The fact that he didn’t just jump straight into dung eater redemption story and, instead, walked us through the path inspiring him to retake the path is next level narrative push.
Loved the video, the memes mixed with actual lore bits and theories are great! In my opinion though, i think that throne is for Godfrey himself considering there was cut content of godfrey adressing the tarnished next to a huge throne in a room similar to the one where the two fingers are, so that could be it considering aswell that place is pretty much next to his Shade bossfight.
It seems like Godfrey had that exact same throne built everywhere he went. Stormveil? Big chair. The real Roundtable Hold? Big chair. Final cutscene of some endings? _The same big chair._ I'm honestly starting to think there may have been a big chair in Morgott's arena _after_ defeating him, but I may have hallucinated that one after seeing it follow me throughout the game. If I looked harder, I might even find another.
Agreed. Godfrey was around during the earliest age of the Golden Order, since he chosen as the first ever Elden Lord. Then if you look at the city, compared to the Roundtable hold, the Hold feels distinctly different, both literally as it's build with a totally different style, and also that it is literally separated away from the rest of the city, as though it was built long before the city was. Tarnished Archeologist even made a great connection that Godfrey was the leader of the 13 Crucible Knights in a manner that really invokes the idea of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round table, and what do we see right outside the throne room? A round table filled with weapons very similar to what the Knights all use. He takes that to show the moment that the Crucible Knights and Hoarah Loux chose to give up the equal rule of the round table, where there was no single head of the table, for the structure and hierarchy of the throne room now that Hoarah Loux became Godfrey, the first Elden Lord. Though I do definitely think the Shade is entirely Morgott's spell, rather than being any kind of actual "shade" of Godfrey because of the promixity to the Hold. Down in the depths of the sewers you can fight Mohg, or rather, an illusion of him that protects the pathway to the Frenzied Flame, and right behind him is a seal cast by Morgott. Morgott oddly doesn't seem to call Mohg out as one of the "willful traitors" like the rest of the Demi-gods, which considering he's happy to sit and wait for the coming of his new Dynasty, seems like he and Morgott have a deal. Mohg won't bother Morgott's rule over the city, so Morgott won't interfer with any of his plans like kidnapping Miquella, and they both know the Frenzied Flame is bad news for both of them if it gets out, so they're willing to protect it together. "Margit" isn't immune to any kind of status effect, in either place you fight him, however that fake Mohg is, and it doesn't seem to be Mohg using the same type of spell, but some sort of actual "puppet" illusion that automatically protects the area. And of note, Goldfrey is also immune to status effects, suggesting he is something similar to the Mohg illusion. Which it all seems to build to the idea that Dark mentioned, that Goldfrey is basically what Morgott uses to prevent anyone from getting close enough to realize the ruler of the city is an Omen.
Did you know that if you complete the Dungeater’s quest line and then hit his corporeal form while he’s dead on the chair in his jail cell 1 million times, you will actually get the real, canon Dungeater ending? Basically, you marry Ranni, but then ending up divorcing her and marry the Dungeater instead. After the ceremony, The Loathsome Dungeater goes to throw the usual bouquet of flowers into the crowd of wedding guests, however, instead of a bouquet of flowers, he actually proceeds to throw his own dung at the crowd as they stand there in disbelief, covered in the Dungeater’s excrement. After the wedding, you both go on a honeymoon to The Weeping Peninsula, where we finally get to witness the mythical, fade to black bang Dungeater cutscene. This is all cool and everything, but there is a catch. Getting this secret bang Dungeater ending actually has implications in real life. Once you finish Elden Ring and see the secret Dungeater ending, he actually shows up at your house, squats in your kitchen and eats all of the food in your fridge and cupboards. Because of this heinous act, you eventually begin to starve, until one fateful day, you are actually forced to eat your own dung, therefore becoming… The Loathsome Dungeater. Suddenly it clicks. It all makes sense. It was you. You were The Loathsome Dungeater this whole time, and it was only by unshackling your own corporeal form that you were able to realise this. What a revelation. The secret bang, fade to black Dungeater ending was truly a once in a lifetime experience. Everyone should experience it at least once, but a word of warning; do so at your own risk. Don’t become Elden Lord. Become… The Dungeater.
Was NOT expecting the Start Trek: Enterprise reference lol. And the call back to the Mythical Dung Eater Bang Cutscene (TM) was great. Really funny stuff as always mate
That thing about Rykard being linked to the round table hold it's something I have never heard before but weirdly enough it does make some logical sense
Whoo! Let’s go! My man got all up in that Dungeater seedbed! It’s a really long quest line, but worth it in the end when you’re holding the child you had together
It is an interesting take that Rykard could have been the leader of the Roundtable hold 🤔 No one else seems to have made this observation (Besides ur mother)
It’s crazy that your videos are the quality level of someone who deserves over a million subs because it hopefully means you never completely change the type of content you make
The dragon in Leyndell is in a moaning position so I don't think that it was killed by the demigods, I am certain it just felt the need for self-pleasure and was so good at it that the overexcitement got the upper hand.
It "stumbled and fell" on the giant spear and was too ashamed to call the hospital when it realized it couldn't pull it back out... Tale as old as time.
Fun fact from the end of the video: High rates of divorce in developed countries is one of the classic examples of misunderstood or misrepresented data, that my data science prof. took a whole class to talk about. It goes like this: There is a steady rise in the number of divorces in the western world as economies progress and quality of life improves. Its often used for propaganda by the more conservative side as an argument against modernization and shit. But the reality is, marriages and divorces arent short term events. It takes decades before marriages fall apart. And the older the couple are, the longer it takes them to separate(unlike anyone in Elden Ring). So the couples that are separating got married probably decades ago, before they had much freedom about who and when they'd marry. With a more progressive society more people mutually separate, or women leave toxic relationships, as they are less and less socially or financially dependent(very much like everyone in Elden Ring). One good thing is, the divorce rates are nosediving, as less and less people are forced into unhappy marriages, and thus the ones that do get married now are liable to be together a lot longer(hopefully thats how it goes in Elden Ring).
There is an area that is hidden to the tarnished that is sacred to the perfume people. It is the back alleys of lleyndell, where they are able to sell the special perfumes and get that good good. That is canon. Its in the lore.
2 Things I Gotta Say: 1) They kicked out the homeless and made it a PvP shelter. I don't know what I expected. 2) The song played when mad tongue Alberich is on screen. I know it, but I can't place it and it haunts my waking nights.
Never forget that you can complete dung eater by giving him seluvis potion, and is the best option, you get his armor, rune, and a eternal sex slave i mean strong puppet, also a proper punishment, devoid of ego
actually the thing that he said about the legendary armaments happened to me, it was the only item that kept me from reaching 100%, funny thing is that i got all legendary spells and talisman without knowing how to reach them just by exploring, but i never found a way onto that spear
16:00 if the Dung Eater ate everything in my fridge, does that mean that I stock my fridge with dung? Does that make me the Dung Eater this whole time?
I absolutely love bolt of Gransax, similar if not exact moveset to Xnaginata and a ranged AoW too. Dual wielding these is great, most players don't stack lightning resistance so all you bleed lovers shouldn't miss the damage.
Literally looked you up 9 hours ago to see if a new vid dropped and saw nothing. Went to bed sad. Then you uploaded a vid 1 hour later. Notice me Dark Tark!
Can’t wait for the homelessness DLC so we can finally enter the shelter and contract rot from sharing the single toilet
Auch tearjerking lore

Kind of wish there was a dark souls/hobo: a tough life game.
Random question, but what is the quote qnd soundtrack at 13:42 ? At first i thought it was from americans mcgees alice, but i couldn't find it.
@@B1g_B0ssssspretty sure the song is from silent hill idk about the quote

The fact that he didn’t just jump straight into dung eater redemption story and, instead, walked us through the path inspiring him to retake the path is next level narrative push.
my favorite end to this quest is still using the wizard guy from Ranni's team's drugged drink to turn him into a puppet. guy slaps in HP and Damage.
if you kill him immediately after you give him the potion - you get to keep his gear, AND get him as a puppet. Dunno why it works. Just does. ;)
Tragically I finished Ranni's quest and because she kills Seluvis you can't use the potion anymore. 😢
NG+.....I'm coming for you, Dung Eater.
It is amazing that you can finally achieve the mythical BioWare fade-to-black bang Dung Eater cutscene!
