I've gotten into a thing where for several months now I actively search reviews of Steven Segal movies. Grew up with 80's action and his movies always bothered me with his air of invincibility. But they're like a car wreck, I can't look away. It's mind boggling that he's actually trying to act serious in all of these movies, I just love it. Binging your channel, absolutely love it!
Other Aikido masters: Aikido is a fine balance of martial arts and spirituality, it uses the opponents strength and momentum against them, thus reflecting its deflective nature of said balancing, bringing one's chi and inner peace into harmony with nature itself. Steven Seagal: I slap around real fast, but seriously now, gimme the gun. Gimme two guns. No, wait....give me all the guns.
I actually got a "Seagal gave some decent acting" out of you in this review so I am satisfied. I really enjoyed the plot points they added in(like Seagal being a borderline alcoholic and obsessively lousy gambler although it didn't add much to the overall story) it helped give his character a little more realism instead of just being the always on payroll cop who is an unstoppable ass kicking machine. *Pistol Whipped" humanized Seagal a bit. And the scene where he puts his daughter to bed on the couch and sits down at his kitchen table and opens up a bottle of liquor about to take a drink but then he suddenly looks at his precious daughter sleeping and makes a conscientious decision to pour out the entire bottle..It's scenes like that that really set *Pistol Whipped* apart from your typical Seagal film.
Oh I TOTALLY agree. There are some really good moments. I felt so bad for him when he was trying to be funny knocking on the car window and his daughter just ignores him. It was so awkward and sad, and you really feel for him. I loved how he wasn't some extreme unstoppable badass. He had faults and made mistakes. So I eat my words haha. I can see it now, Part 2 to this movie….Seagal is gone and his daughter is grown up and takes over. Her first kill is laying broken on the ground before her. Before she delivers the kill shot, she points her double-fisted gold plated Kimber 45s at her target from the sleeves of her trench coat, staring through yellow tinted glasses. “Who am I you ask?” She says to the terrified mark about to take his last breath. “Well, it’s complicated…you see, I come from a long line of pony tails…”

@@RedEyeReviews The ultimate ⭕ Duh. A woman in Ottawa driving on a frozen river, the 4th time they replayed it they followed the yellow car with a ⭕ okay, I'm done with red circles. 🙂
I've noticed some trends in these Seagal movies- if Seagal has a daughter she will get kidnapped or attacked by the bad guys at some point and if Seagal is divorced the ex-wife still has the hots for him (because no woman that's half his age can resist him) and married someone that turns out to be a bad guy. Also there are a lot of crooked cops in his movies. Now a more interesting plot for this movie could have had Seagal killing good guys/innocent targets but he doesn't find it out until he gets tasked to kill Steve (whom isn't crooked in this. Maybe Steve is leading an investigation into the "Old Man" and refused to be bribed or intimidated). Old Man says that if Seagal doesn't go through with it he'll blow up the house to also kill the ex-wife and daughter along with Steve to solve things. If Seagal tries to go after the "Old Man" they'll kill people Seagal knows (like the priest) and frame Seagal for it. It's ultimately still a revenge movie but now Seagal has to deal with consequences for his actions.
Steven Seagal is what happens when people believe they are the person they're playing, and there's nothing more embarrassing 🤣 he tries way to hard to be intimidating and in a profession that requires 0% toughness. Put him in any real fighting situation with someone with half a clue and he'd crumble. Akido literally only works against people with no clue how to strike or grapple. It is by far the weakest well known self defence technique and even a master would be destroyed by an amateur boxer.
0:50 to 1:10 Segal just wanted to monopolize generic film titles. Seagal: Let's uh ... let's uh ... make thirty more movies just so I can secure thirty more generic film titles. Whomever is there to inquire: About what? Seagal: Who cares? Free movie sites will sponsor anything. Maybe I'll juggle dildos in a few of them, whatever. Perhaps I'll just talk slower while rambling on longer to water down the content, by doing so we could turn five movies into thirty.

Seagal: Fuck that. That makes too much sense. I don't like making sense
(Seriously, that does sound like a movie I'd watch).
Thought u said "followed SeagALL around".🤣😅
2:29 😂😂 Maybe that was too on the nose?
This movie was filmed im my town bridgeport ct
You need to do episodic reviews of Seagal’s Lawman episodes.
Oh without a doubt I will!
@@RedEyeReviews If you delve into *Lawman* territory you won't be disappointed.

Then you were a cop and they kicked you out-Lawman-
Steven Seagal is what happens when people believe they are the person they're playing, and there's nothing more embarrassing 🤣 he tries way to hard to be intimidating and in a profession that requires 0% toughness. Put him in any real fighting situation with someone with half a clue and he'd crumble. Akido literally only works against people with no clue how to strike or grapple. It is by far the weakest well known self defence technique and even a master would be destroyed by an amateur boxer.
You're my boy blue!
This movie is pretty good, one of the crown jewels with Into the sun and Urban Justice
Lol exactly. I swear his titles are a generator
Is that the bowling alley form there will be blood? Lol
Oh I thought blue walked right down the middle where segal was shooting cause he knew segals shooting skills
Sometimes the low hanging fruit is the sweetest lmfao
Lance Hendrickson in this. It bad. He was a big 80s star. Btw, I think Seagal did the same car window tap in another movie. Lol.
Wow that's a lot of guns brought to a priests funeral 🤣😂
