No, the Halo Infinite Cortana goodbye-scene is not better than Halo 4. In Halo 4 its like actually watching a loved one die. Halo Infinite's version at the end of the day only exists to pretend Halo 5 never happened and it emotionally feels like watching a family member committ uninstall in jail after they killed 5 people.
I wonder what their KD ratios are. They're only S4's so they're nowhere as badass or thicc as the og 2 and 3s but still. KD ratios are always nice to see
@@wastelandlegocheem spartan 4’s are the same power level as spartan 2’s The spartan4’s are smaller though, and likely lack the same level of training since they aren’t trained up from being child soldiers, but power level they are the same
These Hunters are smart. They refuse to be baited to melee and when they do they do it fast so the chances of getting to shoot at their back are barely present. It’s a good type of challenge and not spammed too much since they are really rare in the game. And yes, Needlers and explosive weapons deal with them well but I like to focus fire their joints.
Not sure if you meant hate... because hate makes more sense. On legendary there was a lot of times when I questioned if they were even taking damage from my weapons. Had to keep threat sensors on them to watch their health bars. Felt like fighting a fast moving wraith, and the wraith is easier. Lol
@Introspective Rage Played legendary, refused to use sentinel beam due to cheesing. That's the easiest weapon in the game. Though not sure that works on hunters, never tried. Currently doing a sidekick only challenge with no abilities but the grapple in my 3rd playthrough on legendary. Challenges I have done, no shields, no Hud, reduced ammo, and needler only. Next will be plasma pistol only. Game is more fun the more challenging you make it. Give it a try. Anyways take care. Replied due to notification.
A thing I found interesting in this game was that they used red and blue as team colors in the storyline/writing for the campaign (both literally and symbolically). Red meaning enemy/banished and blue meaning friendly/human. They also changed Cortana to be purple because she is now an enemy but chief still remembers her as a friend whom he failed.
@@Execuor yeah, I like the idea it could be both a callback and a slight nod towards color design. The John Wick franchise does this to symbolize whenever John is in control (Blue I believe) and whenever he is not in control (Red).
@@firstconsul7286 I was thinking that the reason they went back to that shade was to easily visually differentiate her model from the Weapon's model. Also it makes her stand out in all those hologram conversations in the game
The thing with the smell sensors actually makes sense. On one hand, for analyzing the close atmosphere for various substances and on the other hand, for SLLS (stop, look, listen, smell), to become aware of enemy camps ect. Smelling is a vastly underestimated sense and since reconnaissence is also a task of the AI, it actually makes sense, that the AI can smell.
Funny enough smell is used by the brutes a lot too. Explains the open helms common to them. In an audio log two brutes pause and sniff, noticing they aren't alone. They had smelled the human hiding nearby
@@freeziboi3249 Although a Spartan suit wouldn't really be impacted by toxic gases (he goes into the literal vacuum of space) I can see it being useful for marines and such. There's definitely a lot of other things it can be useful for. Edit: Someone else said "the smell sensors are there to detect explosive residue indicative of bombs that might be used by insurrectionists (the original enemy of the Spartan program)"
I actually didnt have much trouble with the cheifton, as I saved 16 sniper rounds going i to the boss chamber, what killed me the most where the enemys that killed me as I ran away from the cheiftan
I had no problem with him at all on legendary, but goddamn those elite, skimmers and jackal snipers. once i got those i got the sentinel gun and melted the brute chieftain.
He was a jack ass. By far the toughest part of that fight. When I finally killed him I had to go iut side and just breathe before finishing the boss fight.
"Never gonna use the drop wall", to anyone foolish not to use this on legendary, you're missing out. Fully upgraded drop wall enhances your weapon shots and grenades thrown through it. It's good cover as well to snipe out the jackal snipers, dodging them is pointless. No matter how fast you are grappling, sliding, etc. They will hit you, Jackals got aim bot on legendary. Always use the sensors to know enemy positions, helps not get ambushed if you're doing a no death challenge. The Sidekick pistol is your best friend on legendary, especially the upgraded variant. Won't spoil fights, but the final boss.... bring a gravity hammer... that's my tip. Trust me.
The last tier helps grenades? On earlier tiers hitting the back of it caused the grenade to instantly explode and take out the wall so I never tried it later
@@Strav24 It helps all projectile based weapons, including grenades yes. Skewers, Cindershot, Heatwave, M41 SPNKR for example. The game also gives you not only in text, but a clear visual effect that it's enhancing your weapons, hard to miss it. It's a disruptor effect. An example, anytime you throw a grenade through the drop wall, it looks like the disruptor grenade. You probably thought you threw the disruptor grenade by mistake, but no. It's the drop wall. The best combination from experience was the cindershot, that really cleaned up the final boss room instantly on legendary. The Chieftain's Gravity Hammer, if you did not have one before with you, take it to use on the Harbringer. Hit the Harbringer 3 times, game over. You're done. Congratulations on beating legendary.
@@Grimlaw I get that it helps everything, trust me it was vital in a bunch of places. I was just confused on grenades, since my early experience with the two didn't go so well. Gameplay proving different than the tiny description. And by the time I got the last upgrade my playstyle was to avoid throwing grenades through the bank of the wall, since it rendered both useless

My brother showed me Combat Evolved when I was around 4. Can’t say he taught me anything, pretty sure I was just bonus points in FFA slayer with his teenager friends. I’ll always be thankful for him, still one of my favorite series. Excited to game with him again, he hasn’t carried me through an online match since we blocked halo 5 from our memories.
Similar story at a halo 3 party for my buddies 13th birthday party. His 20 something uncle slaughtered us all whole sale. Finally killed him once, literally once and all of kids lost our shit the rest of the night. Great memories lol
I used to always play against my little brother in and our cousins with them on a team together vs just me on hang em high. They never understood why I would always win besides just the skill difference xD We always played through the campaigns together my brother and I, kind of sucks not having coop.
20:01 was a reference to Samuel-034, the first Spartan killed in the war against the Covenant. He was very good friends with John-117 (Master Chief) which is why Chief sounds sad when giving those voice commands to shut down the AI.
I use custom bumper jumper setup. I used only the grapple the whole time because it was harf to setup switching nades and equipment. Good place yo start is to ditch the function to drop weapon, you can do that too with holding the switch weapon button/ key. Default case, Y. I use left stick click to use equipment, right d pad to bring up equip select and have each button ABXY for each tool. Same for using grenades except for left d pad.
@@Williaso ill be honest, its definitely one of the easiest ones with how open ended it is, and all the planning time you can give yourself. Boss battles are the scary part tho…
One thing I'm glad about is that FINALLY someone mentioned that Sorel killed alot of banished with a darn SCREWDRIVER I noticed that on my first playthrough and I've never heard anyone else mention that
I felt the parts where you jumped into the beam of light that immediately killed you and missing the small glowing interact-able before the boss fight. You are definitely NOT the only one that did those things.
I died in the beam, and spent so long, like atleast an hour, with that glowing object. Restarted the game repeatedly because it was the day it came out. I thought it was just a broken encounter.
Only watched up to the point I’m at in the campaign, but I can’t wait to come back and finish watching after I complete the game. Great stuff as always
Lol, same. UA-cam be recommending me spoilers. Yakuza Like a Dragon some months ago was the first time I experienced playing through and completing a game going in and staying completely blind and it was amazing. I want that for Halo Infinite so bad, but damn is UA-cam testing my total lack of self control.
"Only use the grappling hook rather than dealing with the equipment selection" is a mood. I tried using the threat sensor on the second invisible boss, decided it was useless and went back to grappling hook during that fight.
I piled up a bunch of battery bomb thingies and used the sensor to lure the elite, escharum and the older brute in the tower, escharum immediately went to his shield and the other two were 5 second boss fights
I beat this game in one 15 hour sitting on launch day, and the only reason I was motivated to play the whole thing was because I was streaming it to 5 buddies over discord (most of who hadn't played a Halo game since 2008). @@rowboat5294 nah, you can get so far ahead of him with grappling and kill him fairly quickly with the sentinel beam when everyone else is dead. It's all the skimmer snipers that are op. They aren't as good shots as jackels, but there are so many and they will take you down quickly.
@@rowboat5294 he dies super easily from explosive with the cowbell skull (or which ever one increases launch power). He might have a lot of health, but the game deals a massive amount of damage to enemies who get launched. Launch him into a ceiling with a grenade or rocket launcher and he goes down quickly. Other wise, the sentinel beam also makes quick work of him. The difficult enemies are the skirmishers/elite snipers who will sometimes one tap you across the map
20:10 I can safely say I didn't jump in it and die because my slow-ass got lost and not-Cortana Cortana passive aggressively let me know the beam would kill me 😅 God the writing in this one was superb.
I’d argue chiefs armor having “smell sensors” is very useful. As in certain circumstances it could mean life or death. Ex: smelling a gas leak in a room stopping you from blowing yourself up
"Smell sensors" XD have you ever heard of harmful gas sensors? Like a Carbon Monoxide detector, wtf would a "smell sensor" even do it has to know what the toxic gas smells like in the first place to know it's a toxic gas... ALSO MACHINES CANT FUCKING SMELL, THEY DETECT.......... 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Believe it or not, the other abilities were super helpful to me on Heroic, I haven’t started my Legendary play through, I really got good at switching between different modes
In case you haven’t done a LASO play through yet it’s super easy because of the Bandana skull that puts no cool down on the equipment. Don’t upgrade the threat sensor though it uhhhhhh, doesn’t show you their health.
6:01 the smell sensors are there to detect explosive residue indicative of bombs that might be used by insurrectionists (the original enemy of the Spartan program) Why they still have them on the most recent version designed for killing banished and is a mystery. Maybe it's just legacy support idk.
@@barnarnars8503 It was a tidbit of information from a long time ago, so I can't remember where I heard it from. Mjolnir armor does have an adaptive environmental filter that could theoretially used to detect explosive residue, but I can't find anywhere that explicitly states that.
We've been using bomb sniffers in airports for decades, but dogs are more effective and cheaper, plus unlike bomb sniffers, dogs can also detect other things, like drugs. We had people sniffers during Vietnam, that would supposedly let you detect VC sneaking through the jungle by detecting sweat and body odor. They worked... sorta... but turns out that they were calibrated using white people eating a Western diet and mostly just detected your own troops, rather than Asian people eating a Vietnamese diet, who smell different as a result of genetics, diet, and environment. Read accounts of soldiers in various wars, including modern day Iraq, and they'll tell you that in the dark, you literally can smell the enemy coming... as long as they're a different ethnicity and eat different food, anyway. So yeah, I fully believe that 500 years in the future, we could have a sniffer built into combat armor that detects alien funk.
I'm using the threat sensor a lot more now that I'm playing on Legendary. Situational awareness is underrated, plus since it's fully upgraded the health bars are a great way to see what's effective and prioritize targets.
Aye. They’re great for fighting hunters, because every second you’re in the open with a hunter is a second that they’re blowing you to bits. Really great skirmishing tool, its just that on lower difficulties skirmishing isn’t as much of a priority (also, control scheme for switching equips could use work).
@@Wraithfighter I found setting up my controls on an elite 2 controller with the paddles set as the dpad helped so much in making the equipment easier to switch between. Not everybody has that tho, and a better default scheme would have benefited everybody.
Yeah he's trash at the game we can tell by how many times he dies on Heroic. I finished Heroic first two days and this dude died more than I did in the first 10 minutes of the video.
2:58 The suit does come packed with liquified food and stuff to help the Spartan. In one book, Chief’s suit has this super energy drink in his suit that allows his energy to be completely refilled after, like, two hours of sprinting at full speed. So, yeah, Survival Mode most likely has a way to keep Chief automatically sustained while he’s unconscious.
Having smell sensors in Chiefs helmet would be a good idea because if a spartan was exposed to say cyanide or carbon monoxide which are odorless to humans the AI would be able to smell it and pick up on it but then again all spartan helmets have a CBRN platform so I don’t know why they would need it
I mean smell is just a set of nerves in your nose that pick up on different pieces of molecules in the air to create smell so really an environment/air analyzer would work and with the spartans going into space and other planets that would be a good addition to the suit for a host of reasons. given that humanity’s AI are based on brain scans of a human them still interpreting that as “smell” is a reasonable idea especially given their tendency to create visual representations of what is going on in the computer as they interact with it.
@@novathepug6692 I assume there always is, and that 343 will reasonably understand no one wants to stay for credits that long after all it isn't for us.

10:06 The same thing happened to me in that cutscene but my warthog was full of marines. They all disappeared which sucked because that entire level was ridiculously obnoxious and the marines could've at least helped a little. 22:43 Same thing happened to me as well, the objective marker just disappears after you get close, even if you scan again. But I actually cheesed Jega in under 30 seconds with the bulldog and melee, the victory felt unearned lol
Same thing happened to me at 22:43. For about 10 minutes I ran around repeatedly scanning, expecting the cinematic to happen when I walked through a particular spot.
In my case, they all got killed by the giant mining laser. I was so bummed because they were all equipped with the custom sentinel beam and they all died for nothing.
It didn’t despawn my marines, but it did spawn my warthog inside the laser drills and checkpointed, so every time I died it reset to all my marines exploded and being atomized
You wanna know what's really 11 hours of torture. Doing this games LASO run and then on the 2nd to last mission before the boss fight accidently grappling away the null cannon and being unable to get it back from restarting the mission because the game decides to throw you at the start of the level with the gun you accidently grappled
22:40 nope not the only one. It took me a solid 10 minutes to find this little node thing. I was pretty tense in the beginning bc I knew the boss battle would start as soon as I found it. After a while it just became frustrating not being able to find it while listening to the same dialogue over and over.
I finally found if after searching THE ENTIRE FRICKING PLACE over like 10 times, It never occurred to me that that little dot on the ground was what I was looking for. I just picture Jega ( I think that was his first name ) Watching it happen and thinking I'm a complete, fucking, moron. And dammit he's right

I LOVE the Hunters! They are super fun! They a ment to be tanks, that has always meant to be their while purpos. Even in the books they were ways sent in as a "Fuck it! Drop the nukes!" type enemies, so these are the most accurate Hunters put in a game!
I felt the same exact way about 24:47 cuz that one brute is legit a boss fight in and of himself. He is actually harder to kill than the Harbinger smh.
I’m surprised I’m like the only person that actually used the other equipment while not on legendary. I would have used the grapple even more if I knew how to do the charge thing with it (hold down melee button). The drop wall was pretty useful when I was naked without cover, the thruster was useful only when active camo-ing. Also what are you talking about that the motion tracker was useless? Extremely helpful when in giant groups of enemies or on tanky ones, plus the health indicator part helped a lot in those cases,
I think some of the issue is how painfully long it takes to get to the right equipment. It’s a little much to ask to remember a button combo in the heat of a fight. They should’ve just gone with the system every previous Halo game had (with grenades) where you hit the “switch” button until you get to the one you need. A lot easier when you’re in a pickle to remember how many times I have to press right on the D-pad than a D-pad button combo, and I’m sure I’m not the only one
I used drop wall and threat sensor at times, on heroic. Thruster I've barely touched besides getting the "use it 50 times" thing. Grapple does same thing but better, with stun blast attack on enemies.
@@itsthemumu8585 if you think that's hard then don't play any league of legends, breath of the wild, or any other game with changeable perks cause that's just a normal feature by now

The beam emitter with three wraiths took so long. The worst part is after when I was done, I discovered there was a scorpion you were supposed to use nearby…
there was a tank nearby?!?!? you are joking, i flew to each of them with a banshee, but had to land nearby because i would get shocked and the wraiths would shoot me while disabled
About the drop wall, though I agree with you about the equipment and grenade selection being extremely annoying, even when you memorize which button combo selects each item... The drop wall is incredibly useful in situations where running away is not an option.

11:08 that is so relatable. I literally never used any other gadget because it was far to inconvenient to switch to literally anything else other than the grapple
And the grapple when upgraded it just so fucking useful on heroic. Heavy melee that one hits a lot of brutes. If not one hit, it stuns them. Plus blasts everybody around for stun and damage

my favorite broken cutscene was when you kill the two brute brothers and you gotta regroup with the pilot, i drove to him in a warthog and it just stayed there in the cutscene while he and chief just walked through and sat in it.

This was such a good game! I can’t wait for your “Real Thoughts” on it but also bc I’m annoying i think the “worse than the flood” is the primordials or precursors…technically still the flood just worse lmao
How could there be something WORSE than the Flood?" Because 343 is desperate to have their own enemy faction that people like that they can point to and say "we made that!" They tried it with the Didact, Jul'Mdama's Storm Covenant, The Created, Succeeded with the Banished, and now they are trying this once again with the Endless. Give them a chance and stop overreacting to a malfunctioning AI's ramblings. We have fought the Flood for 4 Halo games, there isnt anything else that can be done with space-zombies. They are dealt with the exact same way in every game, we find them, fight them, then blow something up to kill them all. Its not that cosmic and inspirational as some people think. Plus, im pretty sure I remember older Halo fans hating the Flood because they were annoying to fight...hmmm
@@jakespacepiratee3740 okay? So like tones are difficult to understand on the internet, idk if you were being sarcastic or not but the precursors/primordials are the flood (kind of) and when you listen to the Forerunner artifacts, it sounds suspiciously like that’s going to be the case. If it isn’t then yeah I’ll be a little annoyed with 343 but I hope The Endless aren’t the focus of whatever happens next, i REALLLY REALLLY hope it’s Atriox bc I prefer my Halo lore in books rather than in games.
Its the endless and they are worse because they are immune to the rings which made them incredibly deadly if they got infected by the flood because the flood would then be immune to the rings too. But because negotiation isnt the forerunners strong point they just imprisoned them all. The harbinger is one of them and they are understandably pissed for being imprisoned
@@guardsmanhansvonkrieg4862 Yeah no. 343 wouldnt introduce a new threatening race just to turn them into a pawn for an overused, thuroughly overexhausted enemy. I got really excited when I saw the death animations in the first part of this and thought, "Sweet! They brought back the heavy, weighted death physics of Halo: CE!" And then I saw the ragdoll physics again and realized that Halo hasn't been "Halo" since Halo 2.
That death compilation at 8:56 is great, can we get a short video that's just all the BS/funny ways you can die throughout the series? That would be gold. Lmao
Am I the only one who thought that we were going to take out the Created over time just like the Covenant? If you are afraid that would have meant fighting nothing but Prometheans, it doesnt really. I always thought that the traditional covenant races would have been indoctrinated into serving the Created, and thats what the ending of Halo 5 was setting up.
Infinite's campaign seems to be the first (and hopefully last) step to distancing themselves from 5's storyline. We're likely not going to see the Created at all from this point on

Something I really liked about this game is that the marines are actually GOOD. Not only can they fight, but they do something that hasn't been done since Halo Wars. They make the marines seem badass. In the sections where you rescue squads of marines, you can find the bodies of banished already there. And I'm not just talking about grunts or jackals. There are Elite warlords and Brute captains dead around them. The marines know how to put up a fight.
I know this comment is almost a year old now, but have your thoughts on the Marines changed by now? Because I just finished the campaign recently and I couldn't help notice that my marines died A LOT. Unless they have a power weapon, they don't do too much damage and they die quickly.

I really appreciate Chief keeping his weapon during cutscenes. He doesn't magically switch to an assault rifle he doesn't have
I just wish we saw the other weapon too, or at least one while driving.
Yeah, noticed he was holding a breacher battle rifle when I played. Too bad they don't let you change the skins of any of the banished weapons
That always annoyed me in the previous Halo games. I'd be carrying something else but the cutscenes show him carrying the assault rifle.

I actually love the hunters in this game as well.
I love their model.
I love their gameplay.
I love their "low proud grumbles".
i hate them cuz it takes up to 30 mins to kill them on EASY!
Lol
Theyre like dogs
I thought Cortana was back to purple as a callback to CE, since she's pretty much the same shade as she was then.
Shes purple in halo 1
She is purple in both Halo Ce and Halo 2 - It's from Halo 3 on wards that she turns blue. So it is potentially both.
The Jeff Steitzer cameo clip at the end had me crying. Said it before but it bears repeating: He's the wholesome we should all be aspiring to be.
Yeah for real, some toxic gasses and material have a distinct smell so it's a very useful sense
@@freeziboi3249 was that ammonia?
*dies*
Funny enough smell is used by the brutes a lot too. Explains the open helms common to them. In an audio log two brutes pause and sniff, noticing they aren't alone.
They had smelled the human hiding nearby
@@freeziboi3249 Although a Spartan suit wouldn't really be impacted by toxic gases (he goes into the literal vacuum of space) I can see it being useful for marines and such. There's definitely a lot of other things it can be useful for.

That's a rather insightful take
that brute chieftan at the end killed me more than any other enemy in the game. HE IS BRUTAL.
Haha Yeah because that brute guy alone i was in that room for about an hour.
Yup easily the hardest part of the game for me and was the only part of the story that I struggled, this guy deserves his own cut scene and lore 😂
Trust me.
The sword is fantastic in those last couple lil bits too......and there's a couple of em in that chamber.....
I’d argue chiefs armor having “smell sensors” is very useful. As in certain circumstances it could mean life or death.
Ex: smelling a gas leak in a room stopping you from blowing yourself up
Yeah and he is in a fully airtight suit do he can't smell otherwise
Or the flood, it’s smell is so vile it would cause new marines to throw up instantly
The hunter bros in legendary will be fun 😂😂😂 wait for it.
6:01 the smell sensors are there to detect explosive residue indicative of bombs that might be used by insurrectionists (the original enemy of the Spartan program)
Why they still have them on the most recent version designed for killing banished and is a mystery. Maybe it's just legacy support idk.
This is a really cool bit of lore, thanks for the explanation!
Is it from a book or something?
Cause all sorts of potential threats might be revealed by a chemical analyser, such as banished bombs for example.
@@barnarnars8503 It's from the halo book fall of Reach.

Having smell sensors in Chiefs helmet would be a good idea because if a spartan was exposed to say cyanide or carbon monoxide which are odorless to humans the AI would be able to smell it and pick up on it but then again all spartan helmets have a CBRN platform so I don’t know why they would need it
Say the chiefs with a buncha marines, could be handy
@@ItsSpaceSouls that would be a good way to know if there was a toxic substance in the air😂

22:42 I unironically thought I was soft locked, looked around the room for like 15 min before resetting a checkpoint by suicide, only to walk back in and see it after another fat search.
Wait, you had Jeff Steitzer doing some lines for this? Bloody hell, this is such a trap card right there...
*pushes like button*
Anyone else going to appreciate that absolutely top tier reference to doctor who, “hey who turned out the lights”
Appreciate that lil one 😂
This was such a good game! I can’t wait for your “Real Thoughts” on it but also bc I’m annoying i think the “worse than the flood” is the primordials or precursors…technically still the flood just worse lmao
Yea it could be the primorials or the endless, seem like the endless can manipulate time
How could there be something WORSE than the Flood?"
Because 343 is desperate to have their own enemy faction that people like that they can point to and say "we made that!" They tried it with the Didact, Jul'Mdama's Storm Covenant, The Created, Succeeded with the Banished, and now they are trying this once again with the Endless.
The thing that makes the Endless such threat that has not been revealed yet, but its integral to the Endless themselves. It isnt because "oh if flood touch them they be stronger!" That would be very anticlimactic.
Thank you Jeff for being with us for years ❤️
3:00 I remember there being a game where this actually happens. Autonomous power suits that have dead people in them but still continue to patrol and so on. Anyone know what this is from?
I would say RvB but then there's season 15 where the antagonist has a collection of armor with the starved corpes still in them
anyone else finds it annoying how on legendary, energy swords and gravity hammers can one hit you, but when you do it to elites or brutes it takes 2-3 hits?
Covenant tech (Banished in this case) has always been superior to Human tech.
19:30 thank you for correctly calling chief’s armor Mk.7 and not Mk.6. For those of you wondering, Chief’s armor is Mk.7, the permutation he’s wearing just resembles mk.6
18:01 to help your “dying” problem, try taking a razorback full with a squad of marines with a bit more, I did this every chance I got and managed to die a bit less.
Bro i do that all the time and also pick up the arcane sentinel beam if you haven't already and give it to all the maines it will kill bosses within seconds
Better yet the pinpoint needler if you want aimbot marines
Yes.
@@jobryantjab nah, use the sun beam.
@@nolanblodgett4712 I did one homing rocket launcher, two snipers, one arcane sentinel beam, and then either a sentinel beam or a sniper for the fifth guy, they shred anything at a distance.
The fact that you got the original announcer voice actor to participate in this is amazing
Can't say I have watched your videos before mate, however, this was much much funnier than I expected and not one part felt like it dragged, gonna watch some more content from yourself, keep up the good work, you've gained a fan!
i love the target locator... once you get your key binding down, it super easy to switch between it, grapple and thrusters... i always use the locator to scan a fob or area before assaulting
Fully upgraded threat sensor was my second most used equipment for sure.
i started playing when i was 4, and it was my uncle who introduced me to the game, and i have been a fan of halo ever since, and despite a few flaws, i actually loved Infinite's campaign
Completely accurate summary of losing my sanity
I got really excited when I saw the death animations in the first part of this and thought, "Sweet! They brought back the heavy, weighted death physics of Halo: CE!" And then I saw the ragdoll physics again and realized that Halo hasn't been "Halo" since Halo 2.
22:12 "and then I immediately get killed by the first enemy who walks through the door" 😂😂😂😂😭😭
I didn't jump in the beam, I was going to, but then Cortanot told me it would kill me. I did miss the little green disk too though.
We're likely not going to see the Created at all from this point on
@@Williaso The recent 343 Canon Fodder mentions "Created Remnants" still existing, and I doubt the Banished could rid themselves of a force that can blow up planets that easy.
@@jakespacepiratee3740 We don't know if any of the other AIs can still control the Guardians, and the Warden was forces to serve Cortana.
@@pokest45-pz52 The Forerunners organized themselves as a Council, so it would make sense if the Created did the same.
@@jakespacepiratee3740 exactly I refuse to believe the covenant 2.0 are strong enough to crush an army of AI with forerunner tech
As cool as the banished are, they’re really just the covenant but more brutes and red and edgy
"He's ready. Are you?"
*Checks off very obvious Halo Reach reference on my card*
1. yes I died in the glowing laser beam as well
2. yes it took me awhile to find that stupid video hologram thing when looking for brohammer lol
Jeff interview was amazing! Great review in general, hilarious as always
I jumped straight into Legendary and let me tell you.... That was an experience. Those red Hunters FUCK
Just beat the campaign on legendary too. I feel your pain. Every boss, Chieftain, and Hunter can fuck right off cuz they are such a pain to fight.
I don't play halo but I enjoy watching your suffering doing so. Thank you for your sacrifice
13:58
Lmao! Thank you for that. From now on Echo-2siXteEeN will be known as ‘Fetchmonkey’
Funnily enough I constantly forgot I had other equipment outside of a grapple. The wall thing dropped off the side of my memory after the first time I used it and remembered only when I couldn't figure out what to do about certain situations.
Yes!!! Thank you for using “defenestrated”. It is such a hilariously specific term I love to use 😂😂
And yes. I stumbled around for like 10 minutes at the Cyberder fight and even reloaded the last checkpoint thinking I broke something. I had to legit google to figure out what I was missing 🤦🏻♂️
Oh boy I can't wait to hear Will insult the game in several different ways I didn't even know existed
Just got done watching the video.
I liked it all but the Jeff Stietzer part was easily the best, but that's nothing personal since nothing can top a Jeff Stietzer appearance. He's just so cool.
I love how all of the halo games build up to this game in terms of master chief. They finally “humanize” him and I just love it
lol nothing builds up to chief being "human" It's shoe horned in and makes no sense. he's a brain washed super soldier ready to sacrifice himself in a split second. He doesn't "feel humanity", it would work against him in every situation. i Fucking hate 343s writing.
I love the delivery Master Chief gives at the ship console, "terminals locked down, requires a hack." "And you can do that?" "No." **Smash**
Honestly when Adjunct Revolution was leading you through the first spire my head immediately went to The Library too
25:59 *imagine if you could SKIP that part! Oh wait, you CAN!*
I’d love to see a halo infinite episode 2 with friends when co op comes out.
Never will
8:16 geez, ya think the model designers wanted to give Weapon something comfy to sit on?
I think 'Survival Mode' could be a form of putting a spartan into a cryopod whenever there are none around. Basically just cryosleep inside there suit. Maybe
I saw that little message asking why you subtitle your videos and I am extremely grateful that you sub your videos. I am deaf and makes it’s more enjoyable. Thank you❤️
Something I really liked about this game is that the marines are actually GOOD.
@@migueltoledo1884 I haven't played Halo Infinite in a good while, so I can't say that my opinion of its marines has really changed. But something I forgot to put in my original comment was that I was playing on easy or normal or something. Other than that, I don't really know why your marines would be different to mine
16:25 “pupupupuuuum pupupupuuuum” 😂
Smell sensors actually probably are useful for detecting dangerous chemicals and gases that might’ve been ignored otherwise
15:21 Cortanot can't open the spire because the wicked witch changed all the passwords. Cortanot needs plugged into 4 nearby social media networ- I mean, towers to sort through the witch's past so we can answer the password reset questions.
