Serously: 1. no one wants to lose money 2. no, im not the Kind of Person who buys an ev (tbh no one should Right now and prob. In the next 5 years ). Unless you also Trade with trash bonds or want to lose Money
I don’t like the new front. It’s too generic and bland. The old one had more character and was instantly recognizable, while the new one looks like any other sport car
That green Cross Turismo is a killer in all aspect, it is not short of beauty from the front to the rear, from the top to it's wheels. Porsche have clearly shown what an electric car should look like, and not like all these nonsence that people are building and calling it cars. It is Porsche any day any time 👍🏽
....You are literally amazing cuz you come up with really great videos on a consistent basis so thanks again mate😀😀...love the taycan, I mean all three, especially the Sport Turismo, good estates are real fun like the RS6 from Audi😍😍.....
@@fatdoi003 what do you mean “not really” ? Every Tesla owner I know said the taycan is a better looking car inside and out…no one cares what “your favorite is”…95% of everyone in the EV world agrees that look wise the taycan beats out all the others easily.
Hardly can wait to more test drives from certain car magazines and comments for new suspension features. Even 5 years ago some of those very critical test drivers were admitting "I may be driving at the moment the best car available of the world"...
If only the interrior could be as beautiful as the outside of the Tycan! I find it quite boring on the inside, but its typical Porsche. So I guess it's just a love or hate thing. That being said, this is one of the most exciting and beautiful EV's out there! The new design language of Porsche line up is looking super good and fresh. Porsche is one of the brands that don't dissapoint.
@@kkjjqrysdgadff7782 i agree that nowadays interriors are quite overloaded with tech and big screens, so Porsche is doing quite a good job with simplicity. For me personally, I think it is too simple. It is a great quality definetly, but somehow it becomes too simple and boring. If you are buying an luxury sports car, you want to have an emotions every time driving this car. Therefore I think brands like mercedes or aston martin has more exciting interriors. This was the main reason I bought a mercedes not porsche. That being said, Porsche has always been a racing brand not that much a luxury brand. Over time, Porsche has slowly transition into luxury segment and I guess that is why I am expecting something more. Anyway, great car 🔥🔥🔥
Wow that green is just stunning. All the car I’d ever need, what a dream of a car! Ps: that hydraulic suspension is giving me some Citroen DS vibes, which is always a good thing 😝
wow glad to hear all the new improvements - I had the 2020 and then the 2022 RWD, I plan to get 2025 electric Macan but I am now debating in between Macan and Tacan - Provence is bleh, British racing green yes
Quick question: Why does the new Taycan in the thumbnail of this video look different from the one you reviewed in thr video. The front bumpers look very different; the sedan kn the video has a smooth front bumper with no separated panels on the left nor right side. It also does not have the black, "runny mascara" look that was carried over from the prior model. Thanks!
I don’t think you mentioned it in the video but I guess the Taycan now also has the new Android automotive based system. Bit of a strange abrupt ending of the video.
the gaps next to the headlights didn't translate from the mission-e concept car to the first version of the car. this is a departure from that design concept but the result is much cleaner looking -- I think the cayman/boxster will end up with a similar face. the pale green-grey color is interesting. not feeling the cheap looking black plastic area on the low rear bumper -- why do they keep doing this? overall, a definite improvement. but will people buy them? the current taycan market is quite soft.
Imo this has less character, straighter and with more graphic design elements in the front. The mission e and ore facelift were more emotional to me and the design seemed more organic
@@mihnealazar7039 I will agree that they seemed more organic, but I never loved the black teardrop on the production vehicle. I wish that they preserved a little more of the rounded/soft lines around the front vs. giving it the 992 treatment, but net-net I think the facelift is an overall success. edit: i'm just now seeing a variant where they preserve more of the black teardrop element -- maybe it's only on the turbo s? doesn't look great -- too busy up front. ua-cam.com/video/Ru6JRgzq5AE/v-deo.html
I strongly believe, that Porsche Tycan would be much better looking as a two door coupe. Simply because the car is not that big. I own a Mercedes S500 coupe and when I park next to this car, it looks even smaller than my two door car :D Also, the position of front passanger or drive seat is right next to a B pillar. So it's quite akward to get into it - you dont simply jump into your seat because the B pillar is in front of your seat. Instead, you need to put some effort into leaning front and then backwards to move around the B pillar.

@Tron-Jockey man, what can i say? You got me. Im a car dealer in 5th Generation. My wife , Friends Even my grandparents and children Go to Forums and are moaning about depreciated Porsches. Serously: 1. no one wants to lose money 2. no, im not the Kind of Person who buys an ev (tbh no one should Right now and prob. In the next 5 years ). Unless you also Trade with trash bonds or want to lose Money
The Cross Turismo in that green is very nice! 👍😊
And very nice to the cannabis 😕 (if you now the story)
A much needed improvement for the Taycan lineup. Thanks Thomas
Wow. A double treat of the facelifted Taycan and 5 series touring :) Thanks Thomas :)
enjoy m8 =)
Gotta love a fast estate :)
Wow! super impressive charging speed 320kWh at 40% in cold weather, I’m really amazed 😮
Looks much better in my opinion.
it looks almost identical, interior is 100% the same as the older ones
I don’t like the new front. It’s too generic and bland. The old one had more character and was instantly recognizable, while the new one looks like any other sport car

Out of Spec Reviews
That green Cross Turismo is a killer in all aspect, it is not short of beauty from the front to the rear, from the top to it's wheels. Porsche have clearly shown what an electric car should look like, and not like all these nonsence that people are building and calling it cars. It is Porsche any day any time 👍🏽
you can have screens and it can look very good, I filmed Chiron lately and I must admit I prefer less screens
Damn, that green Cross Turismo looks amazing. By far, the best looking electric car on the market.
Id choose the gran turismo Everytime, the sleek look just does it for me. And that green 😮💨😍. 👌
That Cross Turismo has to a contender for the most beautiful car on sale currently. Even - perhaps especially? - in the Oak Green. Surprising!
RIP to everyone who bought the Taycan recently, they sure as hell got a slap in the face with this…
16:50 OMG Thomas, answer your phone from time to time 🤣
His videos are so detailed and therapeutic!
highly appreciated !
The technique of handling "tilt", that technique Volvo already tried/tested in the 1980s on volvo 740/760
Over and out
I can answer the question in a brief way that Thomas ask in 25:56 : Over correction will cause tire contact area reduced hence reduced grip.
Way better than the original version.
Great review as always Thomas! When will we see the Hyundai ioniq 5 n review from you in Full Thomas, Full 4k?
2 important launches at 00:00 German time, mean Thomas, meaaaaan !!! :) I was supposed to go to sleep now...
same here haha =)
Much giggle in this one,, 👍🥰👍
Thank you all Autogefülers,, ❣🙏❣
Nice video Thomas! Those are in fact 21 inch wheels on that Turbo S, not 20”
Correct, sorry
@@autogefuehlno problem Thomas, great video!
🙏🙏
Also changed it at least in the subtitles now
....You are literally amazing cuz you come up with really great videos on a consistent basis so thanks again mate😀😀...love the taycan, I mean all three, especially the Sport Turismo, good estates are real fun like the RS6 from Audi😍😍.....
Best looking EV by a mile. This is the car other EV owners wish they could afford
not exactly...... my fav ATM is the Zeekr 001 FR
@@fatdoi003 what do you mean “not really” ? Every Tesla owner I know said the taycan is a better looking car inside and out…no one cares what “your favorite is”…95% of everyone in the EV world agrees that look wise the taycan beats out all the others easily.
Shame they didn’t add physical buttons like the macan
I'm not a Porche guy, but the Taycan I can get behind.
Great presentation! 👍👍
More Leah please 🥰..
Excellent review, thank you !
I’m not interested in EVs but if I was this would be the car I’d buy
Cros tourismo omggg ❤❤❤❤
That Oak Green is just awsome.
Awesome video ! Porsche constantly improving and adding useable features/functions without gimmicks, meanwhile always beautiful.
Hardly can wait to more test drives from certain car magazines and comments for new suspension features. Even 5 years ago some of those very critical test drivers were admitting "I may be driving at the moment the best car available of the world"...
these ligthbars are sooo awesome !!!
They should have brought over the physical climate controls from the new cayenne/macan models.
I love the front air intake area, looks a bit like the Ferrari 458 Italia!
how is it possible not to hide rear windscreen whipper under the spoiler???
Existing owners of Taycans didn't think their depreciation nightmares could get any worse.. now this
More power and range 🔥
Macan EV is a more convenient in the middle console with a volume knob and real buttons
24:55 die wurmberger ausfahrt ist meine main ausfahrt, direkt erkannt
Exterior & spec wise Porsche is nailing it. Display graphics don't seem to be on the same level, like looking at a Gen2 Iphone..
Interior of Audi GT is better as is radio…. Outside Porsche better. I love the cross turismo!
The Taycan interior is perfection, imo. Too many silly loud interiors these days, the Taycan is simple, clean, with ultra premium materials.
@@davidlepoidevin4239the e tron gt interior is clearly cheaper than the taycan
@@yanis_s500Porsche drivers look outside, not inside 😅
Absolutely beautiful car. I’m a jealous Tesla owner over here lol.
I would never be able to afford these cars but they are very beautiful:)
Porsche does design some really beautiful cars. What has happened to the Mercs guys?
Great video. Will we see a video of you driving the new turbo S?
Driving reviews in April!
The Turbo S wheels are 21”, not 20”, it shows on your video if you zoom in. I thought they looked small or 20” (can’t believe 20” is small now).
Talking about design, Thomas’ shoes are really nice
Why don’t they put some of those front fog lights low near the tarmac since it’s got overflowing electric power already? For more safety.
Why have Porsche put gloss black trim on the door pillar and boot lid ? Possibly to make the windows look bigger but not nice to look at.
omg 2 big videos in 2 minutes idk if i should watch this or the 5 series wagon
BOTH of course =) just come back / catch up later if you cant finish :)
Nice stuff. Only wish they had ditched the center console screen with the buttons panel from the new Macan
Best car reviewer
Great review! Thank you
Do they allow you to set a lower temperature limit for the battery when charging to extend the life of the battery?
another great video!
Hello Thomas! Excellent video but I’m more impressed by your suit! I wonder which brand it is!!! 😅
Cheers! Cinque
Excellent! Thank you!
If they manage to improve also the efficiency, then hats off to all of the engineers!
the gaps next to the headlights didn't translate from the mission-e concept car to the first version of the car. this is a departure from that design concept but the result is much cleaner looking -- I think the cayman/boxster will end up with a similar face. the pale green-grey color is interesting. not feeling the cheap looking black plastic area on the low rear bumper -- why do they keep doing this?
overall, a definite improvement. but will people buy them? the current taycan market is quite soft.
Imo this has less character, straighter and with more graphic design elements in the front. The mission e and ore facelift were more emotional to me and the design seemed more organic
@@mihnealazar7039 I will agree that they seemed more organic, but I never loved the black teardrop on the production vehicle. I wish that they preserved a little more of the rounded/soft lines around the front vs. giving it the 992 treatment, but net-net I think the facelift is an overall success.
edit: i'm just now seeing a variant where they preserve more of the black teardrop element -- maybe it's only on the turbo s? doesn't look great -- too busy up front. ua-cam.com/video/Ru6JRgzq5AE/v-deo.html
very informative review. I hope the real-world range lives up to their claims. 👍
My eyes actually widened when the car lifted that fast!
Great job! 👌🏽
Thay are all gorgeous, but the cross turismo😍 however, I'd ger a base base Taycan, just to know how is it in it's core
Superb Thomas !! What is the max speed for the new Turbo S ?
The new front end looks so good
I strongly believe, that Porsche Tycan would be much better looking as a two door coupe.
Those are good points, I agree. They could move the pillar back slightly and extend the doors back.
Never owned a S63 coupe, but considered one. I was impressed with the space in the rear seats.
that would look better, but you've essentially described what they'll deliver with the new cayman/boxster
The green tourismo 👌
I wouldn't touch a electric car with a ten foot pole, but for porsche maybe I'd give it a look. Cross Turismo hands down.
Still no optional mode for one pedal driving.....
Great new look Thomas. I mean your hair 😊. Love the new Porsche too
I miss the teardrop shape of the old model's headlight's. Other than that it seems like a really extensive improvement.
The Taycan is an amazing car
Pop out door handles would've been nice. Can it be opened & started with a phone or watch instead of having to carry the key.
Can‘t believe some people pay more than 100k for a Tesla when they can get this masterpiece 😮
