These Saturday Sessions and your new Breakdown series pair perfectly together. Practising with one of your Breakdown videos gives me the confidence to try this Saturday session with you. This is so incredible and helpful to learn. Thanks for Sharing the Knowledge!
Im looking for a usb midi mixer, to go to my laptop.. I like how yours has the moving platters, and the soiund wave graph in the middle :) Sadly, its just waaaay to expensive for me.. Could you recommend something similar, But at a more affordable price?! Thankyou
DJ TLM WHAT'S GOOD BABY..When are you going to do another tutorial 2023 dj advance beatjuggin/ scratches???I miss your djing tutorial baby.Keep Winning Dj Tlm.
Hi DJ TLM, I just got the REV7 and got technical question. In Instant Scratch mode the scratch sample drifts slightly while I am practicing , the beginning of the sound is not lining up with the marker(sticker) anymore. Is it normal? It doesn't happen with serato and loaded scratch sound.
How do the sample mode function work? I have the SP-404, does the sampling capability work the same way on the REV-7? Can you P.L.E.A.S.E. do a video on the sampling capabilities on the REV-7.
The REV7 has a sample player. You can load samples into the sample banks in Serato and trigger these samples with the performance pads on the REV7. So totally different compared to an SP-404
Hey first of all, huge respect, I am very grateful for the effort you put into putting information out. I'm having a hard time finding a email or DM for you and I have a couple of questions that have nothing to do with this video. First I have a Numark mixer with a dead man button (labeled transform) for each side of the crossfader. I get the feeling that's it a cheat and will hurt me in the long run since most mixers don't have this and I was wondering your opinion on this. And secondly, what's your feelings towards the innofader line, specifically I'm looking at a innofader pro2.
If the Numark has that feature and you like it, use it. It’s based on the old way of transforming using the phone/line switch to quickly turn the sound on or off. I used it on an old mixer that didn’t have a crossfader, but ever since I started using the crossfader I never went back to the phono/line switch ;) Like you said; other mixers don’t have this feature so be aware of that. You can use it, but it is in your best interest to also learn how to do it with the crossfader. I’ve never used Innofaders, but I’ve heard great stories. Lot’s of DJs use them
Epic!!! I actually learnt scratching techniques from you💯 ,highly appreciated.... Though i wonder why many dj's tend to use stickers as an indicator and there's a digital one available in the jog wheel??😅
Cleveland Terry explains in his channel why the sticker is better than the digital marker/ indicator inside the jog wheel… and it’s because when you press hot cues the digital marker/ indicator resets to some weird specific spots on the circle (different spots sometimes when you trigger different cue points) , whereas the sticker outside stays exactly where it supposed to be when you trigger any hot cue and you have the hand on the platter…having the hot cue starting right on the position to where you’re holding the platter with the outside sticker… this is massive crucial and very important (SPECIALLY for us Open format DJs that play all genres and are scratching on the fly with quick mixes every 25 - 50 seconds going through all different genres and songs and that all of that need to be ON POINT with that marker/ sticker or digital indicator when we trigger the hot cue and having a marker position in a certain clock position to execute scratches/ scratch patterns…(All pro DJs know this). 😅
@@DjFlynnNitrane I don’t think that can be fixed (or maybe they will fix it and find a way around it, I hope so)… I’m saying this because the inside circle (which holds the digital marker/ indicator) works as a mirror of the full track so it’s like a needle on the waves (on the horizontal display on the computer screen but this is on a circle inside the jog wheel) therefore it mirrors the cue points at a different positions on the track every time you trigger a cue point thus moving the needle to the exact second, minute, etc on the wave form of the track but this being the circle inside the jog wheel so it makes sense that this needle/ indicator moves all over the place on the circle every time you press a cue point (because it is following exactly where the cue point is on the track/ wave) so the digital indicator is going to move and behave totally different than the (“sticker/needle outside) because it would be more like analog the human being able to control it with the hand on the platter while the inside needle/ indicator is being manipulated and controlled by the computer behavior- commands you trigger with a button (trying to assimilate the cue points on the entire songs’ wave)… whereas with the outside marker/ indicator you just hold down the platter (making the marker/ Indicator/ sticker stopped completely and stay put until you trigger a cue point and then starting that whatever cue point with the marker/ needle/ indicator/ sticker on that same position that you’re hand is holding it. (It’s not going to move to a different position while triggering different cue points because you’re holding it down with your hands) … so basically you do have more power and control on your song/ record/ wave form like that with the analog/ raw way on the outside more than the computer way on the inside.
@@DjFlynnNitrane so basically…there is a technical flaw/ loophole in using the inside indicator/ marker/ needle in comparison to using the outside marker/ needle/ sticker. 🙃🙂
They put the Rev 7 in the right Djs hands...
Very inspiring videos..thanks for doing what you do.
Thanks! Unfortunately I don’t have it here anymore, but it’s at the top of my list💯

I tried both, and both work, but I do prefer the sticker on top. It still feels more accurate (to me)

It makes sense btw 💯😎....but i guess they'll fix it in a firmware update or sth....nice insights tho🔥🔥⚡
