- We're two weekends into the race season and it's time for some updates to Trainer3. The goal is more power; small hinderances at COTA and AMP kept the straight line speed down, so a new header & exhaust setup and some more dyno time is in order. Things are looking pretty good for @Gridlife Round 3 @ncmmotorsportspark in 2 weeks!

Very cool to see how the modified S2k header performed. We did the same mod to the S2k header for our K24 S14 and I always wondering if that was holding the motor back.

I had the same issue with the Berk exhaust when I had my diff spacers in.
I get ignition timing now and why it's always in degrees, that was an awesome explanation 👍
Andy, when you say the most power you've dynoed on a k24 s2, does it refer to a stock k24(types oil pump+unopend engine)? Just wondering a somewhat semi buit NA k24's power potential on a RWD platform.
I'll like to see end result after this weekend i have plm header with 3 inch wander if will be worth switching to modify oem for better reults..
Darn, i should've asked you guys if you wanted my old Berk exhaust that i no longer need while you guys were at AMP :-(. If you have use for it, i'll donate it to the ASM fund at MidO or Limerock xD.

Thats a known common problem with the berk exhaust. Thats why i moved on to the hks single.
The Berk lost all its packing fairly quickly for me, so i went with the HKS Single as well, cause price is phenomenal and i absolutely can't complain. Can pass sound at AMP with it so definitely happy about that!
