people should read about the 2025 taycan user reviews at porsche forums, charger issues that require parts to be replaced from first Gen has been carried to the 2nd gen. Think twice before buying especially if your country doesn't have lemon law in US or similar law in your country.

Yeah read yesterday how one bought it for 120.000€ and tried to bring it and buy another car in the same Dealership and they said that the car is now Worth 40.000€ 😮😮🤬🤬🤬
A shame it's much smaller, has less range, slower to 100, lower top speed and lower efficiency than a model S. But the badge is nice and the badge will sell many of these things.
@@Twin.motors much smaller? They're almost the exact same size. And no the Plaid is NOT quicker 0-60. Don't tell me you still believe Tesla's lying claims that were disproven years ago. And most importantly, you can't compare a Tesla to something that actually has an interior.
@@yissibiiyte have you been in a Taycan? they're tiny. Also there are so many videos of the Plaid beating any Porsche on UA-cam.. why try to say otherwise ? A base Taycan probably won't have heated seats, to get a Taycan to even match a Model S interior you probably need an extra 20k in options. They serve different purposes but as EVs, the Model S is superior. As a sports car I'm sure the 200kg heavier Taycan is better.
@@Twin.motors you do realise the Turbo GT hasn't been released yet? That does have a faster 0-60 than the Plaid and probably quarter mile too, but we shall see. And the very base Taycan has a better interior than a 140k Plaid for the simple fact it has physical controls and usable ergonomics. The Porsche has incomparably better suspension, better noise insulation, better material quality and overall quality. And in the real world charging speed is more important than outright range, which the Porsche is also considerably better at.
@@yissibiiyte I've been driving EVs for 6 years. The ability to get in your car and pick any place on the map with zero thought is absolutely unbeatable for Tesla. There's barely any 300kw chargers around and if there are you need to be lucky for them to be working. I have the slowest, smallest range Model Y but I will absolutely love to "race" any long range EV by placing a random destination 2000km away and I guarantee I will win due to the supercharger availability and reliability. Tesla is the only brand on planet earth that actually cared enough for their customers to build a charging network, nobody else cares about their customers, they just want to milk you for money. As for the Turbo GT.. I'm very curious about it, we'll see what it can do when it comes out and I hope it can be faster than the Plaid considering it'll be twice the price and riding on a chassis that's nearly 15 years newer.
why the bumpers are plastic? at first release i remember only the base models were plastic? now all of them got plastic? as a car journalist, you should mention this and any other cost cutting things. we need to roast more car manufactures
by the time i need a new car this car would have depreciated enough where it would be in the price range i would hope it would I hope would be around 70k
I hope they made the interior larger, in the first gen if I was comfortable in the drivers seat, NO ONE could sit behind me, making it a 3 seat vehicle.
Hello Thomas. Help me understand EVs please. Confused. If the batteries get weaker in 3-4 years but are too expensive to replace, are EVs therefore disposable? Over hundred grand euro and in 5 years the batteries need changing?

They’re definitely still figuring it out
Pretty sure the passenger screen not being visible from the sides is an intended privacy feature.
safety feature
Awesome vehicle, very impressive
time for 1.ooo.ooo subs!👍👍👍
Unfortunately it looks like you cannot get alcantara steering wheel without that stupid sport chrono stopwatch ward.
Anyone thinking of buying a new Taycan needs to give their head a wobble. 😏💸
I’ll buy this car it’s made for me
Fabulous car - no doubt. But the depreciation is scary. A neighbour has one and his story is completely off putting.
Isn’t this the 2025 facelift, not the 2024?
Yes you are right in automotive industry terms
If you live in USA where it’s year + 1 for some reason
will pick the panamera over this anydays
by the time i need a new car this car would have depreciated enough where it would be in the price range i would hope it would I hope would be around 70k
Nice matching 😂color combo
Porsche Taycan front face is no longer ugly.
what?? I'd say the opposite..
I love it but unfortunately I don't have enough money
I hope they made the interior larger, in the first gen if I was comfortable in the drivers seat, NO ONE could sit behind me, making it a 3 seat vehicle.
Kindly please try to review XIAOMI SU7
Hello Thomas. Help me understand EVs please. Confused.
If the batteries get weaker in 3-4 years but are too expensive to replace, are EVs therefore disposable? Over hundred grand euro and in 5 years the batteries need changing?
There are 10 yo Teslas on the road with battery degradation of less than 5%. Batteries getting weaker is not much of a thing to worry about at all.
Finally offering basic blind spot monitoring in 2025 while still not giving some basic auto pilot, come on Porsche.
If 911 would be electric and same price as Taycan, it might be bestseller.
This would be perfect with a 450 hp 6cyl
