You know, it says something when the HACKERS have better PR statements and customer support than the actual COMPANY whose game they're making cheats on.
At least the cheat companies sell finished products and are honest enough to not sell cheats when they know their cheats can't be run smoothly. They have more integrity than Dice/EA.

If one cheat provider is closing 2042 cheat subscriptions and the player base is already dwindling on PC according to steam charts (not including origin) what’s going to happen to other cheat services, they might follow or limit services. @@Timeyy you know their argument is that a true full game would now cost 200 dollars. just the mocap we get in our games is worth 70 dollars. around 2010 they kept hammering about price increase all the time. then they kind of quieted down for a while because they obviously found extra revenues. and then late 2010s they just announced that we will do a small 10 dollar price hike. people complained but it still seemed small because we were already used to 90 and 150 dollar special editions

You shouldn't of released it where cheats could drive the honest players away. The game cost me £106 and lasted 3 weeks. When I contacted support I was told it's my job to report them.

tbh, those, who work in legal grey zone often have really high standards. If people risk to get banned for using cheats, they should at least expect a "working" product and with a at the same time secure and easy distribution of the cheats. I think the "customer support" for these kind of softwares are really, really good and fast, especially for bigger games like BF, COD, etc. due to competition.
Just look how well designed pirated anime sites are and how easy they are to navigate, with multiple options for players, your own Lists to keep track, discussion forums etc. Meanwhile Crunchyroll didnt have html players for years (i dont know if they still use flash, wasnt on their site for months tbh.)
I bet many cheat-distributers put a lot of ressources into making the first cheats for a game form such a big franchise, just to get a trashgame, a lot of lost time. They honestly just cut their losses and know exactly, that people will now start to play COD a lot more.

I'm pretty sick of the mindset of "dont worry if the game is hilariously broken at launch, they'll fix it eventually and if you say otherwise, youre just a hater!" Especially in the case of such a high budget game like Battlefield. I can just imagine the DICE offices right now with the upper management running around like chickens with their heads cut off and the devs standing off to the side and saying "We told you so."

We've finally found the best Anti-cheat, simply just destroying the game.
When the bug that removed vertical Mouse movement was introduced that's when I threw in the towel and just uninstalled. It was mind-blowing that there were people on Reddit defending the bug saying just copy and paste the fix. Or reset your controls.

Ive noticed before i quit playing like 2 weeks ago that matchmaking times were taking alot longer than usual compared to launch day. And the matches i were in were usually bot filled and it would take a solid 5 or 10 minutes into the game before the lobby actually filled up.
Still laughing at those who pre ordered the most expensive edition aka "You get what you f*cking deserve edition."
My two friends paid 110€ for the game and one of them is still saying that is the best battlefield he played 😂😂

IMO the difference was that NMS was made by people who made a mistake and were hardcore enough to admit to it and then stake their everything into fixing it. The game did work but without more work put into it it would've died ignobly as well.
It's still not a damned strategy, though! It's a one-time special exemption we're giving to people who actually worked their asses off to earn it despite their circumstances and mistakes. EA don't get that curtesy on account of all the game studio corpses they left in their wake. Fuck EA.

I think not!) into the status quo but it's not like companies weren't doing shit like this before NMS. It's just that the fact that NMS ultimately redeemed itself in the public eye, at least to some extent, emboldened everyone to do the same. It's what CDPR is likely doing with CP77 and you still hear people talking about how "Fallout 76 is alright now, actually" ignoring the years since release it took to get to "okay."
I'm guessing their strategy is now to force people to preorder, release unfinished games, make a bullshit roadmap, see if anyone buys it and continues playing the game and then figure out if they're actually going to follow through with finishing the damned thing. Like with Anthem, for example, completely at random and definitely not related to EA being absolute shitholes.
ActiBlizz, Ubisoft and Take-Two taking the spotlight of off their bullshit must have made EA feel like they were actually alright now but holy shit can they ever stop being fuckwits?

@@KapAMF Are you in the EU or Australia? When you are able to refund for 2 years, according to customer protection laws for a broken product. They are not able to deny you a refund. It will hold in court. Just contact a local Customer protection organization, if them make any problems. Tell them that beforehand. Maybe they "make a refund as exception"

Bad product launches like that are calculated and be sure no one at EA Dice won’t be hurt about Battlefield2042 as much as fans of the franchise. For them it’s just a work that has to be done to make some money. For a fan it’s a lovely hobby you put your heart and soul and time into.

Imagine paying 60 dollars for a game and then paying more money to have the progress done for you, meaning paying to not play the game you bought. That´s the logic of the cheater and that´s why cheaters deserve to be discriminated against.
In the case of 2042, even the cheaters would rather not suffer through such a terrible game, and would rather you keep your money rather than pay them to play for you.
Cheaters generally don't do aim for these games actually because to cheat on an account costs 60$ then you have to make a new account or even get a whole new console.
The game being broken is what killed off the remaining few if any.

No, that's the logic of the Battlefield shortcut kits and the lootboxes that contain attachments, that EA themselves sell. The logic of cheaters is buying a 60 dollar game and then instantly being able to fuck with anyone else who's playing it and ruin their experience because getting good is hard.

Your statement and the likes it got is a perfect example of this. "Government regulation SOMETIMES..." - yeah, and because a system may fail SOMETIMES it becomes acceptable to ignore all possible benefits and not implementing it at all. Hell... traffic lights may fail sometimes - time to get rid of them! As with cryptocurrency? I'm really glad i decided to wait for reviews instead of pre-ordering right off the bat. That Beta was terrible but i really hoped they would've fixed most of the issues before launch. Its just really sad what this franchise has become.

I played 3 hours of the beta, 4 hours at a friends house (full release), then 7 hours at my place (full release free weekend). I tried multiple times. It’s bad. And I’m someone who played BFV through all the bull and still managed to really enjoy it.
