Wow what a great fight!
RIP sweet. I live litterally less than 1/4 mile from where he got hit. Saw him get placed on the gurney and get put in the ambulance. Didnt know it wad sweet until after the fact when I saw it on the news the following morning. Very sad situation. I hear that he was just beginning to get back on his feet from his struggles with addiction. Always be a legend in my book. RIP Pernell Whitaker.
R.i.P Roger mayweather and Pernell Whitaker. I remember floyd saying at age 17 he sparred pernell and got the best of him. No one has denied it either. But it's still sparring. Floyd style is similar 2 pernell.
I'm sweet pea son and when I asked about it he laughed and said let's be real I was a world champion Floyd was amateur/kid do you really think I took it serious
The styles are similar because Floyd spent a lot of time around my pops he looked at Floyd and also Zab like his sons
