For clarity reasons, is one factory slip ring more slippery than the 2 factory slip rings? Also how long to use them before you may need to replace them?

Two plastic slip rings is more friction than one.
However, adding a plastic slip ring to a felt ring will actually reduce the friction compared to the felt slip ring by itself.
