season just started. Usually it doesn’t get real busy for us until end of April and May is the busiest of all the months. After the way things have been going, I feel we are going to get nailed this year. So far we’ve been lucky and just barely missing the outbreaks. Hopefully things slow down but as we see, this is just the beginning. Prayers to everyone effected and I can’t say this enough, INVEST in a storm shelter. It could mean the difference between life & death for yourself, your family, & your pets (please people STOP leaving your pets to fight a tornado by themselves, scared & alone. TAKE THEM WITH YOU, it’s YOUR job too!) I finally broke down and had one put in because I’ve had too many close calls and been in way too many tornados that I’m lucky to be here & so is my daughter. That’s also what saved my family in the Joplin Tornado. Prayers to everyone that’s been effected and/or will be effected. Like Ryan says, “Don’t be scared, be prepared”.
y'all be safe that's in the path of all this~all y'all are in my thoughts and prayers 💕
Ryan, I deeply appreciate the hard work you and your team do. Last Friday's tornado here in central Arkansas struck my hometown of Jacksonville. Between watching you and the local news, there wasn't a better way to get the best up to date information.
Totally agreed. Network weather reports do not compare.
I’m so sorry. I’m out of state working but it hit about 1/4 of a mile from my house, there. Just know, if you don’t have insurance or you’re under insured, go watch KATV’s FEMA video from this morning. FEMA is giving out money for people in those situations
Honestly Ryan, I don't even bother with the local weather here in Indianapolis anymore, I strictly watch every video you post and share with everyone! Thank you for not only doing an amazing job keeping us informed, but the way you step up and help the people out in the aftermath shows a level of character that I wish more people had!
You and your team are amazing and please keep up the great work!
Thank you Ryan and to your Team for all that you guys do!! We see and hear you and it means a lot to us!! Stay safe out there this season you guys💞!!
I love what you do! Keeping people in the loop, and making sure we get a heads up for our safety. One thing is, I've lived in South Eastern Wisconsin for all my life and the only one I was totally worried about was the Stoughton tornado. We usually get missed
Thank you so much for your coverage of my home state of Iowa, especially East Central Iowa. Meanwhile, here in South Dakota, Ranger the Weather Collie and I have our Y'all-O-Meter ready for Tuesday. And for Pete's sake, stay safe out there!
You are the best Ryan! We are in Flora, Illinois and we were hunkered down in our shelter all night Friday. You kept us informed when the tornado was coming right at us. It missed us but just barely and went northeast to destroy other small towns down the road. Two people were killed in Crawford County. Very sad, but good job on your efforts!
I'm down here in Collinsville. Tornadoes all around. My son lost his best friend 2 yrs ago in the Amazon disaster
I recently found your site and absolutely love it! Thank you for sharing this info with us!
Hello. I live in the PNW where the big blob just hit. It rained hail for 30 minutes and super cold. I can also tell you, I am one of those people who gets migraines from the pressure of storms. This storm affected me for two days. No matter what I did or take, the migraine wasn’t going to go away and vertigo was bad. Please be safe out there.
Your allergies cleared up. , I could not believe how bad you were suffering the other day, but you kept going on like the Energy Bunny. Your amazing and appreciated.
No one does it better! Network weather? Hell no! Ryan Hall is the only source for us. We were glued to your channel during the storms Friday, getting as much info as we could, since my son was driving from Ohio to Az. Your all day coverage was amazing! Team Ryan Hall, all of you ……..Homerun! Thanks so much. Wishing everyone impacted by these storms, speedy recovery, and hope you all are unharmed.
Exactly. While I appreciate what The Weather Channel does and all the explanations they have for everything to teach the audience, they've just been far too money grubbing over the past 15 years with all the extra shows and lessening of the local forecasts. There's been times where I went to TWC to watch some storm coverage only to have a story show about past storms come up with full Lot8's every 30 minutes instead of 10. It's very lame and it's really nice to see this kind of coverage again.
100% agree!
I was glued to this channel too. My daughter and granddaughter were in little Rock, Arkansas. I'm in Fayetteville, Arkansas and we got the 60pmh straight-line winds. Lost my patio umbrella to the trees.
Exactly! I can not stand TV weather channels anymore. Once I switched to Ryan, TV is out the window. Canceled my dish, do not need it for anything now. No corporate BS, just weather and knowledge AAAAAND real life streaming that saves lives. These guys are the top :-)
Proper on it! ❤
Thank You Ryan Hall. Stay safe yall! Blessed Be!
Thank you for your time and professionalism! Your weather stream is sensitive, humorous and most importantly helpful.
Hey everybody. Be careful and stay safe! A tornado watch was just issued for the DFW area here in Texas. At first it was sunny and bright, now it’s cloudy and gloomy looking. Strange weather going on that’s for sure.
Wow! Unexpected. But it’s that kind of a year…. 🤞🏻

Absolutely sick and tired of seeing 60 to 80% chance of rain, looking at rain clouds overhead, and seeing the rain on the radar even!! but NOTHING transpiring not a drop of rain!!! perplexing/ frustrating!

It's amazing everything you are doing for the people who are affected by all these storms! Thank you Ryan and the whole team for watching out for us and keeping us informed! Ryan Hall, Y'all is "The People's #1 weather station" keep up the great work and we are behind y'all 100 percent ❤
Thank you for all you do. God bless you 🙏
I’m currently living in a camper in middle Tennessee, a tornado went by literally less than 10 miles and I could hear the whistling thru the trees. Damn was that terrifying
Hall you helped me convince my brother living in Fort Wayne IN to stay inside instead of going out, I played your steam over the phone, talking about Iowa (at the time) and I’m glad I did because he would have been much closer to the one that touched down!
Sending prayers to everyone who went thru that 🙏
Thank you so, very much Ryan. Your channel was what kept me informed while I road out that last storm a few days goes. The one that flattened the town of Sullivan, Indiana.
I was hunkered down at a truck stop (I travel full-time) just north of Sullivan and with all those tornadoes popping off around us, I was truly scared.
Again, thank you for being here when people need you the most.
Count me in as a new subscriber.
Thank you all so much for all of your help. I was able to warn my son in Arkansas. He and his finance took shelter and they are doing fine. Keep up the excellent work, and we all really appreciate the hard work you do, and the extensive amount time that you have invested to make this an outstanding weather channel. God Bless!
Thank you y’all squad!! You all are doing wonderful things! I appreciate everything you all do.
Bless you Ryan. Thank you for what you do
Your commitment and passion is admirable. Thank you for all you do.
Thank you for your live stream you saved a lot of lot of lives here in Arkansas.
Absolutely did save a lot of lives in Arkansas. Awesome meteorological work and I’m now subbed!
Prayers for everyone!! Stay safe ❤
Thank you Ryan..keep saving lives!!
TY for sharing this great info. I greatly appreciate it!
I do want to say thank you to you and the entire Y'all team for the massive amount of love and support you show to everyone. It's amazing. I've been telling everyone I know in the way of the storms to tune into your feeds. The "if you're down by the Walmart on 26th and Street, it's coming your way, take shelter NOW" thing has been so great. I didn't panic when you were watching the tornado that hit Pasadena (Houston) Texas, I'm near there and could relax because I knew it would past us.
I've had horrible anxiety related to severe weather since I was a kid. Watching your live streams has helped me stay calm, and learn a little more about storms. Not looking forward to Storm Season here in MN, but I am already reworking my storm preparedness plan.
Thank you so much for your updates.
Thank you Ryan ❤God bless everyone 😊
I’m so happy I found y’all. Tornadoes stress me out (I grew up in the Bay Area) y’all give me way more info faster than any news. Thank y’all.
Thank you, Ryan, for all of your coverage with the additional reports from Andy and the storm chasers. We were with you until 10:40 pm when the storm hit us and knocked out our power in Hopkinsville KY. Thank you for never giving up on anyone! We were able to alert family in states north of us to the late night tornado activity thanks to your team!!!
Thank you for the link to Andy and the opportunity to stay informed. My family is going to be under the gun, here in Missouri, Tuesday evening. So grateful for any fair warning from y'all. The failure of the sirens, in Andover, years ago, has me not counting on our warning system. ❤️🙏
@RyanHallYall ...I love your show and THANK YOU for all you do to keep us safe. I live in NW Arkansas so we missed the worst of it that hit Little Rock where I used to live in the same area that was hit so hard. I would like to suggest taking loads of gallon ziplock or any closing bags of that kind. I used to do work for FEMA and I would watch people with small things they could find especially pieces of paper..No one ever thinks to take this as essentials.. I would say it is the most important because it gives the victims a little bit of their power back when it was taken away and they can save important papers they find and small things. Also, I would take ALL of the Easter Baskets you can find for those poor children who were planning for Easter Baskets and Egg hunting.. You are THE BEST! Again THANK YOU for all you do on and off UA-cam
Thanks for being there on Tuesday Ryan!! We are in Springfield MO and are a little nervous,
Ryan my family and I cannot thank you enough for the great coverage you provide during these awful storms!
During last week's weather a FB person mentioned you and I looked you up. Wow! You and your team are the weather guys on target. I followed you through Little Rock and Covington, TN. I was so stressed about the impact on Jackson, TN and watching on your channel was so helpful and accurate! Thank you so much for the work you do. It's impressive how long you keep going with such high energy!
I love your channel! Excellent information & your generosity is awesome inspiring.
It's what we do in the midwest. No one's coming to save us, so we turn around and pick each other up and keep on keeping on. Thanks for what you do. I'll have my eyes on the sky here on Tuesday. It appears we're right on the edges of that mess.
Kudos and thanks to Ryan and his team for their coverage of Fridays storms. I live in one of the high risk areas in Iowa, and I watched your stream up to when I switched to my local news station for continuous coverage of my area as the storms reached us. Thankfully, the tornado veered away from us. You all deserve an award.
Thanks to you Ryan and the team for being the go to source of severe weather outbreak information !
7:15am in Utah, Monday morning. Snowing like crazy, have probably 2 inches with no break till Wednesday. Prayers for everyone affected by these tornadoes
Watched you the entire day.. thank you for keeping us updated through this. My whole family watches you.
I relay his info to my family by messaging. They call me weather grandma.
Thank you for doing what you do! You surpass any of my local news stations when it comes to storm coverage. Thanks to you, we were prepared for the tornados that hit our area early Saturday morning!
Thank you for speaking so clearly and sensibly, I got it.
I’m from west TN taking shelter in a public shelter provided by the state you had at least 20 people watching you during the outbreak thanks for what you do.
You and Andy Hill are the best in the business. You make it easy to understand, educate in a more broad sense than typical forecaster, and are simply wonderful with all you do with recovery efforts. Thank you to both of you
As a first responder and a subscriber to your channel, thank you for your heads up and coverage of the tornado that came through Sullivan County Indiana ! Your channel is the best , again thank you , keep up the good work !
Thanks.
Good weather forecasting with a heart and good graphics.
Wow. It is so cool to read all of these testimonies.
I'm still pretty new to your channel, and only because of a friend who moved to TN. Well, now I've moved to Georgia and can say, wow, the storms look, sound, and feel different here in the south. I watched for at least half the stream the other night, surprised even me.
I am impressed by both your compassion, dedication, the Squad and your level head, even hours and hours into the storms.
The main reason I stayed on so late the other night (till I was falling asleep) was because of that friend in TN. But by the grace of God, the huge tornado that aimed straight for her town lifted up over and set down beyond them, so they were not harmed.
I will definitely be turning on the notification alerts cause honestly, there's no good place here even to hide. In Pa, almost everyone has a basement. Here, so many homes are built on concrete slabs.
Anywho, thanks!! Well done Ryan and team!!
Thanks so much for keeping us informed and safe!
Local weather never goes into this detail. You guys are keeping travelers safe too! Thank you!!!!
I'm in Little Rock, your coverage for the 3/31 tornados was super helpful and kept me safe. Thank you for the info re. next week's weather.
Huge thank you for your coverage Friday. I watched all evening until a massive tornado hit just a few miles north of us in Palestine, illinois. You were spot on with its exact location the entire time it moved through the county.
Thank you for what you do! And let’s all thank the moderators that do an amazing job with so many ppl at once! The chasers who will stop the chase to help those in need. We are all safer with The Y’all Squad❤
Thank you! We couldn't do it without y'all's support! Hope you stay safe!
@@amydavis4945 I’m an Amy too and I admire your ability to keep your cool. I know I wouldn’t make a good mod bc some ppl would just get on my last nerve. My screen name, well, it’s bc I also am from KY and ppl make fun of my accent. Stay safe as well! Thank you!
I’m in Mayfield, KY and you definitely keep us updated! While I know the families will be super thankful for you, I’m hoping you go after this storm 😓 We still don’t have our house fixed from December 10th, 2021 so my nerves are shot already with these storms 😢
This helps a lot man, thanks for helping me get prepared 👍
Thank you for sharing this channel is the greatest. From outside Cincinnati .
The best weather channel. Thanks for all you do. 😎
This is just the beginning. Saying prayers for those affected.
Thx so much. You are a blessing.
Bless you and the team!
Ryan, I watched your live stream for the first time during the tornado outbreak the other day and had to add my comments in support of all the other people who have thanked you for your efforts to save lives.
I worked in the Irish Weather Service for 2 years in the early 1980s, not as a forecaster but as an observer. Weather satellites were in their early days and there were no personal computers, mobile communications or internet, so forecasting was a very imprecise science. I could never have imagined how sophisticated the technology would become in my lifetime and the way you handled that live stream was the best practical example I've ever seen.
I often bemoan technology when it's used inappropriately but to see you identifying tornadoes from the radar fingerprint 10 minutes or more before anyone could see them in the field, and for you to be able to narrow down their tracks to a particular Walmart or fast food joint on a certain street corner shows how well technology can be used by someone with passion and a desire to do good. There's no doubt in my mind that you saved hundreds of lives and reassured thousands of others that day. Storm chasers sometimes get a bad name but you've chosen a different path that's much more effective, it seems to me, by using technology to get in front of the tornadoes before they ever appear. Very well done.
THIS!!!^^^^^^^
I'm in St. Louis. Now I'm really scared. 😮😦
I was less than a mile from the coralville tornado and I’ve never been closer to a tornado. I hope it’s not so bad for the Iowa city area this time ://
Greatful you were on! When our little town was mentioned by name on the Weather Channel, we were stunned. We kept cool, but when our power flickered ahead of the storm, it set nerves on edge. We have a generator, so we never lost power. Having you live while we all gathered in our shelter area was a blessing. The tornado dodged north of us last minute. That bad boy bounced and became the sneaky extra hook echo you and Andy called out before the networks did! We appreciate your hard work and spot on reports! Thank you for helping us stay calm and prepared.
Thanks for all the 'heads up' coverage you do! Be safe out there - sending my love, too!! NEW SUB!!
