I am still listening and I strongly condemn Israel reaction and killing of innocent people. However so far you have not condemned Terrorism supported by masses in islamic world. Even the most educated and sane Pakistanis either ignore are scared to condemn Hamas,AlQaida,Lashker and so many other Islamic organization that kill innocent people in a most brutal way. India adopted the policy of showing other cheek to Kashmiri militants and domestic terrorist in India and we got Kargil,26/11 and many other incidents I think enough is enough.

The speaker is really knowledgeable, but the way he casually said " Chalo hamas ne jo kuch bhi Kia" and then he proceeds to defend the inhumane act of hamas, if not justify, by saying that hamas is a result of oppression by israel , is a shame. I have nothing against Muslims, but Muslims across the world play the victim card and this is why most unstable countries and the countries with most terrorist are mostly Muslim countries. Why Two non Arabs acting as Experts on Arabs?. You must have invited an Arab to talk on this issue. The problem with us (Pakistanis) is that we are experts on many topics but in reality we usually have no concrete clue that what really is going on. Do you know that Arabs have conflicts among each other as well?. Arabs are not a monolithic group. Arab countries are fighting among each other as well due to Geo-strategic reasons.

@shehzad. As a Indian observer who enjoys your show please allow me share my feedback.
1. The show is nice, we follow it to understand how Pak society functions.
2. The speaker was very knowledgeable, whatever he said about so many topics, he was rarely wrong. Even when he guessed the intentions of nations, he was logical and convincing.
3. You were a bit unprepared to discuss military strategy for this episode. For eg, Isreali victory was complete militarily in 1973 (as the guest said), The Iraqi Mig did not defect so Israel could reverse engineer, it was probably to understand the radar and capabilities of the aircraft.
4. Again, you are too emotional about Palestine. We hope you to have an episode giving some Israeli viewpoint at least.
5. Lastly, you subscribe to lot of conspiracy theories, for eg, Egypt could not strike first in 1967 as it feared US attack (please read the relation between Naseer and his army chief to understand the complexities of that time, also, the Egyptians Army in 1967 was mobilized without any clear orders on what they have to achieve. )
Hope you take the feedback constructively. You are one bright light in a region which is perpetually dark for us.

Kashmir is winnable militarily.... Infact the terrain and demographics and economy does not inspire an all out nuclear war from the Indian side which is what will happen when India enters Pakistan from the international border because of its superior conventional forces 😎

26:24 Egypt was expecting a first strike from Israel airforce. They calculated Israel will fly over Sinai and that will give them the minutes needed to take of and be ready in air. That is why they were all on the tarmac.
Israel planned for this and flew out in the Mediterranean first and then attacked from the north, thus they evaded early detection and Egyptian pilots found out when their planes started exploding on the airfield.
There is a very good Al Jazeera documentary on this on their you tube.

My point is not that we should keep quiet on Palestinian deaths. But the contrast on muslim world's reaction on killings by non muslims is hypocritical and biased. Thus, the appeal to the world to interfere in this conflict seems political in nature and smells of religious bias and ignorance.

The guest is articulate but a cheerleader for the terrorists. He started with a token condemnation of Hamas and then within the context of non-state actors is portraying them as brave warriors for peace and justice. He is right in a sense that it is difficult for armies like Israel and US to deal with the problem of non state actors. But he forgets to mention that these armies have a problem because they are democracies and also are answerable to their people. They need to be seen having a moral high ground unlike brutes like the Pakistan army. The guest says Pakistan army is better than these armies. Like seriously, sounds like a shill for the army than a researcher

For pakistani arab israel history is only 75 years old and some believe only 120 years old and some believe it is only 1300 years old to suit their requirement but history is nearly 4000 years old. Just one simple question why pak army killed 25000 palestinians refugees in Jordan in 1970 within a week after King of Jordan feared palestinians overthrowing him. Not a single neighbour oif palestinians is willing to take them as refugees
India didn't took Pok/gb for releasing POW in 1971. Also didn't tried to took it during Kargil so it's clear Indian Government doesn't want to take back these parts.

Civil Palestinians losses is mainly due to hamas firings come from housing societies, hospitals, school etc, and civilians loss is consequential and trapped in cross fire

You are forgetting that Israel minimized their casualties because of their defense system. Hamas tried their best to kill tens of thousands of Israelis by launching thousands of rockets, and they continue to do that for days. Then Hisbullah even joined the fight and tried to kill Israeli citizens. you guys keep forgetting that.
If they did not have the capabilities to counter Israeli forces, then why did they launch these attacks and went back to hide among the civilians.
You guys are pretending to stand on high moral grounds should ask yourselves these questions that how come, you never question Hamas for instigating a fight that they know that they’re not capable of countering
So should we condemn hypothetical deaths that could have happened or actual 6000 children that were murdered by Israel?
@@ThePakistanExperience it is not a hypothetical reasoning. You can say it with a great degree of certainty, that if those rockets had landed as they were intended to thousands of civilians would’ve died. I’m trying to bring your attention to the intentions of Hamas.
Let’s put this example on us. if India shoots thousands of rockets on our side of Kashmir, which they believe we have occupied what would be our reaction ?
Hamas starts these fights, which they know very well they are not capable of fighting and jeopardizing their civilians lives then the onus is on them. They are the war criminals, and they should be questioned. Nobody is questioning them, including you guys.

Just my opinion on this issue.
I understand if someone in order to stand for their country making an argument by looking into an issue tilted towards one side (party).
But in these podcasts, it's like let us keep aside mistakes done by Hamas or their supporters and either defend or sympathize with them (by saying Israel is discriminatory against Palestinians since many decades) but bang on mistakes being committed by Israel.
I agree to the point against Israel where they are killing civilians too in the name of their fight against Hamas, where most of the civilians has nothing to do with attacks or Hamas.
But in the garb of supporting Palestinians against atrocities/ crimes of Israel - leaving or omitting the crimes / atrocities of the other side is actually damaging their narrative across the world.
Other countries around the world, though they take their sides based on their interests - they also consume the narrative. West is stubborn in supporting Israel (though they are making statements on loss of civilians - but they can't stop or not trying to stop Israel). Most countries are not coming strongly to support the Palestinians because those who are supporting them are showing double standards.
If supporters of Palestine address the mistakes committed on both sides, then there could be strong support to them from many countries which might push West to tone down their support to Israel.
But I don't see an objective discussion here.

People are making content because they think, by propagating a biased narrative ( which is being done on both side ) they are making the world a better place....but they are only satisfying their savior complex....I have seen many people to talk about that what is happening on one side is unfair, so they are attacking the other side because they have no other way....but no one is talking about how to make a practical solution....isreal and palestine, none of them are going anywhere....

Actually it was only the British Empire who fought against Nazi Germany from first year to its last year.
