The Archville tutorial is new I think. I didn't get it when I first played that level on release day. I ran around dying for about a half hour looking for a buff totem. Eventually I ran past something weird looking and thought "Was that a wall of fire?"

Colorblind options are for the UI, not the actual color of the game world. But also, I probably wouldn't use them if they changed the color of the game world because it'd look weird for everyone ELSE who are watching the video.

No, because if you were multiplying the bodies then it would imply that you were adding more to them, you're dividing them since they're becoming parts of a whole
He was definitely nerfed, they changed his movement patterns to be way more predictable and less focused on zoning before he was vulnerable. You can find some videos of the post nerf changes
@@Williaso they made him 25% more resistant to sticky bombs and made him no longer vulnerable to the ice bomb glitch Edit: sticky bombs also used to falter him at launch

You weren't paying attention to the video lol. I don't hate the tutorials, I hate that they're intrusive. They could be at the bottom of the screen and not interrupt gameplay, or hints on the side, but it halts you completely to tell you the information. The info is still important, which I said specifically in the video.

to explain the pop-ups, easy mode is a tutorial for hard mode. it tells you the best way to kill a demon because by time you’ve figured it out on nightmare you’ve died enough times to make infinity sound like a small number.
thats part of the fun with the archvile. sometimes when things are chaotic it's hard to tell if it's a buff totem or an archvile and you have to figure it out.
I liked how the game starts in the middle of the catastrophe with Doomguy already halfway through getting to the first Hellpriest. It really shows how Doomguy wasn't wasting any time and was already on top of things.
believe my apparently the pop ups were completely necessary because it seems so many people read the pop ups and then complained the game was too hard even though it told you how to fight almost every single enemy

I got tired of the pop ups too, so I turned them off and I was COMPLETELY blindsided when the Marauder popped up and I tried to fight him aggressively. It went about as well as you'd expect.

But without the box popping up and instructing me to keep a certain distance and wait for the green flash before attacking, I aggressively pumped everything I had into his shield without knowing I was doing it wrong. One of the loading screens between attempts told me how to handle the fight, which I don't think should be necessary. If a fight breaks all of the best practices you've learned from the game up to that point then it should be communicated to you in-game and not in a text box.

I am surprised that the new brain demon doesn’t have an intro like the Imp in Doom 2016 which is a factor of that game I liked better, the art style and the presentation.

The pop ups are annoying if you already know what you are doing but if you take your time they help a lot. I know that my first play through I skipped all the pop ups and kept dying on the easiest mode, bit when I started a knew save on ultra violence I read all the pop ups and that helped me.

Blood Swamps on Nightmare was fucked. The second DLC was a bit of a piss take really, and the clearly blatant rip off from Avengers Endgame with the portals scene.

The whole "Hero stares down the enemy forces, looks left and right and sees the portals of his allies showing up" was a blatant rip off from Captain America's scene. Anyone who defends TAG Pt 2 is openly accepting and welcoming a mediocre ending to what was a viable candidate for best shooter of the year

@Paul Martin At launch the 1st Arch-Vile in Taras Nabad didn't have a tutorial popup. ID added it in a later update, because...yeah

There are colorblind settings in the options. Have you tried them? Maybe they can help you see better
The colorblind options change the HUD element colors, not the environment colors. Red room will still be red

He hasn't been nerfed. In fact - he was buffed by making him dodge out of ice bombs. I think the "nerf" he mentions is the stun effect.
