I almost got into a car accident yesterday, and I can't stop thinking about what could have happened. However, as I was practicing, I realized how lucky I am to have a second chance-to have another day on this planet. We often take everything for granted, my friends. I have A LOT of gut problems and doing this practice actually made me cry. I could feel the relief instantly. Knowing I’m putting in the work to take care of something that makes my life very difficult at times is a powerful feeling. Thank you for all that you do, Adriene.
Made me almost cry too. I think it's also because of unsolved emotional trauma. You are showing for the first time genuine love and care to your body. That's your soul's way to thank you. You should give a try to self love guided meditation.

ok, so quarantine has been really hard, as someone who suffers from an eating disorder. Despite this, I have been waking up every day, and doing yoga, and finishing the day as well. This practice was a life saver tonight, because I could feel my thoughts spiraling and twirling into a massive pit of anxiety and body hate. I just stopped and decided to do some digestive yoga, and I have to say, without this, I would have had a horrible nights sleep leading to an even worse day tomorrow and the cycle would have started up again. So I thank you for this free practice that literally saved my week.

This came in just in time when I was suffering from severe constipation. I now am glad to say that I feel a lot better having done it. I'm legit convinced that Adriene reads our minds before making every video. Thank you, Adriene for yet another lovely practice. You truly have changed my life for the better and made me realize that self-love is the best love. Keep spreading the vibe everyone. Much love. Namaste.
One way to help against constipation is something like acupressure - with your index finger press the point of your nose. Press and hold for a few/several seconds. Works absolutely always, so make sure you don't over do it. I learnt this technique years ago, and since then I have shared it with so many friends, and it has helped them. I wish you health!

I was on the road of finding what feels good long before I met you, and I have come a long way. For four years now, you have been my young guide and companion, and I try to practice with you every day. There are many things in our relationship I am grateful for. I will just share what particularly sparked my gratitude recently: On your Yoga for tension relief you say at one point (6.37 minutes): „Tension … is a many splendored thing“, and then you laugh and get back to teaching. It instantly sparked my joy, because I love that song, and many times a song’s words float to my mind like they do to yours. But it also made me realize how much care is in your language. It is clear in every video that every word you use is the result of a loving, thoughtful process. And yet you still let yourself be spontaneous and make room for your whims and ideas! Balance calendar December 2021: Recovering from a bout of food poisoning, so I skipped forward to this goodie to tend to my poor gut. To be honest, this practice felt much better than medication. It feels simply wonderful to move my body again, albeit gently, to Adriene's soothing voice. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Adriene, for all that you do for us ♥️🙏
I have these random episodes of nausea and my heart races like I'm having a panic attack and it ruins my stomach for the day. I had one today and it feels like a blessing that this video was posted. I'm usually really angry at my gut for "betraying" me, but this helps me heal and celebrate it today!

Awesome yoga practice Adriene! My tummy thanks you, and so do I. ❤ I love how gentle, and kind this yoga practice was. It is exactly what I needed today, as I have my period, and didn't want a practice that had lots of moving. This had just the right amount of moment, without making my pain worse. I got quite lost in the moment with this practice, it went so quick ! I loved this practice and really felt the connection with my core and inner organs. I have one of those coffee grinders Adriene, a wooden one with a little draw so it’s easy for me to imagine my inner self 😆 so good ! Time to contemplate all those things you did so well, all the things great and small that tickled and surprised you, filling you with wonder. Do that again! It was just this year that I learned the meaning of the word solstice, "sun standing still." I thought of how yoga helps us to find stillness within the movement of practice and our lives. As we are now on the brightening side of that still point, may you be nourished by the light and may you find the pause within and between the activities of your days.
Day 16 complete I did yesterday's and today's yoga with my brother but I wasn't able to comment yesterday that one was fine and this practice was good. 11/16/2024

Thank you Adriene- I broke my fibula yesterday (out for a run-rolled over on a pine cone)- the thought of not running made me cry- lots...in front of an ER doc I don't know, I worried about showing up to the mat today- but I wanted to Honor my commitment to my practice and usher out 2020 in the most peaceful way possible- so, gut health here I come!! I plan to adapt however I have to, to show up for Breath- 30 day yoga journey and muster through recovery, any other alternative is unthinkable!

All of the current transits, eclipses, moons etc have been bringing up deep rooted issues into my solar solar, and it has been feeling very stagnant, tight, and blocked. This has offered great relief, I even felt the energy of those traumas being released! Thank you Adriene!!
Okay, I had already done this one earlier in the month when I needed to switch out, but it had already gotten late into the evening, and the headache I have had since I was asleep last night had not abated much. Adriene I found your channel 2 years ago and started one of your 30 day yoga challenges. I think it was the dedicate one. At that point I never done yoga before. honestly at first I wasn't a fan of yoga only because I wasn't good at it. But I was commited to doing it anyway and I have improved so much. So now I've been doing yoga almost every day sense and it has changed and helped me in so many way in my life. I just can't thank you enough for you and for you being so commited to making these videos. Thank you again!
Yoga with Adriene is literally a life line for me. 3 months ago I had a kidney transplant. My recovery has been very difficult from the intensity of the immune suppressing medication causing multiple side effects, infection and very low cell counts from lowered immunity and deep struggles emotionally from the trauma of organ transplantation. Finding balance in recognizing the elements that encompass what total healing is, for me begins in learning how to adequately care for myself to nourish physically, emotionally and spiritually in this "new body with very changed needs". Right now, there is no other way for me to begin overcoming the enormity of the obstacles I'm facing but to put the work in myself. I'm finding these moments on my mat connecting to specific sessions on Yoga with Adriene have given me the ability to better listen to my body, what its saying, asking for, observing my deep breathing (or lack thereof alot) and recognizing where I'm holding my stress and trauma. It's a day to day practice and one I'm just really starting on navigating my way through without preconceived thoughts about where I need to or will end up. It's not about getting to the end point its about being willing to consider possibilities about the importance of giving myself the best care I can in however I hear and feel my body talking to me. I've already created a playlist of sessions that speak most to me and already feel the benefits of that practice in myself as a whole ♡

I got a little sick after my vaccine shot so I switched the last two days of BALANCE (Dec 2021) with meditation practices, but I'm back on track baby !

I woke up this morning with an awful feeling in my gut. I felt nauseous and bloated and didn't want to do yoga at all. Then I found this video and thought I'd give it a shot. I'm going to be honest, my gut problems aren't magically gone, but I do feel loads better from when I first woke up. Thank you Adriene!
I chose a bit of a workout yesterday, and feeling it in the limbs this morning, so this low to the ground practice was really welcome. It was super yummy, concentrating with the belly breathing slow and kind. I could feel it reaching my digestive system, so good. I was told about Yoga with Adriene in January. And I did Breath and have continued the journey with the monthly calendar. I am noticing things especially between my head and body. Recently, yesterday included, have dealt with bowel obstructions or partial ones. The difference yesterday was I was noticing gut things before it got really obstructed. Perhaps next time I’ll do something about it when I first feel “off.” I tell all this to thank you! I did this class specifically to nurture the gut that had such pain yesterday.

Adriene, the clarity and quality of your teaching has inspired me to practice yoga almost every day for some years now. You're able to explain important details in such a way that it's made me way more mindful of my body. Exercise feels so much better than it used to - I was never a sporty kid and I hated competition. As I grew older exercise became about appearances. My yoga practice with you and other teachers has taught me what's truly important - the health of my joints and muscles, the feeling I get being able to do a push up, the mental clarity I get after a balancing posture. Thank you so much.. I am suffering through cystic acne and the major part contributing to this is my weak digestion. I did this 18 min yoga with no hopes , but it actually worked! I'm feeling so relieved that I found a solution to my constipation.. Will do this everyday from now..
This is the second time I'm doing this practice (and I'm congested again haha) and I have to say, this practice is so so so great and calming and balancing!! As a person with celiac disease, I really appreciate any digestive system-centered practices ♥
I loved this practice and keep practicing breathing. Supine Spinal twist pose is awkward, I can bend right knee and cross it outside of your left leg close to the left knee slowly start twisting towards the left side use your left hand to put slight pressure on the bent knee push. And do the same with the other leg. But I cannot keep one side of the shoulder down when you look over your shoulder. Able to keep one shoulder but not the other. Thank you x

Needed this tonight
ok, so quarantine has been really hard, as someone who suffers from an eating disorder. Despite this, I have been waking up every day, and doing yoga, and finishing the day as well. This practice was a life saver tonight, because I could feel my thoughts spiraling and twirling into a massive pit of anxiety and body hate. I just stopped and decided to do some digestive yoga, and I have to say, without this, I would have had a horrible nights sleep leading to an even worse day tomorrow and the cycle would have started up again. So I thank you for this free practice that literally saved my week.

This came in just in time when I was suffering from severe constipation. I now am glad to say that I feel a lot better having done it. I'm legit convinced that Adriene reads our minds before making every video. Thank you, Adriene for yet another lovely practice.

One way to help against constipation is something like acupressure - with your index finger press the point of your nose. Press and hold for a few/several seconds. Works absolutely always, so make sure you don't over do it. I learnt this technique years ago, and since then I have shared it with so many friends, and it has helped them. I wish you health!

Dear Adriene, before your letter arrived today, I had decided to write to you, for once.
I am by many years your senior. I was on the road of finding what feels good long before I met you, and I have come a long way. For four years now, you have been my young guide and companion, and I try to practice with you every day.
There are many things in our relationship I am grateful for. I will just share what particularly sparked my gratitude recently: On your Yoga for tension relief you say at one point (6.37 minutes): „Tension … is a many splendored thing“, and then you laugh and get back to teaching.
It instantly sparked my joy, because I love that song, and many times a song’s words float to my mind like they do to yours.
But it also made me realize how much care is in your language. It is clear in every video that every word you use is the result of a loving, thoughtful process. And yet you still let yourself be spontaneous and make room for your whims and ideas! It is so beautiful to witness when you let your inner child out!

Recovering from a bout of food poisoning, so I skipped forward to this goodie to tend to my poor gut. To be honest, this practice felt much better than medication. It feels simply wonderful to move my body again, albeit gently, to Adriene's soothing voice. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Adriene, for all that you do for us ♥️🙏

I have these random episodes of nausea and my heart races like I'm having a panic attack and it ruins my stomach for the day. I had one today and it feels like a blessing that this video was posted. I'm usually really angry at my gut for "betraying" me, but this helps me heal and celebrate it today!

What's crazy about today's practice is that I've been having a belly ache all afternoon. I swear sometimes the Universe amazes me! Perfect timing for this video :)
That was gorgeous. Thank you Adriene for that, I really needed a practice like this, this morning. Yesterday I had a really horrible Fibromyalgia flair up, your yoga Yesterday helped get me through it. But this morning I needed something thing to just cleanse all that pain of Yesterday away. This was just the practice for that, i thank you and so does my body. I got quite lost in the moment with this practice, it went so quick ! I loved this practice and really felt the connection with my core and inner organs. I have one of those coffee grinders Adriene, a wooden one with a little draw so it’s easy for me to imagine my inner self 😆 so good ! It was just this year that I learned the meaning of the word solstice, "sun standing still." I thought of how yoga helps us to find stillness within the movement of practice and our lives. As we are now on the brightening side of that still point, may you be nourished by the light and may you find the pause within and between the activities of your days.

Thank you Adriene- I broke my fibula yesterday (out for a run-rolled over on a pine cone)- the thought of not running made me cry- lots...in front of an ER doc I don't know, I worried about showing up to the mat today- but I wanted to Honor my commitment to my practice and usher out 2020 in the most peaceful way possible- so, gut health here I come!! I plan to adapt however I have to, to show up for Breath- 30 day yoga journey and muster through recovery, any other alternative is unthinkable!

All of the current transits, eclipses, moons etc have been bringing up deep rooted issues into my solar solar, and it has been feeling very stagnant, tight, and blocked. This has offered great relief, I even felt the energy of those traumas being released! Thank you Adriene!!
Okay, I had already done this one earlier in the month when I needed to switch out, but it had already gotten late into the evening, and the headache I have had since I was asleep last night had not abated much. I was not feeling like searching around for another video, and since I always find this one beneficial, why not do it again.

Adriene I found your channel 2 years ago and started one of your 30 day yoga challenges. I think it was the dedicate one. At that point I never done yoga before. honestly at first I wasn't a fan of yoga only because I wasn't good at it. But I was commited to doing it anyway and I have improved so much. So now I've been doing yoga almost every day sense and it has changed and helped me in so many way in my life. I just can't thank you enough for you and for you being so commited to making these videos. Thank you again!
Yoga with Adriene is literally a life line for me. 3 months ago I had a kidney transplant. My recovery has been very difficult from the intensity of the immune suppressing medication causing multiple side effects, infection and very low cell counts from lowered immunity and deep struggles emotionally from the trauma of organ transplantation. Finding balance in recognizing the elements that encompass what total healing is, for me begins in learning how to adequately care for myself to nourish physically, emotionally and spiritually in this "new body with very changed needs". Right now, there is no other way for me to begin overcoming the enormity of the obstacles I'm facing but to put the work in myself. I'm finding these moments on my mat connecting to specific sessions on Yoga with Adriene have given me the ability to better listen to my body, what its saying, asking for, observing my deep breathing (or lack thereof alot) and recognizing where I'm holding my stress and trauma. It's a day to day practice and one I'm just really starting on navigating my way through without preconceived thoughts about where I need to or will end up. It's not about getting to the end point its about being willing to consider possibilities about the importance of giving myself the best care I can in however I hear and feel my body talking to me. I've already created a playlist of sessions that speak most to me and already feel the benefits of that practice in myself as a whole ♡

I got a little sick after my vaccine shot so I switched the last two days of BALANCE (Dec 2021) with meditation practices, but I'm back on track baby !

I woke up this morning with an awful feeling in my gut. I felt nauseous and bloated and didn't want to do yoga at all. Then I found this video and thought I'd give it a shot. I'm going to be honest, my gut problems aren't magically gone, but I do feel loads better from when I first woke up. Thank you Adriene!
I chose a bit of a workout yesterday, and feeling it in the limbs this morning, so this low to the ground practice was really welcome. It was super yummy, concentrating with the belly breathing slow and kind. I could feel it reaching my digestive system, so good. I was told about Yoga with Adriene in January. And I did Breath and have continued the journey with the monthly calendar. I am noticing things especially between my head and body. Recently, yesterday included, have dealt with bowel obstructions or partial ones. The difference yesterday was I was noticing gut things before it got really obstructed. Perhaps next time I’ll do something about it when I first feel “off.” I tell all this to thank you! I did this class specifically to nurture the gut that had such pain yesterday.

Adriene, the clarity and quality of your teaching has inspired me to practice yoga almost every day for some years now. This is the second time I'm doing this practice (and I'm congested again haha) and I have to say, this practice is so so so great and calming and balancing!! As a person with celiac disease, I really appreciate any digestive system-centered practices ♥
I loved this practice and keep practicing breathing. Supine Spinal twist pose is awkward, I can bend right knee and cross it outside of your left leg close to the left knee slowly start twisting towards the left side use your left hand to put slight pressure on the bent knee push. And do the same with the other leg. But I cannot keep one side of the shoulder down when you look over your shoulder. Able to keep one shoulder but not the other. Thank you x
