I've been practicing with you for 10 months now - today I had a new experience. At some point I started to feel a buzzing, tingling, energy flowing through my whole body and this sensation just stayed with me and kept energizing me. That evening I played one of your sleep sessions and in the morning I woke early so I listened to this one and that day I finally felt awake, alert and able to cope with life again after being unwell with Covid! I’m a trainee teacher and all week I’d been feeling exhausted and doubting whether I could cope with standing up in front of a class of teenagers. Thank you, Ali. Today, I am fasting and found myself heightened and in a keto state, so I did not fall asleep like I did on Monday when I tried to listen to this video. It was actually really great and rewardful. I feel more relaxed and aware of my body, I also feel rested. There is a pressure in my stomach from hunger and salivation though that is normal. I do this monthly to help my body maintain its balance and health. I felt a sense of sadness when you lead the consciousness of the hands though that may be a personal thing I am going through though still interesting. Ally, good day to you. I did very much enjoy this yoga nidra practice. Some days the shorter practice is helpful. My favorite breathing exercise you lead was where I allowed that I could breath in through my right palm, traveling up my arm directly into my heart. I pause for a moment then exhale through my left arm and out my palm. The next breath began from the left palm through my arm directly to my heart, pausing then exhaling down my right arm and out of the right palm. This practice felt so grounding and healing to my heart and nervous system. I sometimes us it when I have been triggered by a life event and need to center myself in my heart. Thank you ☺️ 🙏

I’m feeling so refreshed and energized following this practice. I really like the alternate nostril breathing and found myself really focusing on it.
