As a logistics coordinator. I appreciate your updates helps me prevent my guys from danger.
Respect.
So cool to see professionals utilizing every tool available! I'm just a housewife who's replaced my lack of a weather reporting with these updates. I'm actually able to keep up with my mom's cable reporting updates now, starting a weather conversation... says a lot to me about Ryan's reporting for my area.
Glad to see it's useful for professionals. Tells me it's a pretty solid source.

I was a volunteer emt. and a member of Erie County when the tornadoes that hit Pennsylvania in 1985. We had no warning and 67 lives were lost. This is why I appreciate and trust you and your channel. Thank you for all you do to keep everyone safe.
Didn't have all the tech back then, either.

We did back in 2007 when over a dozen tornadoes hit the Midwest (ie STL MO) without any warning at all.
*Edit* and that was in *ONE DAY!*
a day i'll never forget. you hear the train and hope you're not on the tracks
I was 3 yrs old when the outbreak hit, closet tornado was the Cherrytree tornado
May 31, 1985 in Albion, Pa sometime after 5pm. Its about 15 or so miles SW of the city of Erie.
The tornado that popped my cherry was way back in 1990. I was 9, and remember it well. I grew up near the Southside of Chicago but was visiting my sister in a town called Plainfield, IL. From my memory; I believe it was sunny and perfect outside. Looking to the Northwest in the afternoon, the sky was (no joke or exaggeration) black. Like a giant wall painted black, moving closer. I learned later that almost nobody seen it since it was rain wrapped. It was devastating as I can still hear that sound. People say a freight train. No, more like 25 freight trains going in all directions hitting other freight trains. It shook the ground and the trees. It was an F5.
I keep telling people it’s been La Niña for a bit. Is like people forget these different cycles that affect our weather. I’m glad you are talking about it. We need that safe room to be built already.
La Nina, El Nino....BS! Everybody KNOWS it's ALL about GLOBAL WARMING toasting us ALL ALIVE. Right?
The ONLY safe room in existence is below ground. The rest are crash rooms. ....
@@josephvanwie6706 we are aware of that but thanks for the tip.
@@waynesanchez6504 forgive me if I misspoke… how DARE I?
Can’t go in the safe room if the tornado is at your work or on the road. What then ? Money won’t help you when you’re at work or on the road

@@thetonyhope Very unlikely. But all it takes is some strong winds and insane weather. So let’s hope not 🤞
@@thetonyhope ooh remember that one tornado in 2008? That was crazy.
As someone with extremely bad storm anxiety, these videos always worry me. However, i must say that ryan is a super great weatherman and helps everyone be informed.

Same here! I didn’t use to be terrified, but the April 2011 tornado outbreak TRAUMATIZED me. I live in north AL, and it was tragic.
That where faith comes in. I swear if I didn't have God, (or whatever higher power) the powerlessness would eat me alive.
Don’t be afraid man you will be okay in Jesus name
I’ve been having the same gut check feelings this year that I did in the beginning of 2012. March 2nd 2012 the Ohio river valley had a pretty bad tornado outbreak and I’ve been getting those vibes all winter. It’s felt the same way. One big freeze with snow on the ground for Christmas. then warm for the most part afterwards. The mere mention of it being a 2012 pattern confirmed why my gut has been in knots lately. Getting ready for another big outbreak.
We had family in small town of ky their little town got demolished in 2012 by a major tornado
I live in Oklahoma. Also have a childcare. In the ground shelter !!! Learning/ following you is a necessary part of my life.

I’ve been feeling weird about this coming spring since winter too and I don’t know why.
I remember that. I was in Athens Ohio and the rain was sideways and the tornado tore up (now joe burrow stadium) it followed the river but was cool to see in person
Ryan, as a tornado junkie, this is probably one of the best, probably THE best, tornado prediction video I have every seen. Your breakdown of past season comparisons, la Nina vs el Nino, etc. is all fantastically put-together. These prediction videos, for whatever reason, don't seem to get the view count as most of your other vids unfortunately. But it's productions like this that set you far above the rest. Thank you for the time, effort, passion, and funds that your poured into this one. I thoroughly enjoyed the breakdown and thought is was superbly done.
Dude! Here in Austin TX. and let me tell you. You NAILED the weather right on the head! You are the GOAT! We were ready!

Thank you for everything that you do. I’m the office manager for a landscape company and you help me keep my co workers safe, help me dispatch and standby our plow crews, and help me advise on bad weather coming to recommend changes to scheduled jobs. You are my favorite work tool and I could not do my job and protect my coworkers with u ❤. I sure your name all the time at work. You also help keep my family safe!
The Super Outbreak of 2011 was incredible and some of the most detailed & amazing chasing videos of the Alabama tornadoes, especially Tuscaloosa. I remember watching Dr. Greg Forbes on The Weather Channel during it. He was having hard time keeping up with all the tornadoes on the ground at the same time.
Hi y'all! Andy here-I'm particularly happy and a twinge proud to have worked on this video with the crew.
The most important takeaway I want to reiterate is that regarding weather/storm anxiety: this video is intended to motivate first and foremost. Being educated on a topic and expecting a result means that you have all possible outcomes on your mind, and you'll already know how to respond-whether it's for yourself or someone you care about. It's like driving in that you're prepping for someone's merge to go wrong, or someone to be in your blind spot.
With weather, knowing the possibilities along with all of the resources you have for information (the NWS, local media, Ryan and I, etc.) is a great way, if not the best way to manage and even reduce storm anxiety. I'm a part of this crew because I believe in the mission to educate and inform, i.e., the social side of meteorology. With that being said, I hope this video contributes to your side of that transaction: tornado knowledge and situational awareness!
Y'all did great.
Good job.
Hi Andy!!!
Great job Andy! Y'all keep 'em coming!

I was gonna say that title is fer sure guaranteed great click bait. At least one can get educated!
This is really excellent, with intense but concise and clear delivery of the most important long-range storm forecasting. Thank you for all the work this took to put together. You and your team help planning for all affected, and you have saved lives with your timely, focused warnings.
I've watched the movie Twister about 8 times. What a passion the characters had for trying to find out more about how a tornado works. Ryan's passion for awareness and preparedness goes beyond just forecasting and chasing. Thank you, Ryan, for advancing the bar!

Thank you Ryan! We will be tuning in to see your forecasts, updates and live streams, even when the severe weather isn't in our area we love watching you and your crew in action. You all are amazing!! Saving so many lives!
In February 2009, there was a tornado outbreak in Arkansas. One tornado traveled some 120-150 mi and caused a lot of damage. We lost a few businesses and a mini mall just blocks from my house as the crow flies. The sound a tornado makes is something I never get over!
There was debris and mail from 120-150 mi away that dropped in our area.
Tornadoes are very scary and everyone should always be prepared and on alert. I’m so grateful for your channel Ryan❤️❤️❤️

i’m glad you talked about the damages to the community no matter the number of tornados that happen in a year. I was part of november 2013 washington, illinois tornado, EF-4 damages, still affecting everyone in the town 10 years later.
Got my NOAA radio and storm shelter. I’m ready! Thanks for the awesome video Ryan it always makes my day when I get your notification.😊
Kind of crazy to think that one power ball payout was double the estimated damage of all tornadoes in 2022.
Excellent video brother! Thanks for putting forth so much positive energy to your videos, perfectly informational mixed with lighthearted humor and a great attitude. You always have a great team and I love watching so thank you much Ryan Hall.
I'm a certified Skywarn Spotter in northern Indiana. I recently came across this channel and I'm really starting to enjoy it. The presentation is much more informative and refreshing. Ryan Hall is definitely going to be one of my staple meteorologists alongside Jim Cantore going into the 2023 tornado season.
Also, due to reasons not relevant to this comment, I find myself needing a new NOAA weather radio. Hadn't started shopping for one yet, but now I don't need to. Definitely going to pick one up from the website.
This is great, Ryan! Thank you! You and your team bring such great content. I think the majority of us prefer to watch you live over our own local news channels. 😊Keep up the good work!
I definitely agree with this comment - my family loves to watch Ryan live as well !
Thx for the hard work to tell us when and how the storm will develop and what will happen this year. Thx for helping people.
The time and editing required to put your videos together is immense. My last 3 short videos have probably taken a full days work to put together 😵💫✌️
I love to follow you, but must say that tornadoes scare the crap out of me. Even if there is just one and you are in it's way it's one too many. But thank you for all you do and keep up the good work. We appreciate your enthusiasm and knowledge, there is no one like you when it comes to reporting weather!!!!
Just starting following you. Thanks for all you do. I live just outside Amory, MS. I watched you track that system across the state of Mississippi where the tornado hit Amory. You are a life saver. Keep up the good work.
The question I have been waiting for, thank you Ryan. 🌪
Learned a lot from this ! Appreciate you and your team and all the hard work you guys do!!!
I watch your videos. I love the info you put out, even if it isnt an emergency storm outbreak. I love to see the patterns and how weather effects everything. I am fascinated with the "blizzard of 93" in the south and why it happened and if it can happen again. I didn't live in the south at that time, but my siblings did, and every time it snows, I hear "the blizzard of 93..." haha. I lived in AK at that time and we had a lot of snow that year as well. haha
I love learning about things from a big picture perspective, thank you so much for educating and informing your viewers! I finally know the why instead just the what for my local weather!

Thank you 😊 Ryan. God bless you and yours.
The only person on UA-cam I get excited about when he drops a new video. I don’t watch any other weather person but Ryan. I also learn so much from this channel.
Thanks for the information Ryan. We shall see what happens in the Northern Central states this year - i am in the Chicago area. The weather here in the Chicago area this winter has been unusually mild. We get a couple real cold days and then it goes back up into the 40's. Today it is just over 40 degrees. Snow falls so far have been on the light side - seems more rain than snow. I don't mind this weather being a summer person, but it is quite strange. I keep saying have the seasons shifted to other people????
Time shall Tell how this weather will all play out over the year 2023.
Thanks for the video Ryan.

I remember the 2012 tornado outbreak here in DFW. I was just a kid but I remember there was one tornado that passed my school not super far away, and I remember the wind. The sound was crazy. I used to be scared of storms but now they get me excited lol.
